So, it seems to be a prominent complaint in the guild that some
characters have less-than-favorable personalities. So, I have a
challenge for people; let's mix-n-match personalities of .hack//
characters (from any series), removing them from one charac-
ter and attaching them to the "appropriate" vessel. However!!!
Do not think that it just has to be an "appropriate" vessel--you
can also attach a personality to a character to which you think
would NEVER be appropriate. Please note that the personalities
don't "switch," you are simply "copy and paste"ing one person's
personality onto another. That way you aren't left with a useless
shell. Some reasoning behind your decisions would be nice~
APPROPRIATE:
Replace Atoli's personality with Terajima Ryoko's.
Reasoning: Terajima and Atoli have similar personalities, but
Terajima is a little more headstrong than Atoli. I find Atoli's per-
sonality extremely annoying, seeing as how she is literally the
perfect stereotype of an "emo." With Terajima's personality, she
would still be blissfully naive, but she would at least have a little
roundness in that she could also be more territorial of Haseo and
a little more self-reliant as well. Plus, I can just iamgine going into
a dungeon with Haseo, Atoli, and Endrance and the hilarity of the
Kite, BlackRose, Terajima could be replicated.
INAPPROPRIATELY FUNNY:
Replace Elk's personality with Endrance's.
Reasoning: HAY. It could happen. Both Elk and Endrance are alleg-
edly in LINK, so who knows? Endrance could switch back to Elk and
still have the same personality as his creepy older self. How weird
would that be? "Oh Kite~ I'm sooo happy~ I'm not used to receiving
'presents' from people *wink wink* Allow me to repay you... <3"

Oh lord, this could be hilarious.
I would love to switch Haseo's personality with Piros the 3rd. Just imagine - "Shino!" *epic pose 1* "I'm going to" *epic pose 2* "save you!" *epic pose 3*. Oh yes, and include the music.
Haha, or how about Yata with Mecha Grunty's personality. "Feed me chim spheeeeeres to activate the Serpent of Lore!"

Appropriate?:
Mimiru -> Alkaid: Honestly, I liked Alkaid more while she was still "HASEO IS A CHEATING b*****d GRR" more than sudden "OH TEEHEE ILU HASEO." So maybe if she was still pretty bitchy, her personality wouldn't seem to implode upon itself.
For the sake of my poor sense of humor:
Hiiragi -> Yata: DEM HIPS SCREAM "FABULOUS," C'MON GUYS. Just imagine it. "Welcome... to the Therpent of Lore, my darlingth~" Except he'd be all "AURA AURA AURA" instead of "LORD THAKAKI"
Moonstone -> Ovan: Creepertastic + completely silent = hilarious and possibly restraining order evoking.
Noble Grunty -> Tsukasa: Potentially ruining all of //SIGN, maybe, but MON AMI.

As in, you would give Negimaru's personality to Bordeaux,
making him suddenly a psycopathic, bipolar maniac.

The Slate Scholar Naota, we are copying and pasting personalities, not bodies.
As in, you would give Negimaru's personality to Bordeaux,
making him suddenly a psycopathic, bipolar maniac. oh personality mixing now i get it; i'll edit this post with one of those

I agree with most of those, but that would completely ruin my beloved, perfect Tsukasa (<3 <3 <3) Hm...what about...Oh god Hiiragi and Azure Kite. That would totally change the series. Hiiragi would be all, "Ahhhhhhhhh" like a creepy zombie (Which would totally change his role), and Azure Kite would be a flaming gay when doing data drain, and all the time. (ACTUALLY, that's a really funny image in my head. Azure Kite would be an excellent flamboyant villain. Maybe then he could finally marry Haseo.... ;D) Course, then again that could completely clear up the misunderstanding between Azure Kite and Haseo and completely ruin a good part of the series, but still. It would be funny to see Azure acting that way. I still want his arm.

REMEMBER: As stated above, we are not switching personalities;
we are simply "copy and paste"ing personalities from one character
to another. REPEAT: NOT SWITCHING.

I love Yata as Hiiragi. He'd be all creepy super ghei on all of Raven.
Jeez; Raven would be a sausage-fest for Hiirata--Youve have Haseo
in skimpier clothing at every turn of the story, Kuhn, Endrance (girl-
talk, DONTCHAKNOW), Bo (Loli-fetish), and Ovan (technically). The
only girls are Atoli, Pi, and Saku. He'd be in feitsh heaven.
Okay~
How about some
Switch Saku's Personality with Elk, and switch Bo's personality with
Endrance.
HO s**t. You'd have both Saku AND Bo in love with Haseo (and
Mia coincidentally), but they'd handle it in different ways; Bo would
be the creepy ***** and Saku would be all subtle and inncocent.
YOU'D HAVE A UKE AND A SEME ALL IN ONE.
(even though Saku is a girl, BUT THAT'S IRRELEVANT.)
