Hidden away below the frozen lake which seldom shares it's location with the world as the snow covers the lake just as well as the stone Lies the headquarters of the Clan Black SHadow. This place is normally cold as training one's body to endure harsh conditions was a requirement The Few entrances all result in long winding tunnels in case of discovery. The cavernous building itself lays carved into the lake bottom. Most of the lodgings are spartan as Delfian kept things pointed always toward the one purpose of the Clan. Taking life is the purpose of all lives. Thus through the deadly traps and massive amound of disappearances in these particular mountains provide the Nicname to this area The Devil's Proving Ground. It is said that anyone to survive long enough to set foot through the doors of the entrance chambers would be welcomed as one of the clan. This has never happened without Invitation.

Ophidion Basilisk Daragann "Seventy-three, Seventy-Four, Seventy-five." These were the words which ecoed through the vast cavernous expanse of the weight training rooms which were toward the central compound of the proving grounds. The owner of the words was a lean bare chested figure who was currently hanging from the carefully constructed niche in the ceiling used for hanging sit ups. Two weighted bracelets hung around His wrists and Soon his count would reach eighty and his workout would be complete. Even while he trained his body however, his mind continued to wander toward his youth. The family who had nearly killed him, that night when everything burned, the girl. And swiftly he forced his mind back. He could not drift far, not here not any longer. The clank of the weights and the echo reminded him of how empty this place normally was after a successful mission. "Eighty-nine" He'd continued past his normal regimen, distracted by his own musings. At Ninety, he lifted himself from the niches and lowered himself to the floor. AIt was then that his mind rang with the voice of his leader. "I've something which needs to be delivered Ophidion, prepare for your arrival in Elexair." And with that Ophidion Knew what he had to do, soon he was dressed and then He started off headed toward the central Chamber, his Grand Chamber was the most open area in the entire Lair where a Pillar of Crystal Shards pulse and flow constantly with the dark purple Aura of their Master. This was the core. Basking in the radiant purple lihgt he'd almost forgotten about the ten seconds he had to disarm the booby-trap which required activating a complicated set of switched almost simultaneously while remaining on a pressure plate located upon the altar which stood before the chamber core. Opkidion deactivated these in his usual way by swiftly launching his barrage of hand honed throwing needles directly into the handily carved niches which littered the surface of the chamber walls. In the end nearly every eyball in the grotesque murals had been pierced, save for three. Delfian's third eye. And the two which also would trigger the trap. When he had finished he softly spoke the words "All done Delfian." Thereby prepairing to retract each needle by the tiny nearly invisible thread which had been carefully crafted into each one, and pulled them up into his sleeves. "Send your package." And there upon the plate he stood carefully back from the arrival area.

Telnith | Dareis | Gallagher [Just doing a quick post, though I may add more to it tomorrow provided Shimo doesn't reply with Ophidian by then] ^^'' -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Telnith didn't waste a beat, and the moment she realized what had happened, and had ventured a guess she assumed appropriate, that the green-eyed man before her was waiting for her. That man! She thought angrily in the back of her head as she ducked and bolted forward, slipping by the man. Has he had this all planned out?! She was of coure referring to Delfain, and it would be of little amazement or surprise that she would think him capable of such things, simply based on the series of events that unfolded around her where he was concerned within the past day. Had it even been that long? She had lost all sense of time, and what with all that had happened, she was surprised she hadn't had a breakdown. Still, she was mostly concerned as to why Delfain went to such lengths to own her as a slave. Or was there something else? Did he do this often, picking out playthings and then disposing them once he found them joyless? This was all lost by Telnith, and as things stood she could hardly care. She had taken back what was hers, and would now proceed with her original plan. Get the hell out of there.
Turning sharply down corridors, all of which were huge and rather carvernous. She wasn't sure if the man from before, who seemed to have been waiting for her, was pursuing her or not, but she had a feeling that the last luxury she had was to look back. In fact just in the three turns she had made, she had been forced to stop once and use her powers to deflect and teleport a short distance away as large pikes broke from the wall and nearly impaled her. Why am I not surprised by that? She had thought at the time, finding such a trap fitting for him in a place he may very well call his humble abode. Continuing onward with great vigor, she came to an abrupt stop, a instinctive feeling warning her not to proceed any further. There's something before me... She thought, staring hard at the air before her.

