"I'll kill you...even if it takes my last breath...I'll kill you." She growled as she pushed herself back up. The man laughed, walking up to the girl as he shook his head.

"You cannot defeat me. And you will never defeat me." He answered.

Swords clashed again and then there was a bright flash. When it cleared, she was on the ground, smoke rising off the ground and blood splattered all over the floor.

"I told you. You will never defeat me." The man laughed as he looked down at the girl laying before him.

"Maybe not in this life...but I will kill you...I swear it. My spirit will never rest until you are dead..." She hissed with her very last breath, then closed her eyes forever...or so it seemed.

Her name was Princess Amaryllis of the Kingdom of Aduial (ah-dwee-all). And the man was the dark lord Altarion, King of Gannel.

Altarion had gained immense power over time and soon began to expand his power into other kingdoms, leaving behind a trail of destruction wherever he went if they refused to succumb. Many nations followed under him as a result, but a few kingdoms did rise to try and fight him. Cirith was one of those kingdoms. Sadly, Princess Amayryllis failed in her mission to protect her kingdom, like so many others. This was 100 years ago. And now, 100 years later, it looks as if the battle is ready to begin again....

Bio: He started out in a poor but happy family. His father was a blacksmith so he has always been around swords. He was always taught that if one lived a good life and honest life, that life would be good to them. Because the villaged he lived in was so small and the location was insignificant, the armies had no reason to go and force them into submission. Then at around the age of 7, his village was attacked. Everything was burned to the ground. He survived because he had somehow gotten away and hide amoung the trees. All he found was a broken sword that his father had made. He left with and wondered the world somehow surviving. He did anything he could to survive. As he grew, he made his own theory about he world. The strong survive and the weak die. In this world, there are no good people or bad people, only those with power and those without it. To move up in the world, one had to make room at the top; one had to kill to be recongnized. Fear was respect and those who believe that the 'good' side will win are only fooling themselves. If one wanted something, they had to take it by force. That was the only way to rise in the world. So he stool a great sword and carved his way to the top. He made his name known throughout the world as a powerful mercenary.

Appearance: Dais However, he does not have the eyepatch on now, as it may be too obvious to his identity.
Bio: Dais has that tough guy attitude about him. He’s a bit of a quiet and careful one. Think the intelligent silent but strong type. He is often level headed and will only speak when necessary. He’s not great at socializing, and sometimes may just use the wrong words in the situation. Dais is not quick to anger, but may sometimes think too much than is good for him. His thinking was what got him in the current situation.

Dais was one of the best in Altarion’s ranks, so he was known to the king. They even chatted a couple of times. At the time, Dais had just considered Altarion his king, but Dais’s thoughts led him to realize something. Soon, he found himself branded as a traitor and on the run from Gannel for his betrayal. Luckily, his stealth abilities allowed him to leave the kingdom. However, due to the wealth of information he holds, Dais is certain Gannel won’t let him go simply by slipping into another kingdom.

Dais is now in Mereth, keeping a low profile while trying to make a living and decide his next steps. He is hiding out in a library.

Dais has a small companion ferret, Aldon, who is lithe and small enough to get through holes and snatch up things.

Bio: Rei was born in the Azrod kingdom. Her mother, Lily Yumi, was a simple gardener; her father, Kurt Yumi, was a great traveler who traveled to all of the alliance kingdoms. Kurt was a soilder who failed at his job. He pushed and pushed Rei to become a soldier, since Rei was of age.
Rei went to school like everyone else, and ended up going to be a guard. Sometimes people judged her because of her father's failure. Rei always ignored those people and continued on in her career of soldier. She is better than her father and she lives up to it.

Bio: Olivia's parents were close friends with the king and queen, thus the opprotunity for Olivia to have her job. Her mother was named Marie. She was a merchant who often times sailed to sell things, leaving Olivia with her father. Olivia's father, Peter, was a teacher for the noble kids. He was often tutoring and teaching so he had little time with Olivia. Whenever they were together they were happiest.
One afternoon Olivia and Peter were told that pirates had raided Marie's ship...Olivia's mother died. Peter and Olivia were devisated. That kept working thought, taking one day at a time. Once Olivia was old enough she became a knight, and soon after the princess's guard.

Bio: Sara was born and raised royalty, but never seemed to act it. But that was until the day her parents faught in the very first battle her kingdom the Dark Lord. She was the ruler over Cirith for the rest. She was also one of the first to lose due to her lack of war experiance. Hatred is always the first emotion that emerges when she thinks of her "Lord". Whenever forced to battle the resitance she simply lets them on through or houses them until they are ready to move on.

Reason or meaning of name: Her first name means in the language “Shooting Star”

Reason for nickname: It’s a lot easier to say that her full name

Kingdom: Gannel, but now homeless
Position: Cam was trained in the arts of killing. She was supposed to be a killing machine for Gannel. She now works as one of the advisors to the princess, but it is obvious that she isn’t like the rest of them.

Weapons: Her sword is one of her main weapons. She uses this one at all times. Her only other weapon is herself. Cam has one known ability that is similar to a weaponized form of telekinesis. She has things called vectors, where they are invisible and she can slice and dismember things. She however does not use this for fear of being found out as a demon. Bio:Cam was born with her father being a Demon and her mother an elf. Oddly enough, the two were actually deeply in love, but she was taken away, as she was seen as a phenomenon because usually the two races would not be able to mix. She remembers her parents as she was around seven years old when she was taken. Cam remembered that her mother worked in a resistance movement, while her father was a corrupt soldier for the Dark Lord. She did not find out until later on in her life that her parents had been discovered and then executed for treason to The kingdom of Gannel.

She was put under immense magical experiments and forced to train, becoming the perfect killing machine. With no parents, she had no motivation to leave, until one day she was sent out on a mission. She viewed the outside world and felt as if she were awakened for the first time. Cam had been treated as nothing more than a pet who would be trained and forced to do tricks, the methods used on her are the basis of her nightmares. She was able to escape finally in the night and run off.

Since that time she has been working as an advisor. She enjoys this, but feels as if there is something she must do to complete her job.

Bio: She was born and raised in Mereth, the Kingdom of wizards and witches. Her mother was a magnificent sorceress and her father a noble and a powerful wizard. Bio: Sephrius grew up as one of the two last dragon shifters, the dragons were always the royal bloodline.His mother died in childbirth with Lyssa Vo and again there was just two. However, when he was about 23, his younger sister (only 14) Lyssa Vo was dematerialized by a man under Altarion. Since then the young dragon prince had started a resistance toward the evil king. He is a brooding dragon however, and has yet to strike...but he is definitely preparing one. He just needs the help of a few more kingdoms.
