I know that half of people who have dreams end up forgetting them as soon as they wake up...but for me it's even weirder that I remember these weird dreams... =/
I know some people don't like talking about them but I just thought it might be fun to just talk about ones that are ok to share with people. =D biggrin xd sweatdrop

Ok, well I guess I should start then right?

Like this dream,

It's more of I've been playing too many games, 'dream', cause it kind of started in a building. I'm not really sure how to explain the building itself but it was like a mix between a Mall, a office building and a Hospital. I guess I was walking around and then I bump into someone who told me something, I can't remember but as I was leaving the building I remember that someone call my name, I turn around and to see it was and then continue walking out the building.

I was then outside looking for some fruits. Why? Believe it, or not, I was looking for them to feed my friend who was able to run the machine that should send us to another place. As I was running around I did notice what fruit I did gather which was a pomegranate and some strawberries. I don't remember the rest of the fruits.

I do remember while I was looking, I walked by a forest area full of holes. Some done by explosions of some type and others done by gophers. O.o

When I went back to hand my friend the fruits a few other people walk up to me and ask me what I was doing. I guess they where friend of mine too. I told them I was giving my magical friend here the fruit so we can leave but just as I was looking into the bag that had the fruit in it I heard something that scare the living life out of me... "STARS"

Next think I know everyone, including me, ran into the building and we where running around for a moment and everyone started yelling at me like, I'm suppose to do something. Next thing I know I see Jill and she calls me Chris...I look down at my shirt and say, " CRAP!"

Because now I was wearing the Stars shirt from Resident Evil.

I see a rocket get shot towards me and I end up running away from the group as I hear the 'STARS' 's guy, Nemesis, running after me... Some how I run up some stairs and go down a hall into a room.

And then I ran into a metal area, which I was glad to know it was a safe room, but just as I get there I heard the Nemesis guy right behind me saying, "STARS" I cover my mouth and pry that he leaves...

Just as I thought he would notice me, he leaves. As soon as it was clear, I left the room and started to look for the others.

Next thing I know I'm trying to look for a car so I can drive it out of the mall and get away from Nemesis as well, but first I had to go up some very weird escalators. They went up and then down.

I felt like I went on about 4 of them before I was able to make it to the place where the park cars where at. But when I got there, the gate was close. That is till one of my team mates manage to open it, but that's also when I wake up....weird isn't it?

A dream is not remembered unless one has awoken from an incomplete sleep cycle. Each cycle is ninety minutes long, then divided into five parts. The first is a light sleep, from which one may be easily woken - a survival characteristic. The second is REM, or Rapid Eye Movement, the effects of which are self-explanatory. Sleep is more productive during this time. The middle twenty minutes of sleep are those spent dreaming. Ergo, if one wakes during those twenty minutes, the dream will be remembered. The innervative properties of sleep are the greatest at this time. The following two parts are opposites of the first two, although there is no REM. As the end of the cycle is approached, being woken up becomes much simpler.

Because each cycle is 90 minutes in length, any benefits from "power naps" are non-existent. In addition, the first cycle of sleep is the most restful, and each progressive cycle becomes less efficient. Following this, one would be better served to spend two "days" per each solar day - break each day into two 12-hour lengths, and sleep for 4 1/2 hours during each one. The positive effects of this style of sleep pattern are worthwhile: more energy during times of wakefulness, as a result of more efficient sleep, and depending upon age, (an adult human may be served well enough by 2 cycles rather than 3 for each "night") more hours during which to work.

In summary, one may plan to awaken at a time during which they are dreaming, and so remember their dream.

I have had my share of strange dreams as well. For example, when I was about seven or eight, I had the same nightmare about eight times in one night. The last two were just like the first, but had some variations. Here goes: I was resting on my bed. In my room, there are steps that lead to the upper level of my house. my bed is to the side of them, so I can see who or what is going up and or down. in my dream, there was a large beast-like creature. It was standing on the steps, in the center of the staircase. It growled at me, and jumped. The beast landed on my stomach, and I went through the bed. I saw a lot of dark green as I was falling, and I felt like I couldn't breathe. Then, I woke up. This dream continued six times. Since I was so scared, I went into my parents' room. My next two dreams are like the others, but they have variations. Instead of the beast, it was my dad, with big eyes, and the the lights were on. That was the first and only time I have ever had repeating dreams like this.

sometimes dreams provide the best inspiration for when i write. of course that is due to the fact that i have had relatively interesting dreams yet they never go into the realm of nonsense. unless of course i eat mexican food the night before. in that case my dreams resemble some kind of acid trip.