Ophidion Basilisk Daragann Like a snake after the first bite had been delivered, Ophidion lazily pursued the girl following her by the trail of rather obviously triggered traps. "Damned Lilith for cutting the cursed ropes." Ophidion hissed into the empty tunnels. He'd been alone in the proving grounds for at least a day now. the others having gone to celebrate a victory in their usual secretive ways. He'd never asked them about it, nor accompanied them. though the blood which they wore normally upon their returns was clearly from deflowering some last survivors before they took their last breaths. Sometimes after. One Shadow in particular had always made Dion's skin crawl, despite the respect he'd had for his clean kills. He was a true necropheliac... and normally his chamber was filled with stuffed and preserved body parts of various shapes sizes and purposes. No one ever asked his name, they just called him bones. Ophidion distracted himself with these thoughts momentarily as he traced her steps. Delfian'd picked a lively one this time, with power to match. Ophidion watched the faint footsteps left by the child as they'd diassppear and start feet to one side or the other. Dion knew why he'd picked this one. However finally it had dawned upon him where the girl had decided to run off to. The Lair. Casting off all side distractions Ophidion quickened his pace hoping with all hope the girl hadn't run into the end of the chamber yet. The last thing Dion wanted would be for Delfian to beat him to a pulp for allowing this recent girl-thing to so quickly find herself fed to the monster. Ophidion hated dealing with it too, as the creature was quite good at killing things, people things...

Stilrak Jaggure "Feral creatures hunt in packs." It kept it's breathing shallow this creature was one of the five of its kind which Delfian had somehow managed to wrestle into submission. The natives who used to fear them called them "Stilrak Jaggure" the silent hunter. It clasped to the ceiling and was preparing to drop onto its prey, the girl who had appeared suddenly and run deep into their lair. Delfian hadn't sent them food for a while. Which made them, to say the least, irritable. This single Stilerak was however biding his time, they seldom struck alone and soon at least three more of the five would be joining the party and that's when the fun would begin. Stilerak Jaggure, much like the Black Shadow always killed quickly and cleanly, the armored skin which ran over their skulls and down their back blending into their surroundings quite well in these rocky cavernous tunnels. It kept it's tail firm against the ceiling including the sharp bony appendage which fanned out at the tip, not particularly heavy, but edged with a razor sharp row of tooth-like scales. [This is a group of NPCS so anyone can post for them, but please try not to kill them off too easily, after all there are only five left XD]

