He looked up, his dark nose to the sky, eye's closed and ears back. The sun felt amazing and soothed away a sudden pain in his chest. He missed her dearly. "Another day, another sorrow soothed." He had gone through stages with how his family had been. He went through being deprived fatherly love, to an overly loving step-mother, to an angry moment with his step-brother and now this. He wished he could go through the other moments to avoid the pain that stabbed him from time to time.
For today, his stomach growled, he would hunt as best he could for whatever he could.

 The light-colored lioness lay tucked away in a field of flowers. She had spend the day watching the clouds, waiting, waiting for anything to stroll on by. Only the straggling cloud hovered over head, dark shadows cast upon her for their duration of blocking the sun from her.
A sigh, her chocolate eyes wide with innocence that had remained, clinging close to her in a desperate attempt to remain unchanging. She was away from everyone, and a lone butterfly hovered before her sugar-colored maw before landing delecately on her dark nose.
She wanted her king, though, so dearly, and she watch the butterly resting on her nose with crossed eyes, but unlike her chilish youth, she didn't giggle and give chase to the small winged creature.
She had changed, matured, and now, she was ready to leave. To travel the world with her King, and bear his cubs and make a family. A family where they knew all was well, because they would stay together.
So she just lay and wondered of the future.

His hunt brought him far, the terrain had changed severely, but the sky stayed the same. It comforted him to feel the sun on his back, made him feel safe, made him feel protected from things that could hurt him. He treasured the day.
Soon he found himself in a dizzy area, the scent of flowers was stronger then he'd ever smelled before. He felt ill at first then sucked it up, it would be brilliant for cover from any prey he could find. he cleared his mind and with that, it seemed his nose as well.
"What's this.." He paused briefly. His paws settled on the ground in teh comfortable padding of the flowers. His breathing stopped and heart raced. Through the sweet scent of flowers he found a sweeter.
"Oh Rose, my sweet. I must dreaming a most perfect dream." He sighed heavily, not bothering to quiet his voice, he spoke proudly to himself.

Light colored ears flicked. A voice? It sounded familiar, her brain trying to match the voice to the being. She pushed through the beautiful flowers she constantly surrounded herself in, and peered over them.
"Kitisho?" She asked softly, eyes falling on the figure that appeared in her domain. Suddenly, the butterfly on her nows fluttered it's wings, tickling her nose before taking off. The lioness giggled.
She was used to the soft creatures landing on various places of her body, and she would forget they were there a lot.
She paused for a second, focusing her attention back on the figure. It was him, she was sure of it. "Kiit!" She rushed forward.

He couldn't save himself from the bombarding brown mass. He gasped just before she settled onto him. "Maybe rushing is the next best idea Rose?" Kitisho laughed happily, he couldn't put words to his sudden joy. his Queen was back in his clutches, his plot to steal her away from her family faded for the moment as he nuzzled her.
"I missed you more than I can say." He whispered to her ear. His body shifted beneath her and pulled himself free to cuddle with her.

Rose could almost sob with joy. She was pretty sure her eyes were welling up. Tan maw nuzzled the caramel fur with the deepest love she had ever experienced. Oh, did she love this cheetah.
"I missed you too, Kit. I could think of nothing but you," she confessed, wanting to keep the male close forever. His absence made her heart ache, ever since he had left.
"Don't leave me again, please," she practically begged. Maybe he would take her with him this time. She hoped, oh she dearly hoped.

Kitisho smiled, his softest smile, spoke his sweetest when he was with her. She was his angel, his one, his Queen. "I'm taking you away Rose." He said, his mind bringing back his plot. "Will you come away with me?"
He asked this with a more quiet tone, he didn't know who'd be around, his nose was clogged up with mostly teh smell of these flowers. He only had his hearing to his advantage.
"Please, please say yes. I don't want you hurting anymore, or my heart to ache. We will hunt, travel and eventually.. start a family." He felt a couple tears hit the fur on his cheeks, he didn't care. His Queen wouldn't taunt his emotions. He trusted her.

She cuddled her love more closely - her love, her King. She would do anything to keep him close. "Of course, I longed for you to take me away since we were mere cubs, my King," she told him softly.
And terribly, she wanted to bear his cubs, to just, be with him forever.
Turning, she licked his maw softly, wrapping her tail around his. "I can't bear to be away from you again," she told him honestly in a whispered voice.

Oh the power she gave him, he felt deliciously alive. "My Queen.. forever. My Queen we will never be apart." He pressed himself right close to her. Needing to know, via warmth, that she was really there. Really agreeing to be his until the end of their time.
"I will protect you from all harm, love you til the day I die, give you a family we can love, and care for you as best I can." He vowed. His tone stronger, to make it more sincere for her, and create a tone she could lean on.

A bright and genuine smile graced her maw. She was convinced he was the only thing that could ever make her smile. She pressed her body lovingly against his. "I love you, Kit," She whispered back.
She gave a sigh of content, brown eyes sliding closed in bliss. "Your words are so beautiful, my King, they make me feel wonderful. My heart understands, and my soul accepts them as fact. I know you'll love me, as I love you," she whispered back.
It was fact, and nothing could ever break them apart.

"I love you, more then I can say. I admit my weakness to you, you are my reason for being. You made all bad good and washed away whatever dread for life I had left." He wanted to just keep pouring his heart out, but he cut himself off before it became a few hours of things.
He smiled, and put simply as he could. "You are perfect for me, my Queen." He sighed and flopped back. "When would you like to start a family. I have been thinking about it for a long while. Giving my own cubs what I never had, what you never had. Give them a true family." He gazed at some flowers then back to his Rose.
"I want to pass our love on."

"And we shall," Rose answered quickly after he finished speaking. She could only cuddle to him at this moment, letting her love radiating though her fur, through her soul.
She gave a smile. "Our love will last forever, my King," she told him, curling herself to him.
"You complete me."

kitisho hummed a soft tune of a purr. He was more content then even heaven could probably make him. He had his Queen, he had his future, he had his life back.
"For now, I'd like to get a good sleep in with you before we hunt. or i hunt, either way I'm starving." He blabbered on a bit, eye's heavy with sleep. He hadn't felt sleepy in so long.
"I love you, my Queen; my Rose." He smiled serenely before pulling her closer to him and resting with her near him put him to sleep. Her gentle heart beat, and soft breath near his ear was enough to relax the poor cheetah.

Saccha rubbed her head against Kitisho's shoulder, a smile curling on her maw. She gave a nod. "Alright. I will hunt with you when we wake," she told him softly.
With that, she let her eyes slide closed, falling into a calm sleep, sighing contently as she finally drifted into a light sleep under the warm sun and the scent of flowers.
