This is a challenge for the position of fifth espada.
The rules are as follows.
Each person gets fifteen posts, not including an introductory post. At the end of such time, the battle is over, regardless of where the fighters are at.
Resurreccion may not be used until fifth post.

The fight will take place in a canyon, with high walls, and lots of pillars of stone along the ground.

When dark reflections dance...

Bikou appeared in the center of the dust bowl with a slight static 'pop,' landing lightly on his feet, almost like a dancer.
He had been waiting for this chance for months, and even he couldn't help feeling like a giddy child. After all, joy was one of the only emotions that seemed to exist in his heartless body. Even if that joy was more often than not taken from sadistic circumstances.
It was strange, his attraction to this fight. It was not for power, nor for greed, but for interest. Bikou had never been one to subscribe to the hierarchy of power, nor did he feel a need to prove himself. He knew his own strength, and that was enough for him. But still.. a small part of him wondered what it would feel like, and it had been a long time since he had fought one of his own kind.
With a light exhale, and a quick jot over to a rising stone pillar, he took a seat and waited for Hagane to arrive.

A sigh was heard, this sigh resonated back to a figure was seen walking down the air like a long flight of stair, His eyes were scrutinizing Bikou trying to see just why he was the one challenged. "I suppose flying under the radar as 5th espada wasn't a very bright plan anyway" He mused as he suddenly hopped off going into a free fall towards the ground. His face was phlegmatic, his posture showing that he was relaxed yet refined. This was expressed by his hands being in his pockets, but his back being straight and align giving him the posture of those highly paid people in restaurant who take your reservations.

After about 5 second of free fall Hagane began to slow coming to the ground with a soft tap as his feet touched the ground. "Bikou is it? I'm afraid to say I haven't heard of you, though I wish you luck. You may have the first move, although I would have much rather gotten to know you before we ended up fighting" He stated in a serene tone. He didn't really assume any particular stance, he wasn't trained in any specific combat. Though he was rather proficient in hand to hand, his hands slowly withdrew from his pockets and his posture seemed to loosen even more giving off the slight hint that he was a rather flexible person to be this loose.

((I know you would have the first move next anyway, but my character is rather polite so he would offer it XD))

Bikou noticed the man long before his feet touched the ground. Not that it was hard, as espada tended to give off a rather noticeable aura.
"You will find that I am very difficult to be heard from, Hagane." He said with a light smile, leaping off from his perch and practically gliding to the ground, moving with the fluid grace of a dancer. "I make a point to not be noticed." He winked slyly, and placed his right hand over his heart, or at least where it would have been, and bowing dramatically at the waist, sweeping low, eyes turned to the ground. "As for your offer.." He stood, moving his hand away from his chest, and pulling out a medium length zanpakuto with a smooth white handle and the kanji for "illusion" engraved on the blade. "I thank you for your consideration."
Smoothly, Bikou swept his zanpakuto low, moving as if to bow a second time. At the apex of his bow however, he twisted his blade to the side and flew into a spinning side-jump, vanishing with a rapid sonido and appearing directly to the left, and slightly above of Hagane, coming down hard with a diagonal slash, followed by a series of three rapid stabs.

Hagane watched the bow bending his neck in return, showing that he wasn't too fond of the whole respect thing even though he talked and walked in such a refined manner. "I had assumed as much" He uttered, knowing that for an arrancar to challenge such a high seat he must of been concealing himself intentionally so that no one would be able to have details on his abilities. His pupils constricted a bit as his eyes saw the kanji seeing the word illusion engraved into the blade. "That's interesting. Well then I suppose I shouldn't take him lightly, if I don't know anything about him and he has illusion on his blade he must have some kind of ace. Or perhaps aces" He pondered watching as he swept the blade low.

