Latonia paced through the lands lazily, smiling faintly to herself. Her thoughts raced this way and that, a dozen different plans springing into her mind. She considered them all, discarding some, keeping most... This would be good.. That would be fun... etc. That was usually how her mind worked. A dozen different activities she could engage in, if she wished, for the moment though... Well, she was content to wander. It was turning out the be alright in this place -the Pride Lands- she had found. At first she'd been less than thrilled to find herself here, but now that she was getting used to things. Yeah, it wasn't that bad at all... Round up a couple more friends, scope out a few guys, La might even call herself pleased to be here... Was kinda sad, actually.. Her mousey friend had scampered off with a promise to be back once she was done with -whatever she had to do... And as she wandered, La found herself missing the squeaking little shadow. Oh well, she'd be back soon enough, and until then La had to make her own fun. "Let's see here..." The lioness murmured as she considered the lands from her current vantage point. "What to do, what to do?" Trees? Ahh, the forest... Nah, demonics there... Mountains? Angels.. Hmm, that might be interesting.. The free lands. Some prey herds, a few wandering lions. "Well, you look like the best bet." She muttered at the field she stood in. "Because if nothing happens before I reach the pass into the mountains, I still have a shot at the mountains... And if I meet someone interesting before that, two points to you..." With a soft laugh, she picked up a bouncy trot and moved into the waving plains grasses.

"Damnit....Its hot."
Silver huffed, pressing further back into the shadows of a large tree. It was so hot, that her poor grunny was flopped off its usual place on her tail, and was laying half dead on the ground next to her.
What added to her hell? The fact that she was in clothes. Most lions had no worries about clothing. But her? Ohohoho she was a luck SOB and got the clothes.
She couldn't complain TO much about this place, it was growing on her. How the hell she'd ended up here she'd never know, but now that she was here, she better make the best of it right? Wasn't like she was going anywhere any time soon.
Sighing loudly, she flicked her hair out of her face when a flash of bright freaking blue caught her eye. Holy mother mary...That was BLUE. Hm, she was a clothed lioness too...
"Hi there!"

Green and blue skirts swirled with her movement, masked face turning in the direction of the sound. A greeting? From... Aha! There! A dark haired lioness with garments not too different from her own was wandering as well. What luck was that? Latonia had only met a very few lionesses in the lands, and while some of them had clothes, they weren't quite as much as her own ensemble. Though this one came close. Intrigued, she turned and moved toward the other, smiling faintly. "Hello, it's rather nice to see a kindred spirit in this place." She greeted back kindly. "A little too hot of a day for those like you and I, hmm?" She waved a gloved paw at their clothing.

Silver opened her mouth to reply to the female, but when she really looked at her, she was struck stupid. Could it really be? It was impossible...When she was cast here, stuck in the form of a lioness, she was almost certain her entire human life was lost to her... Her best friends, her love... But...That was...
"La?! La is that you? Its Silver! Oh please be my La...My best friend from my human life..."
If it wasn't, Silver might just lay down and die. She'd been so lonely, missing La and the guys...Him. God, if this was her La, she'd have hope to see him again, and she wouldn't be so lonely here! It had to be her La, peacocks and electric blue...It just had to be!

She paused, tilting her head faintly as her remark was met with silence. A.. Stunned silence? She hadn't said anything wrong, not really.. And the other had spoken first, so she knew English... Taking a moment to review her words, Latonia was fairly sure that she had replied in kind. So... Silver? "Silver, my Silver?" She gaped for all of three seconds. Well yeah, Silv had sorta poofed after her little hair experiment... Maybe on another job, since that was what the message on her phone always said.. But then, she could have called back, right? Well.. Not if she didn't have fingers. "Oh My God!" She bolted across the expanse with a laugh, rearing on her hind legs and then prancing around the other. "It is you.. It really is you! A big, cat you, but you!" She wouldn't pounce, not in their current costumes, but sitting and curling a foreleg around the other for a hug would do well enough. "If you ever run off like that again I swear I might just strangle you! Do you have any idea? Oh but it doesn't matter, at least you're here..." She glanced around. "Wherever 'here' qualifies as... And me disappearing mid-masquerade party, and a lovely party too! Gee, I wonder who will notice..."

The tears that the lioness had been holding back came through full force when La had confirmed it was her. Fat tears rolled down her face from behind those sunglasses of hers, and when La wrapped a paw around her, the normally composed female lost it completely. She wasn't alone anymore... and if La was here, that meant...
"La..." The lioness gasped out, dragging a paw over her eyes. "Are the guys here? Is he here?"
Silver gave a watery laugh, bumping her head against La's gently. "I'm sorry Lala...I couldn't help it... One minute I'm dying my hair, putting on this ridiculous outfit for him... The next I'm furry and on 4 legs! Oh god..." Silver sighed, tucking her face in La's neck. "He hates me doesn't he? He thinks I left him..."
If he did, Silver didn't think she could bare it. She'd loved him with everything she had, and leaving him, even against her will, was a pain that she'd put him through... Even if he didn't hate her, she'd put him through something ten times worse than anything she could have ever imagined... And not being able to let them all know she was ok... man alive...