Telnith | Dareis | Gallagher [Does this include Telnith too? ;D] -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------At the sound of movement, she turned her head to the way she had come and she knew that the person from before had pursued her. I shouldn't be surprised, but he could have stayed away a little while longer! She thought to herself, turning back and preparing herself. In the time that she had seen him, she had got the same feeling from him as she had from Delfain. There was a clear difference, but the scent of blood that was upon him was just the same. The eyes they had, cold and calculating, were no different from one another. Inhaling a breath of air, and staring as far as she could until she could see the other end of the hall, she took a step forward and with it teleported. Fppt~ Stepping lightly down, she turned her head looking in both new directions of the T intersection she had reached. Both spoke danger to her, but as she felt for life presences she could sense that in one hall there was four, the other one. Better take my chances with one. She thought turning her head left, in the direction. Still gripping the necklace, she quickly tied it around her neck and placed it under her shirt so the crystal rested against her skin. Whatever it is I'll kill it if I need to, him too if I must. She thought, referring to the green-eyed man. Reaching out and seeking power from the crystal, feeling it and taking it in, she stepped forward and again and teleported once more, getting further away from Ophidian and closer to the Stilerak the beknownst to her was waiting for her...
Teleporting consecutively drained her energy, but after a while of moving deeper into the labyrinth-like structure that was the Proving Grounds, as she thought of it, she decided that she was far away enough from her pursuer that she may rest. Or so she hoped, she was unfamiliar completely with the ways of this place and it's inhabitants. Secret passage ways were unknown to her, and since she was just taking random turns she wouldn't be surprised if she were simply moving in circles. The thought, however, was very distressing and she tried not to dwell on it. After a while of running, travelling down a passage that seemed to have been continuing onward for a while, she stopped at the feel of a gush of air. Air? She thought, raising her arms and standing completely still so to judge the direction. From behind? She turned and walked back a bit, still feeling the currents. To her left, was a large opening in the wall that was just the right size for her to crawl in. Staring at the hole, her eyes having adjusted nicely to the darkness, she turned her head in both directions before poking her hand in. Closing her eyes, she imagined a small light, and in an instant there was a small orb of light that illuminated. The sight she saw made her fall back, and though it lasted but a second the image was burned forever into her mind. What she saw were piles of bones, corpses, and the mutilated limbs of bodies. How she had not smelled the scent of rotting corpses was beyond her, but she realized just how dangerous of a place she is. I shouldn't have gone this way! She scrambled to her feet and made to move forward, but not before receiving a sharp blow to the side by something hard.
Crying out, she was thrown against the opposite wall of the passage. Her head had collided hard with the stone, and though she didn't lose conscious she saw stars. And before she could either move or teleport a short distance out of danger, the Stilerak had leapt from the ceiling and onto the ground, it's tail moving lithely through the air and lashing out, the end of it's tail effectively leaving a gash across her back and drawing blood. A lot of blood. Gritting her teeth, not wanting to make any more noise then she had, Telnith quickly focused her mind on a single task. To get the hell away from the thing that had attacked her. Move. Looking forward, she leapt forward and with it disappeared, reappearing again a good distance away from the creature. A good distance, but still far from safe. When Telnith looked back she saw that the creature that had attacked her was gone. Where did it- The thought was cut short, and as soon as she felt it's presence behind her she teleported once more.
Damn it all! She swore, whirling her head around and catching sight of it just before it moved into the darkness. It's dark body blending in with the shadows and becoming invisible to her eyes. At this rate I'm going to drain my energy! She thought, eyes searching the darkness and prepared to retreat once more. She was tempted to illumnate the cavernous hall with balls of light, but to do so may have drawn unnecessary attention. She recalled, even then, that she had felt four other presences like this one. Plus with the man that's six, could he be in control of them? Or are these things pets and I'm just a snack for them? All while... the wound on her back continued to bleed, her blood dripping down from her body and onto the ground. The wound itself was tolerable, but the amount of blood she was losing would steadily increase. Even with her concentration she would slowly begin to become lightheaded, and with the amount of blood she was losing, tracking her would be an easy feat. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ophidion Basilisk Daragann Blood, plain and simple, nothing gathered the attention of the Proving grounds than that smell, fresh blood which has not yet had a chance to ferment into the wine of death. Ophidion muttered a foul curse under his breath as he suddenly realized how far the fool had run. And though he was not far away he could tell that to try to get to the girl in time would truly be a challenge. Yet fortunately the girl's abilities were such that she managed to avoid the death dealing blow from the first strike, instead becoming greatly wounded and clearly an easy target. Dion's ears rang with the clawing of the four others who were just as aware of the smell as he himself. And Delfian wouldn't deal with them as harshly. "Einder! Ik waarschuw u kuun verder kohnt!" Shouted the voice as he towered protectively over the girl who Ophidion predicted would soon pass out if they couldn't get her out of there soon. The voice was firm and cold the voice of a killer, the only voice such animals would think twice about disregarding. However now was not the time to intimidate the girl. Ophidion had by now pieced together that the girl had the ability to teleport and very carefully stood between the Stlerak and slave daggers brandished defensively, in a low and surprisingly gentle voice Ophidion spoke to the girl. "If you wish to live long enough to see daylight again, do exactly as I say." The words were clearly not an order, and there was a slight warmth to his tone. If not clear before, now it could be said that he was certainly not the same man as his leader. "That crystal around your neck, It seems much like the one at the heart of the arrival chamber. Focus on that distant light girl and take us both there." He paused slightly glancing behind himself his green reptilian eyes watching three more of the creatures headed toward them. but only three of them. Ophidion tried not to allow his voice to waver. "Lest they change their mind and disregard my warning." Dion honestly hoped that the girl would have enough sense to not forget him when she carried herself back to the entrance chamber, because whether she knew it or not, The trap was still there waiting for her, and in her current condition, he doubted she could survive it.