His left pinky twitched as Bikou vanished, Hagane utilizing his profound presquisa could track his movements with considerable ease. He leaned backwards, pulling a "matrix" type dodge watching the blade slide across narrowly missing his body. Hagane then instantly drop stepped so that he was facing bikou and leaned to either direction while stepping backwards, mirroring the stabs. "Perhaps he being so isolated doesn't know too much about me, I haven't shown my release to anyone so that will remain a secret but maybe he doesn't know about my presquisa" Hagane mused this slowing his movements so that the last stab ended up slicing his right shoulder, nothing too serious. Before blood could trickle out Hagane's left hand rushed over drawing and swinging his zanpakuto in one fluid motion his obsidian colored blade having almost a haunting feeling that causes the hairs on the backs of your neck to stand on end. Haganes slash was directly upward and he was aiming to pass Mirouni's zanpakuto and cut his abdomen open. "He has good speed, this probably isn't full speed but it's on par with the 10. I bet he could top out with the 7th at least. Perhaps I'll end up having fun" He thought praying that this idea would be true.

Bikou smirked as he saw the small trickle of blood, although he didn't see it for long. He hated staying in one position while fighting, and this was no exception. No sooner had his blade pierced Hagane's skin, he moved, appearing to Hagane's left and slashing outwards, vanishing the split second before the blade was close enough to make contact, and switching the direction of the slash, coming in low and upwards, slashing at Hagane's left thigh.
Staying true to his fighting style, he back-flipped, twirling into an angel dive. As his head turned to face Hagane, he winked. Not an ordinary wink, however, as no sooner than his eye had closed, five bright silver balls of reiatsu rocketed outwards, breaking the sound barrier with their speed.

Hagane's eyes watched, he didn't even flinch as the fake attack attempting to elicit a response, it was useless considering his presquisa was linked with the brain and the brain was far faster than any sword. He instantly turned rotating so that he parried the slash, following this he jumped back twisting his back and kicking off with his feet going out into a long stride. Reiatsu had rushed to his legs so he could reach sonido like speeds, He weaved in and out of pillars so that the five balls of reiatsu would simply collide with pillars and not him. All this time he built up reiatsu a slight grin on his face, he then suddenly disappeared with a static "vroom" releasing the reiatsu he had built up while simultaneously concealing his, hoping the residue would confuse Bikou's presquisa.

He appeared behind Bikou coming down with a slash, the blade in his left hand as his right fired off 3 bala trying to keep Bikou concealed so that the slash would maybe connect. "He appears to have talent, if he didn't keep himself hidden he would have probably been the septima by now. I suppose he's aiming higher anyway. Maybe he'll do something fun soon. Perhaps if we played a board game instead that could be more fun. Leaving my victory up to chance would make it exciting." He pondered a slight chuckle escaping as the thought of playing candyland for an espada seat crossed his mind.

Bikou let out a long sigh, using sonido to move several yards away from Hagane before stopping, and standing still, placing his head in his hands and shaking his head lightly.
"We aren't going to get anywhere with this, Hagane." He said with a chuckle. "Your pesquisa is to strong for me to fight you normally, and your speed is a match for my own. If we keep fighting like this, we'll just swing at the air until we tire." He cocked his head, leaning to look over his shoulder at Hagane with a bored expression on his face. "Cero." No sooner had he spoken the words, a bright beam of silver light rocketed out from his location, bursting towards Hagane with lightning speed. Bikou follow suit, but instead moved behind Hagane, using the mass of his reiatsu to mask his movements. "Cero." He whispered again, firing a second blast of silver light at Hagane's location before moving directly to his right, where he fired a third, and to his left, where he fired a fourth, and then finally directly above him, where he charged for a moment, then fired a final blast, following behind it with a swift downwards chop.

Hagane chuckled hearing his words, "I suppose" He replied watching as a single cero came at him, Hagane's then widened as he could feel a second and third being fired. Time seemed to slow as an adrenaline rush hit Hagane, "Clever trying to hide his presence by fluxing more reiatsu, I don't want to give anything away so I'll let him play stealth bomber for now." Hagane thought not knowing where Bikou would be next he figured it would be all the more intelligent to leave the vacinity. He Sonido'd, though slowing it down you would see Hagane going up then pushing off the air, using reiatsu to solidify them for a moment as his legs separated making him look like he was doing a split. This was just enough for him to dodge the attack.

He grinned as a malicious idea spawned in his mind, His left index finger pointed at the 4 other in coming ceros as it fired. His plan was for his ceros to hit Bikou's and the difference between the reiatsu would cause something a bit more explosive making it so Bikou wouldn't be able to escape. The concept was similar to how when your body reject an organ from a different body because the blood type is different. The only difference was Hagane hoped his version would end with a bang.

