Inzi took a big step into the world and shrugged her shoulders, bouncing excitedly. A whole new bright day. A whole bright new day where she could be outside, helping the pride, doing adult things! Well, adult-like things anyway. She still wasn't exactly a "real person" yet, so to speak. She had to figure out exactly what it was she would do, and right now, she wanted to do everything! Fight, hunt, patrol, write... Absolutly anything and everything!

"Okay... maybe I can be..." She mumbled thoughtfully, kicking up her back legs into the air so that she stood up on her forepaws, "A great warrior like dad was! Or..." She took a few steps forward, trying her best to keep up her balance on the sand, "A hunter... like other dad is... or..." A few more steps, where her back legs wobbled up in the sky, "I could be a scribe... write things down... but no..." She wobbled a little, falling forward and tumbling down a sand-dune, "Eeep!"

She laughed when she hit the bottom, "Oh man... I can't help it! I WANT TO DO IT ALL!" She shouted into the sky, grinning like a wild thing. She wondered if anyone in pride history had ever done every job in the whole pride. That sounded like something she would do! No questions asked! Everything that the world had to offer!

Kopa was still new to the lands. Flicking his ears his eyes were alive to everything around him. Flicking his tail he made his way over the sands, trying to remember where certain landmarks were. Meeting both Vian and Meilin was helpful, but he still needed to try and learn on his own. However, he couldn't just wander off and hope to come back the same way. He noticed, on the way here, everything looked the same when nothing but sand surrounded you.

Being a new hunter, Kopa wanted to find some perfect prey animals, and where they roamed. Not necessarily go after anything just yet, he just wanted to prepare.

A voice caught him though, and as he turned he didn't see anything. A play on the wind, he assured himself.

Then again, he could be wrong, but he needed to pay attention.

Inzi blinked and looked up, sure she had heard someone else. And sure enough, there someone was! He probably didn't see her, she was about the same color as the sand really, when one looked at her. Usually it was her mane and tale that gave her away, but he didn't seem to see her. Oh well! That just meant that there was a new friend for her, and she loved making new friends!

"Hey mister!" She called up the hill, leaping to her feet and stretching out. This would be fun! "Mister, do me a favor and count how long it takes for me to get from the bottom of this hill up to you, can you?" She grinned, leaning down a little and preparing to launch herself.

"Count to three and then I'll start! I used to be able to do it in ten seconds, but these sand dunes are always changing!" She giggled, digging into the sand and sticking out her togue at him, "If you do a good job, I'll time for you next!"

Kope stopped adn looked at a sandy colored female not far away. She was young, not full grown but full of life and energy like he had not seen in a very long time. He gulped, trying to keep his composure, there was no way he could properly introduce himself right now,s he was too far away. What to do, what to do. He needed to relax, be confident, and not have his voice crack.

Females, he should have talked to more of them when he was young.

"All right, one, two three!" he called out to her and waited where he was. He didn't want to add onto it, saying he didn't need to be timed. His paws were large and could carry him with ease, he'd already gotten pretty used to the sands.

Inzi grinned, leaning down, and the second she heard the last number, she took off as fast as she could. It took her around four seconds to reach the top of the hill, which was exactly one less second than it had taken her last time. And meant she had beaten all her siblings, still, by ten seconds. Her father was usually the one who would time them... but most of her siblings couldn't care less about the effort. She wasn't special, really... it was more that she liked to be energetic! Her father said she was too much so... But whatever.

She grinned when she reached the top, sticking her face right in front of who, she was fairly positive, was her new friend! "Thanks so much! What was your time? I got four seconds... three seconds? Four seconds, yeah, I think it was four but I like to be sure!" She grinned, sitting down and tilting her head, "I get distracted you see, by things..." Her eyes darted to the side, "Ohh... new sand dune."

Then she blinked, remembering she was in company. Her father had told her she should be polite in these situations... her grandmother had given her a light smack and said she should pay attention when someone was speaking to her. And introduce herself. "Oh, I'm Moto'Inzi, just so you know. I haven't seen you around before... But they didn't used to let me out of the temple. I was born here and all."

She spoke so fast Kopa wasn't sure whether to interrupt to ask a question of what she had stated or whether or not his action would be considered rude. He had to loosen up, not be so proper, why couldn't he talk to females, why was he always shy? He needed to get out more. He flicked his tail, trying to keep up, for a moment her idea of other things made him wonder about a necklace he had started on and buried because it was strange looking, he had messed up the pattern.

"Well its nice to meet you Moto'Inzi," should he call her Inzi, was it too soon to ask that? How proper should he be with her? She was younger than him, so full of life, what should he do, how should he act, ugh, he needed coaching he swore it. "My name's Kopa, I just moved here, not long ago, from the pridelands," he said with a smile. "I walked by the temple a few times, but I know certain areas are off limits, I love the designs on the walls," he was so intrigued with pattern, design, visual experience.