Suddenly the creature whirled around waiting for the female creature to bleed out onto the ground so that she could become a morsel to be shared. However, The green eyed creature appeared with great stealth and brandished a weapon which smelled of harshest venom shouting out "Stop! I Warn you come no closer!" An order which the Stilerak took no pleasure in mulling over. Alone the chances were high that it couldn't overpower this adversay to get at it's food, but its brothers were coming, they smelled the kill, and this was their territory, not the green eyed monster's. Pacing back and forth the creature released a long and sustained hiss of violent frustration. [Lols, I doubt Telnith'd be as fun as an NPC XD]

Telnith | Dareis | Gallagher [I dunno, controlling someone with telekinetic powers would be pretty fun. ;D I was just afraid of killing one of them within a post and getting scolded, which was why I was asking if this rule applied to her or not. ] -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If only I could get close enough to... no, this is nothing I have ever seen before I don't think I would be able to locate any of it's nerves. Telnith was contemplating now, as her eyes searched the darkness for the predator, how best to kill the creature. Running wasn't an option, as the years of lacking proper food and nourishment had made her physically weak. Mentally too, and the most likely reason why her control with her powers was so limited to what it was. Had she been trained properly, and was in good condition, seazing the creature and killing it would have been a simple task. Had she the stomach for killing that was, which was something she had yet to find out. In the end, the most she could do was sit and bleed, her consciousness slowly slipping from her control as the loss of blood made her head light and eyelids heavy.
The man's sudden appearance and booming voice jolting Telnith back to consciousness, having lost it for a moment despite herself, and stared up at the man who stood before her and having spoke to the creature in a tongue she was unfamilar with. At his command she nodded her head, understanding now that the best option, as of the moment, was to listen to what further words he had to say. However at his command she shook her head, quickly explaining as best she could in a quiet voice. "I have never achieved a teleportation that far, my max limit has only ever been fifteen meters!" As she spoke she saw that it was the best option, and from the way he stood defensively with his daggers, she understood that they were fine with just the one. Yet she recalled clearly the other presences she had felt, back-up for this thing possibly. It listened alone, intimidated by this man? But would he be able to hold his own protecting her against five? Without her how well would he fare? The other problem was, she had never teleported with someone else before. I have no guarantee that this will work... She told herself, completely unsure if she would have the energy to take them both.
Reaching up and grasping the man tightly, her arms around his waist. Squeezing, she closed her eyes and focused on her most vivid memory of the room, in the short time she had allowed herself to examine the chamber. Seeing the room and it's crystals, she felt herself reaching out to them, seeking them and their warmth it seemed she could feel. The crystal around her neck began to glow itself, pulsing and taking on a warmth that matched with that of the ones in the chamber. Focusing her mind on the chamber, she felt the sensation of teleporting and the familiar shifting feeling of her body moving through space. To us it would be a feeling of being in a vehicle that's accelerating, for just a split second. When the feeling passed, she opened her eyes and saw that she and the man were in the chamber. Though she felt instantly relieved, the feeling of danger had yet to pass. Why? She wondered for a second, thinking that maybe she would have been better off leaving the man behind to fend for himself.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------[Hm. I'm not too sure what the trap is, so you have my permission to... well do whatever, the trap can go off and "get" her, if that's how you want things to progress that is. We'll just say the crystal protected her. XD]

