Blue oval for me. I tend to have respect for companies that don't need bailouts, that do recalls once in a while, and don't use plastic intake manifolds that never get recalled *coughhackGMhack*

I'm a Ford person, everyone likes to torture me on it, but the first thing that comes to mind.. is Ford. I have absolutely no problem with Chevy, I would drive, have a few times, we have a Chevy Tahoe, and pickup. I've driven them a bunch. I got no problem what-so-ever with em. I got a Ford Truck, that is suppose to be mine wink can't go on the road, cause inspection is out, and my dad is gonna do work to it.. but, I love it! biggrin I loved driving it when I could, so if we do replace it, better be with another Ford!! wink that.. and I just prefer Ford biggrin We've always had atleast one Ford in our little convoy of vehicles wink

It was Pontiac but now that Pontiac is done, it would probably be ford, maybe subaru. Gm makes reliable cars, they just are dumb with their management. Every car company has there ownproblems. Ford has a habit of doing this different electrically and mechanically and can be aggravating to work on.

Mine would be ford although the jeep cherokee has always been my favorite vehicle and now I have one. My dad had one.. my brother had one and now its my turn. FOrd would be my favorite because they are innovation, they set the standard and know where they are going.
And some of you may recall that GM has not only had this most recent bailout, but that was the SECOND bailout. Ford knows what they are doing form a building point and management point.

Mopar through and through....Dodge has been a fav of mine since I was a kid. 1st car was a 66 Charger and even though it hurt in the bank to fuel up..it was a hell of a ride... next up would be Mitsubishi... the Evo was one of the most dominant cars on the road for years... and still is..I've yet to see any one other car beat it outside of a drag strip with ease. I have a few issues with Ford... they killed Jag and have slowly downed the Mazda brand... I used to really like the RX series... but lately they haven't really been much on the road..even before I got rid of my Carlo SS I was able to out drift them..and I was nearly twice the weight...

I'm sticking with my pontiacs for the time being. I'll be saving up for a 2nd gen(1977-1979 preferably) or a 3rd gen(1987-1989) Pontiac trans am on top of the bonneville i have. It's lasted 4 years and should last another 4 no problem.
