Just got back from seeing it and I must say, it was amazing.
The acting was fairly good, good story line, good effects and all
that jazz. I LOVE the ending. heart

Only bad things; it's almost three hours long. ******** had to get up
to take a piss so I missed about five minutes. My friends said I
didn't miss much which is okay I guess.

The Na'iv were a liiittle hard to understand when they spoke English
but hey! That's okay with me.

I highly recommend seeing this movie, it is well worth your money.

Your thoughts?

Typical hollywood storyline, a little predictable but other then that awsome graphic's and over all AMAZING. I recommend everyone see it, it's definatly not a waste of money.

OH and I seen it in 3D

This movie was so epic, I HAD to see it twice. Worth every penny. It so didn't even feel like a three hour movie because it keeps you so entertained. So buying this on dvd when it comes out. XD

I don't care if the storyline was copied from every other movie out
there, it's still a good story to teach to people, that is if they can
think hard/deep enough about the true meaning and not just be dazzled
by the flashy colors.

DVD = Must.
During the part where Jake and Neytiri become a "mated pair for life",
the directors or whoever actually filmed the full Na'iv mating scene but
removed it from the theaters to keep it PG-13. HOWEVER on the Avatar
DVD the mating scene will be in there. I'm excited to see how they
mate. I have a feeling it'll be like that one movie with Sandra Bullock and
Sylvester Stallone, at least I think it was him. Either way, in the movie
she and someone put on these helmets and "have sex" virtually, it was
kinda funny because he sooo was not expecting that.

Either way, Avatar = Good^100

I loved it. But when I went into the theater, I had no idea it was 3 hours long rofl. I got up, checked the time, and realized my butt was fast asleep. It had a good story line, with a couple unexpected twists, and the graphics were amazing. Pretty good movie overall.

I loved the movie, the whole one with nature theme isn't something I care about though really, but it was still a great movie.

Everything glowed lol

I really enjoyed it. So worth paying the extra to see it in 3D. The story wasn't really taken from any certain movie, its a popular story told in different ways in different movies, kind of a classic story.