Ophidion Basilisk Daragann Dion doubted that the girl would consider listening to him and found himself quickly surrounded by the five silent death dealers and soon was prepaired to defend himself knowing he'd never have been able to defent the girl against all five. Then as her arms wrapped around his lower body, the Stielrak Jaggure sensing their meal was preparing to flee, swept forward with incredible speed. It didn't matter as soon the two were bathed in the warm light of the crystal pillar. Ophidion's face showed that he was completely impressed that she'd managed such a feat. As he'd spent so much time studying the organic flesh he could almost instantly recognize the limitations or inhibitions of a body. Regardless, he instatly recalled the nature of the room which they had found themselves in once again. They'd once more triggered the trap and Ophidion had to once more disarm it before the thousands of poisoned needles filled the air and killed them. Taking a firm stance and pretty much ignoring the girl's current situation He set to work, eying his targets in moments. Ophidion deactivated these in his usual way by swiftly launching his barrage of hand honed throwing needles directly into the handily carved niches which littered the surface of the chamber walls. In the end nearly every eyeball in the grotesque murals had been pierced, save for three. Delfian's third eye. And the two which also would trigger the trap. When he had finished he softly spoke the words. It was at around this point in time he'd wished their master hadn't been do defensive. However with that chore taken care of, he turned to assess the girl's wound. " Tell me child, how do you feel?" He asked in the same warm voice he'd used before when giving her the instructions primarily to ascertain wether or not she'd passed out yet from the blood loss. Congratulations and rebuking would have to come later.

Telnith | Dareis | Gallagher -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Exhaustion overwhelmed the child, and she fell to her knees and placed her head in between her hands. Her eyes were shut and she desperately wished to go to sleep, and wake up to find that she was still working in the mines. Somehow, that place seemed less stressful then the nonsense she had to put up with upon this day. The blood flow had slowed down, nearly stopping, and the cut had been made so cleanly one would probably need to simply wash the slash and apply something over it so the skin may grow and heal over itself.
Her mind, however, was a different matter, and having used up much of her energy plus more from having teleported a distance that should have been well beyond her reach, it was safe to say that when she woke up she would have a headache worth making a dragon furious. As of now she was merely spent, and though she remained conscious and awake there was no telling just when she might pass out from sheer exhaustion. And despite herself, Ophidion's words soothed her, not used to hearing such a warm tone in the past years that it seemed almost dreamlike. Reacting to the voice, the young girl leaned forward as if to lay her head against him and go to sleep.
Atleast, until she remembered just who she was resting her head upon. The memories of the illusion Delfian had put her under sprang to mind, and the oppression she and the other slaves were put under suddenly became clear. Instantly she pushed him away and staggered to her feet, eyes glaring at him somewhat feverishly. I shall be wonderful once I am away from this mountain and know that every one of you damned Lilith's have been put under justice! She thought viciously, fist clenched tight and the urge to use her powers and render him useless strong. And yet she didn't, she knew that if she were to survive she would have to rest her mind, as she was under enough stress as it was and... even if she killed this one, there was no guarantee she would accomplish anything.
Sighing, she collapsed to her knees once more with her eyes shut and leaned forward. In a few moments the young girl was unconscious, and the crystal that was glowing dimly moments before slowly died down until it no longer resonated. She remained alive, no doubt, but the crystal had made it's choice to go dormant until it felt her need for it's power once more. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ophidion Basilisk Daragann Without a reaction he watched the girl sink into his warm voice and then rapidly withdraw. For a moment he began to laugh to himself very softly, in a genial manner, because he'd remembered how he was "recruited." As a matter of fact, most of the Black shadows hadn't exactly chosen their path. The path had chosen them. Just as Telnith had been chosen. Delfian however watched her fade into unconsciousness. it was then that he knew he could act without causing her any further harm due to her struggling. From a careful sleeve pocket he lifted a cyladar with a medical ointment crafted of his own design which, as a combination of one of his many toxins and various naural and artifically raise herbs created a thick paste which encourages the body's natural reaction to such wounds and spikes the immune system to react with incredible quickness increasing the rate at which red and white blood cells were generated by the body, encourages the body to reject the dead cells and encourage the rate at which cells rebuild the lost tissue. He slathered this paste upon the open wound, envying the fact that she was unconscious for this part, because the effect of this first application, before the skin had enough time to turn of the pain, has been described as dousing the effected area with hot oil, lighting said oil on fire, waiting until said burned flesh blistered and popping said blsters with rock salt and vinegar. The description usually ends after this point because afterwards most subjects are already under. This stuff works wonders, but damned if it's practical to use in battle half the time.

