♥○☼◘Semblance◘☼○♥
Semblance is known as The City Of Origins. It is said that every idea for a story was said to either be born in the town or inspired at hearing the town’s name. But its history isn’t all that happy. Long ago, about…120 years, Semblance was just your small average kingdom. The people labored in the fields and in shops, while the rich lazed about their houses, mansions and of course the king sat proudly in his castle. Of the rich folk, lived a wealthy young man who was forced to marry someone he did not love. As the his first year of marriage progressed, he began to grow fond of the maid..too fond. Their passionate affair lasted four years with no one ever knowing, until she came to him with the joyous news of her pregnancy. At first the man rejoiced for his lover, he went to his father to tell him that he was going to wed the woman and divorce his wife. Furious, the man threw the woman out of the mansion and told her that her son did not want the b*****d child and spread a rumor throughout the city that she was an evil witch and none should shelter her. Keeping the man locked up in his room, the father made sure that the man would never lay eyes on the woman or his child. As the woman grew closer to her conception date, she franticly went from house to house; looking for someone who would help her during birth…but it was too late. The baby was born but had gotten sick. The woman, in pure anger cursed the town, and vowed that one day she would have her revenge on any descendents of her lover as well as the townspeople who denied her child life. That curse held her final words.
Now, in the year 2009, Semblance is still a quiet town who rarely gets any visitors. The residents are close and the people get by, by helping one another out. They still continue the practice of magick and hold fighting contests every now and then for the towns amusement. It truly is a peaceful town.

Arlene Turther Silently, the woman stood and looked at the area around her. "What is this...I thought I had died." No...I've restored your body. It is time you took your vengeance out on the poor souls of Semblance. Just as you said you would one hundred and twenty years ago. You'll see that I've given you some...assets...The woman's golden eyes searched for the misplaced voice throughout the darkened room. She held up her hand and sparked a small flame. Smirking, she turned around and went to find some fitting clothes.

Kyo Bell
Kyo walked through the path in the forest that lead to the main fair grounds. It was the day of the Holy Festival and the weather was nice clear. Nothing could possibly go wrong today. The boy sighed as he turned around to see that the brown haired man had stopped once again to stare off into the distance. The man was from far away but came from the town's oldest family. Kyo felt obligated to lead him around and familiarize him with the towns customs...after all...the man was His (not referring to Kyo) younger brother. Smiling the young summoner grabbed the other's wrist and lead him through the forest.
"This is a sacred place for the people of Semblance. It's roots drive deep into the very history, in fact, it's beauty is supposedly why the founder decided to start the city. Because of this forest, Semblance, The Great City of Orgins, was established. You got to admit, it is a bit romantic looking don't you think?"

Fen LuyenFen followed slowly behind the blond as he was drug along the path. He hadn't been and Semblance sense he was a child...and when he returned he had found all his family had mysteriously vanished without giving him a notice and that his brother had gone missing months before. The only person that seemed to have any idea who he was, was the blond boy who had shown up to greet him on his return. "Uh sure..." he said as the two approached the mouth of a clearing. Kyo Bell
Kyo laughed and gripped onto the other's hand, intertwining his fingers with the other's out of habit. Smiling he looked out at all the food boths and carnival games that were set up. 'Oh! It's Seven! She's my best friend here...although she is sort of quiet. Let's go say hi!" The boy began to frantically wave down the black haired woman.

DiDi was setting up her booth for the fair. The air was crisp and clean and brimming with an aura of happiness. She took a deep breath, savoring the moment. "This town is so peaceful," she said to herself as she continued setting up. "I'm glad I decided to come this way. Just goes to show you that one turn down a path can lead you to the most unexpected places." All around her the townspeople were setting up things for the carnival and enjoying the day. Bending down, Di placed her left index finger and thumb on the brim of her top hat to keep it from falling. She looked into a crate and her eyes fell upon a large bag filled with water. Inside it was a giant goldfish. "And you, my friend," she said to it, "you're going to be the deciding factor in who wins the prize."((I have to log off for tonight, but I'll be back later on!))

Seven stood quietly alone, leaning against one of the trees off to the side of the festivities. She really wasn't particularly fond of carnival games and the like, but she liked to look at all of the exciting colors. Her dark blue eyes scanned the clearing, the barest of smiles creeping up on her lips when she saw Kyo waving her down.
She waved her own hand in greeting and pushed away from the tree. Even from here, it looked as if he might pull a muscle if he kept on waving like that much longer. Seven straightened up her blouse and began walking that way.

Orso Bendetto leaned silently on a tree nearby one of the food booths, watching the festivities with the eye of a hawk. In a peaceful time such as this, work as a mercenary was kinda shorthanded, so he took a lot of odd jobs to pay his bills. This was one of them. Working as a guard at the festival wasn't fun, but his break should be soon. It also payed well. He quickly recognized some of the faces amongst the crowd as people he knew. He ordered himself some food and munched on it as he continued to watch.

Kyo Bell
Kyo excitedly hugged Seven and then pointed to Fen. "That is..Helix's brother..." Kyo gave her a bit of a sorrowful look that was meant to keep her quiet. "Seven! Isn't this great! I finally get to wear this hair pendant!" Kyo spun in a circle to show it off, letting his bangs dance around in the breeze. Stopping he spotted Ors and dragged Seven off in his direction, leaving Fen to look around . Sneaking up on the man he slid his finger against the side of the man's mouth, getting whatever sauce was on the and then put it into his own..."What is this stuff?"

Orso was lightly surprised at the actions of Kyo. You'd think he would learn to expect it by now. "Just some spiced meatballs on a stick." he replied. "Want one?"

There he was, selling his carefuly crafted amulets to people whom didn't understand their value or the time it took. Yet he sold them for their meager prices, bartering some but not much and often yelling at people who continued to try to rip him off, he wasn't such a good salesmen. People began to pour in and with that he smiled as he readied himself for his 'game' for the festival, at least he thought they called it a festival, mabey it was a carnival, well he didn't care. He stood up and walked in front of his stand before doing a fancy twirl. "Come one and all! Test your strength! The winner of my game shale recieve this special amulet!" He smiled as he pulled out an amulet, it came with a silver chain and silver wings along with a point faceing the ground as it dangled, in the middle was a bright red stone, in the middle you could almost see a burning fire. "This one-of-a-kind amulet gives the wearer Fire Protection." He looked about as he got some attention finaly, and now was the time for the strings that came attached.
He flaunted the Amulet's power by fireing a fireball which flew to a stratigeicaly placed bucket of water to smoulder and steam, proveing that he wasn't lieing. "You see? I do not lie. In any case, for the price of two thosand gold you can take myself on in a Duel, if you win you get the Amulet, you lose and you get nothing. Simple, yes? Well, which of you is brave enough to fight me in a friendly battle? Anyone?" He asked curiously, of corse he'd decline if the person seemed too powerful, he'd ask them to give a weaker person a chance first, most likely he'd fight a woman first just as an excuse to make everything work out.