When dark reflections dance...

Bikou was in his element. True, he felt nothing about the situation. It was, after all, a mere facade to hide his true plans. But still, he was having fun. Not an emotional fun, but more of a physical, exhilarating fun. The first of his cero had missed Hagane. He had anticipated that, they were not meant to kill him, after all. The counter-effects of Hagane's own cero had caused a major ruckus, but nothing Bikou couldn't handle. He had changed positions before the Cero had reached Hagane's location, anticipating a reaction from the man. His analysis had revealed the way he fought, the manner in which he tore apart his opponents. It was truly exhilarating. If he had a heart, he was certain that it would be racing.
"Do you know what the hard thing about Pesquias is, Hagane?" Bikou asked from behind the arrancar, standing half-lazily with his zanpakuto loosely gripped at his side. "It can only detect reiatsu. Once the field is blurred.. well.." He smiled, "Unfortunately for you, I also know how to use Pesquias, and it is all to easy to spot a single black dot on a field of white." He lifted his zanpakuto off of his shoulder and pointed it at the man. "When your senses fail you, how do you see? When the darkness falls around you, and all light is gone. How will you find your way? I am certain the in all of those cases the answer is your Pesquias. It is your pride, your best feature. That, and your speed whilst in your resurreccion." He grinned deviously. "Oh yes, Hagane, I know all about your Kuroshi. Even if you do sometimes call it a hummingbird." He tapped his lip with his left hand, pretending to think, "I wonder if anyone has ever gotten this close to you. Analyzed you the way I have.." He drifted off, thoughtfully, yet leaving the sentence hanging, as if he was implying some hidden knowledge regarding Hagane, something that no one else would know. "You fight like one who is used to fighting people that are weaker, and slower, than he is. I wonder if you will be able to keep up when your Pesquias can no longer tell where I am?" Suddenly, Bikou released the constraints on his reiatsu, allowing it to flood over the battlefield and mingle with that of his previous cero. To someone using pesquias, the world would seem a haze of reiatsu.
Bikou moved in a blur, vanishing in a rapid sonido and striking at Hagane's neck, vanishing after the motion completed and performing three more slashes in the same fashion, one aimed for his right hip, one for his left, and one for the man's chest.

Hagane chuckled at the mans statements, "It would appear you've done your homework. Interesting how you know my resurreccion. I've only used it twice and thought I had killed those who had seen it, it appears I was wrong" He said taking in a deep breathe as Bikou's reiatsu released. It was fairly impressive for a rogue arrancar but there was a gap between the Bikou and himself. Not a large one but a gap nonetheless. When Bikou began to apparently mock Hagane asking him rhetorical questions and assuming trying to make it seem like Hagane was simply handed his rank of 5th espada. As he exhaled his reiatsu seemed to creep out a bit establishing it's dominance and separating Bikou's from his. Hagane's reiatsu was thick, it didn't spread out much more than a 20 yard radius but it had quite a strong feeling to it something only a fairly high level espada would be able to produce.

Hagane grinned excitedly when Bikou seemed to infer he knew everything about presquisa and that Bikou was now apparently the master. Hagane stance widened a bit as Bikou seemed to finish his little speech, Hagane suddenly arched his back leaning back once more doing yet another "matrix" He watched as the slash passed by his nose, he even bothered to wink at himself when the blade passed over his eyes having a bit more fun than necessary. His blade then proceeded to come across his body and block the strike aimed for his right hip. Not even stopping he blurred up as soon as contact with his weapon was broken destroying the hopes for bikou to finish his combo.

Hagane then appeared on the top of a pillar standing solemn as he looked down at Bikou, "Let me take this chance to educate you, while your right presquisa is like sonar there's a big difference between it. Your reiatsu flooding the field would certainly blurr it a bit, but you are the source so as you said the black dot will still show up, just among grey" He stated yawning as his blade gently itched the side of his mask. "So all your doing is make me concentrate a wee bit. The only way for you to disappear is for you to lose all your reiatsu. Which you would in fact die from that" He said with a slight chuckle as the end. Hagane was also leaving out another crucial fact that allowed him to track Bikou's movements a whole lot easier. He figured he'd keep it to himself. "Your also incorrect once more, I've lost quite a few times in battle and have the scars beneath this shirt. I didn't always have this presquisa so yes my other senses are quite in tune" He stated finally done responding as he prepared for an attack.

