Welcome to our World Young Warrior.

I must insist on telling you a few things before you travel any deeper.
First off I must tell you that our world is at war, always have been.

Everyone wants land, power, wealth. That's our nature to a very great extent. And as we are all Element-borne we tend to abuse our powers to get these three major factors.

However unlike what you may have expected, though we are constantly at war, we are also bound by an ancient treaty, so we have many rules we must follow when it comes to taking territory and such things, and in this message I will gladly inform you of all of them.

In this world we not only gain by war, but most of our gains and loses occur from political battles. From strategy, from behind smiling faces and backstabbing. Many treaties are also made in this time of war and they will help further your goals.

If you haven't noticed by now, each 'country' has a lot of threads in it. What's the point in having so many if only 3-4 are used? I'll tell you why. It's to keep your country alive. Once all of them are conquered, your country is officially at the mercy of whoever invaded you.

Beginning the process:
You go to an enemy thread and post
it doesn't matter what you post as long as you make it clear that you have just invaded them
Invading them means almost nothing.
You can have invaded every single area and you still have NOT conquered the area.
Why?
Because you have to EARN it

Fighting for the land:
In order to KEEP the territory you've got to fight for it
But thankfully it doesn't matter how many people you fight
it could be the whimpiest character in the whole rp
if they lose, or give up, or run away, you've earned it.
But someone has to be there to challenge you over your 'claim'

Keeping the land:
When you earn a land your element will be said in brackets in the title of the thread.
However, just because you won it doesn't mean someone else can't take it
They can earn it the same way you did
so be careful about leaving your victorious claims unguarded.

Rules to the Castle's:

The only rule is that you CANNOT invade the main castle of the country you're invading.
Why?
Think of it as the most guarded place (whether it really is or isn't)
You cannot invade their castle until they have lost every other territory.

The exceptions of the Invasion:

If you have invaded a territory and no one is acknowledging your invasion, after two weeks you will be allowed to automatically take the land. You came, you were ready to fight, and it was easy for them to see you were there and they did nothing. Therefore you are allowed to take the land from them. However the same rules of keeping the territory apply.

Now that you know how to win territories and wars let me enforce your limitations so you know what to avoid while you are battling it out.

Natural occurrences you should all be aware of...
Fire:
Will go out when water hits it
Will increase or decrease when air hits it
Will burn up plants and trees, nothing else really does anything

Water:
Will evaporate if it's too hot
Can make a hurricane with air
Can feed Earth's plants or dehydrate them

Air:
Can blow a fire out OR make it larger
Can also cut off the oxygen feeding the fire so that it dies
Can blow down Earth's creations, can't really harm it.

Earth:
Plants and trees will be burned by fire.
Rocks and other such things won't really be affected by fire unless it is at a very high temperature.
Trees can be blown over by air, but not boulders or mountains

Stronger Elements as opposed to weaker Elements:
I'm not going to give you a list of "you are stronger than fire if you are so and so". However I will ask you to remember the rules of mother nature. What tends to happen when water meets fire? Fire goes out. What happens when light meets dark? We usually end up with different shades of gray. Wind cannot blow over mountains, hurricanes cannot exist without water and wind. So please keep these in mind as the story progresses. Know your natural boundaries. But don't be afraid to push the limits either.