Telnith | Dareis | Gallagher -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The respite was cut short by an intense pain that forced her from her exhausted state. Eyes flying open, Telnith released a soundless cry of pain and pushed away from Ophidion. Her hand instinctively went around to her back, feeling the wound, and came around to see a mixture of blood and some odd substance that she quickly assumed to be an ointment. SOME OINTMENT! She thought, even the voice in her head sounding as if in pain. Hurriedly, she wiped the pointment on her pants, not wanting to have it and her blood on her fingers in fear of the small nicks and cuts on them also receiving the excurciating pain. Glaring up at Ophidion, she took the time to finally scruntinize him, having hardly given herself any time the previous times she looked to him.
Even from his crouched position, Telnith could tell that the man before her was tall. His hood proved a problem in seeing any of his facial features, but Telnith could make out the dark curls that fell freely from the inside of his hood. She could also see the sparkling emerald like eyes, that made her look at them in both awe and fear. For as beautiful as they were, she could feel something inhumane about them. Thinking about it, any man connected to the Lilith or Delfian must be inhuman. No sooner had she thought that, the pain intensified and her head fell forward, and her hands tighted into tight balls. As she slowly grew accustomed to the pain, she held her heat up to look at Ophidion with feverish eyes. Reaching out with her mind, she spoke to him. Who are you? Had she the energy she probably could have taken in his memories, but doing so would have been dangerous. She had been warned against such things, because by doing so you absorb their memories and risk losing yourself. It was a skill reserved only for the eldest of their race, that is to say if anymore of them remained. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ophidion Basilisk Daragann Ophidion smiled knowingly at the girl's reaction, that she was not so easily rendered senseless was indeed a noble attribute. And the fact that pain returned her to her senses an even more pleasant surprise. She seemed to not fight the ointment once she had learned it was there, Dion however passed this off for the fact that he heard her speak to him as only one other person ever had. Master Delfian. He carefully hid any signs of surprise and replaced it with his continued lackadaisical smile. Laid back and cool. He was glad the girl didn't reject the fact that the ointment was intended to help her, which meant he wouldn't have to demonstrate it for her a sign of good faith. "I am Ophidion Basilisk Daragann, master of poisons." As he and spoke, he lifted back the cowl which had obscured his face. "And currently, I'm the one person keeping you safe during your visit to the Hive of the Black Shadows. But you should get some rest. With your permission I would like to carry you to the infirmary." He paused to await a reaction, the girl was no longer a slave Delfian had made it clear that anyone who managed to enter these walls was to be treated with respect as an honored guest. However if they were to leave with ill intent, the Shadows would dispatch that traitor on sight. Ophidion knew only one exception to this rule, and still hadn't the recklessness to ask Delfian about it. If she were to grant him the permission, he would lift the girl and carry her by looping his arms bneath her knees and around her shoulder, the ointment by then would have coagulated with her blood to form a thick resinous exo-skin preventing any tearing of the wound. Much less messy than stitches.

Telnith | Dareis | Gallagher Shimo you have used a great word, and one I have never seen before. XD -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Ophidion... She thought, the connection still between them, however her own thoughts were focused on what it was he had sad. Keep her safe? For what reason? More so how can I best trust this person, who is obviously in employment with the man who bought me and is in leagues with Raigon? These questions and more rolled around in the young girl's thoughts. Is it possible, that I am not a slave as I thought? If not a slave then there is little I could be... Her expression was stiff, eyes staring hard at the floor before Ophidion's feet. In the back of her mind, the girl considered the possibility of having been recruited to be trained. Yet the idea was so foolish she would have laughed at it had she taken it more seriously. It was dismissed, along with many other ideas, and when she finished her thoughts she decided that it would be best to wait and see what became of her.
Eventually she looked up, expression loosening some but eyes remaining hard. She nodded her head, and moved forward and cautiously towards the person before her. I accept... She told him, though in reality she was against the idea of being carried. She had two legs for a reason, and they were meant to be used, though she had often daydreamed about one day being able to use her powers so she could levitate instead of walking. No! That aside! She thought, shaking the idea out of her head, it was also because being carried made her feel weak, and it was embarassing. Even if the two were alone, she would have liked to avoid being seen being carried. Still... in my own condition I am in no position to argue, and I don't know these halls or the things that inhabit them. This is the wisest decision.