He sighed as he pushed off beginning to push off of the many pillars allowing his kinetic energy to build. After about the fourth one he pushed off rushing forward towards Bikou with breakneck speed. A sudden vroom was heard as Hagane accelerated yet again, Hagane suddenly appeared skidding to a stop about 50 yards behind Bikou. When slowed down an extreme amount you would see Hagane thrusting forward intentionally missing just left of Bikou's left eye. He then followed with a quick yet surprising strong slash aiming to slice open from his left hip to upper right back as he passed Bikou at his amazing speed. "Lets see if that landed. I upped the speed a bit, perhaps he'll be able to keep up with it perhaps not" He contemplated the idea slowly turning back so that just his right yellow, predator like eye peered back waiting for a response of some kind.

When dark reflections dance...

Laughter echoed out across the canyon, diving and leaping like the dance of a bird high up in the clouds.
Bikou appeared a few seconds after the laughter, landing lightly on the tip of a stone pillar.
"My, my, my, myy, you are fast." He chuckled, wiping a small splotch of blood off of his shoulder where the tip of Hagane's blade had managed to cut him. "But I am afraid that it is far to late for such dramatic attacks, Hagane. You should of killed me when you had the chance. Now, there is none." He grinned wickedly, and leaned forward a little. "You see.. From the moment I gave you that cut," He pointed at the small trickle of blood on his right shoulder. "This fight was over. I have learned all of your attacks, all of your techniques, and most importantly, how you fight. I have no need for your abilities, so I will not be using them against you. But they did provide me with some interesting insights on how you play." He grinned again, and twirled his sword in his hands, switching it from one to the next. "Would you like to see how I play, Hagane?" He chuckled, "It may come as a slight surprise."
With a sudden jolt, Bikou reversed his grip on his zanpakuto, grasping the hilt with both hands and placed the tip of the blade on his sternum, drawing a thin trickle of blood.
"Kirakira, Zenhansha." He whispered, driving the sword into his chest with a sickening crunch.
As Bikou moved his hands away however, a smile was on his face, although not for long, as a quick-spreading wave of liquid silver crept along every inch of his form, turning him into a featureless humanoid figure, that shined with a bright light. The laughter echoed out once again, but this time it had a slight metallic twinge to it, as if it were coming from a speaker.
Slowly, ripples covered his body, transforming him into a silver-haired shinigami with a large, black katana in his hand.
"Prepare yourself, Hagane." The voice of Razil Masamune, captain of the 2nd squad, rang out. "You are facing a captain now." His face split into a malicious grin, and without warning, he burst forwards, bringing his zanpakuto up and to the left with a great cry. "DESECRATE, KATANA FUNGEKI!"
His hands separated, revealing two zanpakuto of opposite colors, one white, one black. He vanished in a rapid shunpo, appearing behind Hagane and striking at his left shoulder with his right blade, and at Hagane's midsection with his left blade on the right side.
"Feint Cut."

Hagane watched as he began to monologue, "You sure seem to be cocky. I'm glad your deciding not to use my power how considerate of you" He stated throwing up his sword, "Soar Kurohoshi" He said as a the sword dissipated into a black reiatsu that swirled around Hagane molding to his body forming his new appearance. He watched as Bikou transformed into the 2nd squad captain, "If I had killed you I wouldn't have been able to see this ability of yours. You'll definitely come in handy for us" He said smiling. This newly revealed boy was truly gifted with a great talent, perhaps he would have already surpassed Hagane had he sought Jes out instead of remaining hidden.

