So I’m reading a book titled “City of Night” right now, by John Rechy, and channeling the (unofficially) Universal law of Intertextuality between every medium of expression, it had a character I SWEAR is Oliver from FE9-10 in another live in New York City.
“‘But he looked Magnificent! Like a prince! An Angel! . . . Gold brocade. Purple coat. White tights. Ah! So slender! . . . The only other person I have ever seen look quite as Elegant–in my long, long, spent life–is Lola–Lola Del Rey: She is like a queen of queens: a Beauty. She had left Hollywood in exasperation: those insipid comedies, as if a goddess had been cast as a maid! It was blasphemy. . . . An outrage against Beauty is the only blasphemy.’”
If that doesn’t sound like an Oliver statement by itself, consider this: the man who says it is obese (he never leaves his bed) with gaudy, fatty fingers, and older than he is young, living in a large, ornately decorated apartment in New York City who has a “malenurse” attend to all his business. The guy is virtually Oliver Incarnate (or rather, Oliver in him Incarnate, since this book is much older than PoR/RD).
So I was wondering, FEF, have you ever stumbled across any characters from books, movies, novellas, etc… that you’d swear were just like an FE character or vise-versa?

If you've ever watched the anime "Black Lagoon" (Geneon anime, quite good, though not as good as Samurai Champloo IMO. Take that with a grain of salt, I'm a big Champloo fan) :
~Balalaika = Female Siegell,
And the twins in that anime (beginning of Second Barrage) = Kurai's Wesley and Abigail (also twins).
Granted, these guys are OCs, but maybe there are others. I dunno.
Also, Charice (my Peg Knight OC) reminds me of Yukari from Persona 3.
EDIT: Also thinking about it, the Black Fang (at least, in its Modus Operandi) reminds me of Yagami Light from Death Note. Just the whole "worthless people deserve to die" bit, though the Fang focuses primarily on nobility.
