So a lot of people here in the guild like art...drawing in particular.
How many here actually like to make stuff? Like crafts? Even if it's knitting, pottery, jewelry ect....things like that.
I haven't done one in a long time. But when I stopped into ACmoore and Michaels I saw all the stuff they had for making jewelry and thought it would be awesome to be able to do something like that one day. But it would be more awesome if I could learn something like making gem jewelry. Like molding and stuff. To make ones own jewelry would be awesome. heart 4laugh

I love the idea of creating stuff to actually sue, but since i started 3rd year at uni (ie the year of DOOM lol) i've not had any time or inclination sad
I especially like knitting. i'll get back into it sooner or later, i'm sure wink

I heart all kinds of arts and crafts. Right now, I'm working on a BIG project. I'm making myself a homemade plushie. I'm hopeing it will turn out o.k. I've never made my own plushie before. mrgreen

SaphireDragoWolf I heart all kinds of arts and crafts. Right now, I'm working on a BIG project. I'm making myself a homemade plushie. I'm hopeing it will turn out o.k. I've never made my own plushie before. mrgreen Oh cute!!! Will it be made after something you saw before? Or are you making your own design?

Aw...I'm not sure I know who that is.
Clay! Now that's fun too. I made a fox (and it looked awesome!). But then one day I placed it on the TV and either me or my little sister hit it off and it's leg and tail broke. ^^" So I had to throw it away.

aw yesterday my mum came back from work
(she works in WH Smith, which is one of those large-scale newsagents/stationary/bookshop things)
with a magazine set that teaches you how to crochet. Had a dvd,2 small balls of yarn and a crochet hook in it. She knew i wanted to learn, bless 'er.
Now i'll have to give it a go smile

It must be fun to work in a place like that. I remember when I was looking for a job one of the places I wanted to work in was Barnes n nobles. That would have been fun.... ^_^ Barnes n nobles here also has a Starbucks right inside it. Man that would have been awesome.... Have fun! Those how to learn books are fun. ^_^