"He's made a mistake. Sure he's taken the abilities of captains but us espada have a fairly good intelligence program and me being the overly devoted fraccion that I was spent countless hours researching each of them. I also managed to look at the new reports. This is the 2nd squad captain, he'll be fast but you can't outrun my presquisa." He mused, seeing the swords split. He knew it must have been shikai. He sense the movement instantly he entered his typical defensive position not knowing exactly what move Bikou would use. His wings enveloped him forming a tight sphere. The attack connected on Hagane's left side, though it had no affect against Hagane's strong defense. The sphere rolled a foot or two much like an armadillo, "pejnso bahidh" Something was muttered though not being audible inside the sphere. As the wings opened 50 metal dagger erupted out at amazing speed from point blank.

"Let's see you dodge this eh? Either way afterwards their won't be any where for you to hide" He mused watching his presquisa on high so that he would be able to sense any surprise attacks that Bikou might have in store. "That was feint cut. Good thing I went into the sphere or else I would have been hit easily. I suppose I should be protecting from almost every side just in case. I need to land a hit at some point or another or else I won't be able to end this" He pondered just how going about making contact and so far his options didn't seem that great. Though as the saying goes "A Victory without danger is a triumph without glory." Hagane was going to put that to the test if he couldn't get an opening anytime soon.

((5/15.... I'm terrible at remembering to add my post number so forgive if I miss it at times))

When dark reflections dance...

Inside, Bikou was as calm as the eye of a storm, with everything outside of him moving like a hurricane. His blades ducked and weaved, moving in intricate patterns that struck each dagger as it neared him, sending each wide of it's intended striking point, even as they exploded, the swords moving around him caught nearly every shard, although he did receive an annoying cut on his left cheek. Oh well, it will heal.
His face, or rather, Razil's face, spread in a wide grin, revealing perfectly white teeth that glistened in the light.
"I see you've done your homework, Hagane. I am impressed that you would take so much time to learn about the captains of soul society." He chuckled dryly. "Unfortunately, I cannot use the Zaigou portion of this b*****d's soul, otherwise you would be dead by now." He winked, and his eye flashed silver for a moment. "I would say that I was impressed with your resurreccion, but I already knew you would do what you did. You're surprisingly predictable when someone understands the way you attack."
He vanished, reappearing behind Hagane.
"Feint cut." He whispered, driving both blades towards the base of Hagane's spine.. and disappearing.
He reappeared directly in front of Hagane, completing the attack before vanishing yet again.
Surprisingly, although Bikou himself vanished, parts of his reiatsu remained, forming into swords that slashed outwards at Hagane's head from both in front, and behind him.
Bikou reappeared several yards away from Hagane after the rest of the shrapnel died down, smiling widely and tapping both swords against his shoulders.

((Sorry it's kinda short, I have a migraine..))

Hagane looking at Bikou watching as he yet again began to monologue about how predictable he was and blah blah blah. "It's not very impressive. You've studied me just as hard as I've studied them. You and I both know learning your opponent is key when wanting to beat them. Though you assume to much, perhaps I've only been playing along just for simple fun" He stated calmly still not very impressed by the style Bikou was fighting, his abilities were yes quite impressive but it wasn't to smart to try and beat an opponent by using someone else's abilities. Hagane could now see why Bikou was an empty shell, when you become those who's abilities you steal you lose yourself in the process. Some would consider that true strength becoming something who can kill on a whim but Hagane was able to see past this fallacious strength.

Hagane sighed his wings once again encasing him forming a shield. "Yes, well if you are going to use the same techniques I shall once again use the same techniques. You'll need a lot more strength than Razil to break these wings, plus these are just as fast. Who else's abilities does he have? These wings can't handle all of them....." He mused waiting for all the attacks to end. As the flurry of attacks ended Hagane's wings unfolded and flapped causing him to disappear. He appeared directly above Bikou, roughly 12 feet away. as both wing stabbed forward hitting the ground intentionally kicking up dust. "Pequeno bala" Was whispered while the wings were stabbing causing the 50 steel daggers erupted out almost in perfect harmony now coming through the dust. Hagane once again disappeared after his firing the attack, He skid to a halt 50 meters away wiping a bead of sweat from his brow. Hagane was waiting, wondering if bikou's senses were strong enough to see through a plume of dust intentionally kicked up.

((The wings are 10 feet long each so your out of reach to strike XD. Unless you come closer but then you'd be way to close to the daggers. sorry the post took so long I am watching a really good movie))
