Needless to say I no longer have this car. It was a 1991 Ford Escort with 55,000 miles on it when hit.. I bought it for $1600 with 41k miles on it. It was some dumbass in a ford ranger. I was driving home from the mall at 5:30 in rush hour traffic and the I had completely stopped. I glanced in my rear view mirror as I always do to see the person behind me and BAMMM!!!! Hit my car going about 30mph. I then hit the car in front of me.. the car hit the car in front of them.. and THAT car hit the truck in front of them.. My front license plate and the holder it was in all said and done was under my car between my back wheels. Sold it for $400 and then got $1200 from insurance, took off and sold all the extra stuff I had had one it for another few hundred. I miss this car so much. It was paid off in perfect running condition and great on gas. I MISS IT crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying

I have always wanted a jeep cherokee like this.. My father had one years ago and then my brother had one for a few yrs. Now its my turn. I love these vehicles. very powerful and 4x4 for the winter, this thing is a tank in the snow. I have done my research with it and do all the mechanic work myself and just for fun I have called the shop for all the work that needed to be done to it (why I got it for so cheap) and then did it myself and I have saved myself over $1500 in labor alone with it. Just goes to show how much you can save by working on your own vehicle.

Thanks once I get out of college in May and get a full time job, I plan on paying off my jeep as soon as I can and buying an Escort GT from somewhere down south. Maybe put a turbo in it.. twisted
