Last night something was in my bed. I crawled in and a few minutes after turning out the light, I set my head down on the pillow. A minute or two after that I felt something moving under my head and heard breathing. It felt like I had my head on someone's chest. I lifted my head up and looked at the pillow. Something scraped up against it like when you turn your head and the side of the pillow opposite my head wrinkled up. I turned on the light and tried to see what it was in my cell phone screen, but nothing showed up, so I just booked it out of there fast and slept on the couch.
Any ideas what decided to curl up with me? Think it was friendly or otherwise?

When unfriendly unworldly things linger there's the disruption of the... i think it was called the electro-magnetic field, meaning that electronic devices malfuntion. Your light didn't really malfunction assuming it just turned on at a touch. Well, not that i don't believe you, i mean i've met people who've felt this kind of thing really. But some dismiss it to the haunting of missing on someone's touch. odd really.

It wasn't a mouse. We have cats. Besides that it was too big to be a mouse, it didn't even feel like one. And yeah, it's the first time something like that's happened.

My mother's house has a spirit. He used to join one of us regularly in bed. We could hear breathing that wasn't ours. There were other household manifestations besides that, however, but a lot didn't come out until I told my mom what I had experienced and then she admitted her weird stories to me. Maybe compare notes with other house members (if there are any) - also, notice animal behavior. Example, none of the pets would sleep up in the haunted room with me and would become agitated and fearful when he would come down at night if they couldn't leave. I have to admit, though, just from this one story, I would probably say someone just likes being around you.

From what I read, it doesn't sound like whatever it was, was trying to cause any harm to you. Have you had any other sort of occurrences in your house since then?

It was me, actually. ;] I would probably sleep with a Bible under my pillow for awhile, just in case, and probably a night-light. I doubt it was attempting to "harm" you--maybe the spirit was tired of sleeping on your sofa? ;P

Yeah, they like hanging around when I'm asleep--only time I shut up, I think. XD I usually wake up in the mornings curled up with 'em.

And we don't have mice. The cats would eat them, and the cats weren't in the room at that time. Besides, whenever the cats or my one dog do come onto the bed and someone else is in it (not me), they move to the opposite end of the bed (either my side or the foot of the bed). Mostly my side...and then they make themselves fat and hog it. XD
