http://www.mhs.ox.ac.uk/steampunk/up until the 21st of Feb, 2010, the MHS Museum in Oxford is running a steampunk exhibition. me and a couple mates are planning to go, but would any local guildmates be able to make the trip? (Oxford, England- for those who don't know) i think this would be the perfect settup for a get-together like we attempted to plan ages ago. plus, its oxford, and Oxford is a pretty awesome city too. maps, opening times, etc are all on the site, and navigating it is pretty easy. cheers, ::Rob::

You can count on me to make an appearance if you go any day after January 14th (times dependent), as I shall be once more taking residence in Hertford college, which is barely a minute's walk away. It also means I've been already, and I know someone else in college who'll be interested in meeting more Steampunk types.

My friend and I are planning a trip to England during our college break. We're both off at the end of April, so we were bummed to find out the exhibit ends in February.

For me it is sadly out of reach, as I am across the pond from you lot, and even the cost of passport is at present unattainable for me.

Well, as it happens, the snow had the local Trains down... and the busses/coaches are also out for the count at the moment... so we werent able to go. it has been changed (although depending on weather, it may be changed again... sigh) to next thursday. also, since no one else seems interested, i suggest we take this to PM's now...