Inzi tilted her head, listening too him, "You can call me Inzi, Kopa. It's okay... no one calls me by my full name, I forget I have one half the time!" He was nervous, which was, well weird. Her father, Sepoko, could get like this sometimes, when he was worried one of the children would get hurt... or would do something stupid that would get them hurt anyway. This guy though... what did he have to get nervous about? Maybe that she would fall and hurt herself too or something?... What was that smell? Something good? Maybe one of the hunters would...

...Oh right, Kopa was still there.

"I've never been to the pridelands... Oh, but my aunt and uncle live there, I think." She mentioned, grinning a little and taking a seat, "My grandma tells me about it sometimes. But I've never been anywhere that wasn't here before."

She leaned forward a little, tilting her head, "Want to know a secret? Me too. The stuff inside the temple. I love it all. My dad is a scribe, so he does some of the drawings, even though he mostly teaches. But I love all the symbols." She grinned even more widely, hoping to help put her new friend at ease. After all, everyone in the pride was a friend!

Kopa gulped as she came a bit closer after speaking, speaking of her family members in the Pridelands, perhaps he had seen them in passing. His ears were slightly back, a nervous expression on his face, in his eyes. Her father was a scribe? It was intriguing, perhaps he could meet him one day to learn more, understand more about the symbols that fascinated and baffled him so much.

"I don't mean to be so nervous just I," he took a breath, tried to calm his beating heart, was it hotter all of a sudden? He needed a drink.

"I just, haven't met many outside my family, even when young, and now, I only know a few here," his ears swiveled, he was envious of her outgoing personality. "I hope that, that I don't offend you at all being nervous."

Inzi tilted her head, listening and flicking her ears backd and forth. She wondered why it was the sun was so bright in the desert? Was that something special or...? No! Bad Inzi! She was supposed to be paying attention, not drifting off!

She stepped forward again, "Nervous? About me? Oh, you shouldn't be nervous about me. Father always says that you should love those around you, because love causes..." She couldn't remember actually. What had he said about love? It had been a good thing. She was sure it had been a good thing. "Well, love causes good stuff to happen. So you should love everyone, and the world will love you back!" Maybe that wasn't what her father had said, but it still sounded pretty good.

"Do don't worry, you won't offend me, I promise. I talk a lot anyway, so I can make up for you not talking!" She grinned, rather liking the sound of that, "Unless you want to talk? Maybe you should talk, and I'll try to pay attention. Or do you want me to talk, and you can listen... or should we try and even it out?"

So full of energy and life, it was as if the sun sourced from Inzi herself with such bright intensity. Kopa swayed his tail, looked to where some of the ruins stood in the distance. He smiled, looked to Inzi and took a step, "What if we both talk, but, at the same time, you can show me some neat places? I haven't wandered too much so far, I don't want to go to places I should wait to venture to, I know some places we aren't meant to go within, besides those places though, I don't know what is open ground, so to speak."

Now, now, look at his mouth go.

"So show me, take me to places?" perhaps if he stayed with her a while, he could open himself up to her and maybe others, it would take time though, how much time he wasn't sure, but he could try.

Inzi just beamed, standing up straight and nodding her head furiously, "I'd love to show you around! Traveling the lands is half the fun, and I know the temple really well!" She promised, since running around the temple as fast as she could had been one of her many games when she was younger. She was sure she would be able to help him by showing him around!

Besides which, he was really friendly and she thought it was a shame that he didn't have many friends. That would just be something she would have to remedy, now wouldn't it? No one should have no friends! That was just a bummer, and being bummed out was no one's friend.

"Come with me."" She grinned, hopping towards the temple on the shifting sand, "I can show you what the whole world looks like! Or... the whole world in terms of the desert I guess. It's always fun to look around, and you don't want to get lost in the desert! That'll get you in some real trouble, let me tell you."

Kopa watched her and his eyes glowed, a smile on his maw. She was so full of life and friendship, how she was so open, he was envious. If only it was a trait to learn, perhaps he should have really gotten out more as a cub, gotten into trouble, something.

His ears fell a little back, but in happiness of the situation, he stood next to her, looked down, as she was shorter, and smiled.

"Show me then," his internal sun's strength was growing now.

Inzi grinned, seemingly thrilled that she had gotten him to come along with her, and she really was. How often was it exactly that you could drag off someone on a whole new adventure with you like this!? Not nearly often enough as far as she was concerned! But now she had a partner in crime, right out of the gate! How could things be any more fun than that!?

"Come on!" She grinned, holding out her paw as she sat down and shoved herself backwards so she slid back down the sand dune she had run up only a moment before. "I'll show you the whole world if you let me!"

As far as Inzi was concerned, she could probably run around the entire universe in two days flat if she wanted too. She was probably right.
