Aletta trudged through the muck and water she fell into. Dang that dog for chasing her. At least the jump wasn't too bad and luckily her tail was dry but the mud was starting to dry and make her fur itch, She then searched for clear water to wade in.
she spotted a nice place but the overhang was a bit steep.
Trusting her luck she splashed in and found the pond to be elbow length and filled with little water bugs.
She wanted to chase them but instead she started to wash the mud off, glad to know that the water wasn't too cold but still gave her a chill....

Noise in the water drew Eun Mi out from the little make shift den she had managed traveling with five cubs. All together she had seven, but Eun Mi had allowed the cubs father to take two with him. There was just no way she was able to take care of more then five.
Something purple caught her eye, the cheetah crept closer keeping to the tall brush. Another cheetah? Eun Mi made sure she was well hidden as she watched.

Aletta got the muck off and made the pond a bit muddy, her paws sinking into the sand and the small plants growing on the bottom.
her tail flicked as a waterbug touched it.
"I'm gonna get you you bug!"
she then started pawing at the small prey.

Eun Mi lifted her head out of the long grass. Was she really chasing water bugs? Eun Mi shook her head and smiled remembering when she had been so childish. It hadn't been all that long ago.
The female slowly made her way down out into the open, being careful to avoid mud. Dirt was her public enemy number one.
"Why hello there," She smiled, "Hope I'm not messing your hunt up," She tilted her head to the side still smiling.

Aletta looked up and saw another cheetah
" I ate a big bird earlier until the dogs took it and chased me away."
she looked sad as she said that but at least she ate enough.
" I was washing up," she stopped chasing the bugs and get off a bit more specks of mud on her pelt.

Eun Mi gave her a small nod of approval. She could respect those who washed up. Eun Mi her self was a well known neat freak.
"Wild dog?" She tilted her head. Eun Mi had never really seen one up close. What she had seen and been "play attacked" by was a huge lion. It had scared her so bad.... she didn't like to think about it.

Aletta remembered the dogs and the funny Lion and her dinner gone.. "I got away from those stinky beasts."
Too bad it was into the muck.
" I don't wanna talk about those mutts, way are you here?"

Eun Mi blinked down at Aletta. "This is no ones territory, and Im traveling." She left out the part she had five cubs with her. That wasn't something she was gonna openly share right now.
"I heard a noise in the river and just thought I'd see what was up. Thought it might be crocodiles or maybe something I could hunt," She smiled, "Didn't think another cheetah would be down this way though."

Aletta laughed a little then thought, damn I must have caught that lions laugh.
"I didn't either, but why here?"
She wondered what led the other cheetah to this place, but was thankful that she wouldn't be chased away...

Eun Mi didnt quite understand what the other meant.
"Why not?" She finally said, "Our paths just seemed to have crossed. There was no reason for going this way other then to have readily drinkable water I suppose." She shrugged.
"What about you ? Why did you decide to bath here?"

Aletta made a sour face remembering.
" the mud was starting to dry and made me itchy, had to wash it off..."
thinking a bit more why did she goes this way?
" At least it smells nice here..."

Eun Mi hadn't really noticed the scent of the place but now that she sniffed it, the other was right. It smelt a lot nicer here then most other places. How nice.
"I guess... I didn't notice before, the smell.." She sniffed. It smelt like flowers and water mist.

Aletta sniffed again and nods.
"it smells like a a small waterfall might be nearby."
she felt the wind blow past her and it carried more of the scent.
" it's might be because there is a wind blowing?"

Eun Mi nodded.
"Must be it," She shrugged. "I don't know any other reason."
The cheetah stretched, "Well, it was nice meeting you.. sorry to have disrupted your bath. I probably need to be going now," Eun Mi smiled. She really did need to get back to her cubs. She had left them all alone.

she bolted away looking for waterfall
