Amp was laying in the snow, looking up at the sky as it seemly got darker. His tail was buried in the snow because for some reason... he liked the cold. The only thing that was showing on his tail was the shiny red ball on the end; every once in a while, he'd unconsciously wiggle it. As he peered into the sky, he thought of all the things he had seen since he had been here.... and still he didn't have anyone he could call a friend.... he was starting to give up hope.

Caldecott was out for a walk, enjoying how the snow glittered in the sunlight. It was getting nearer to dusk though, which meant that the light of the sunset tinted the snow pink and orange. Suddenly she spotted something new that was a brighter color than the snow, and shinier, too: a bright red ball. So shiny, so pretty, so round! As she stared at the unexpected sight, it wiggled slightly. She jumped a little in surprise, then her cat-like instincts took over as a smile spread on her face. She dropped into a hunter's crouch, stepping lightly on the snow as she stalked closer to the ball. As it wiggled once more, she quickly leaped and pounced on it, trying to pin the pretty red prize.

Amp yelped as he jumped up and threw her off his tail by reflex, "What in the name!?" he said as he looked to see a catish-namir, "Oh.... Hello?" he said completely forgetting about her attacking his tail. As he looked at her more, he smirked, "Your a meowth" he stated as he remembered seeing lots where he used to hang out.

Caldecott jumped back when her prize seemed to yell, then disappeared into the snow. She was sad for a moment that her prize got away before she was addressed by another pokemir. She looked up and blinked at the yellow figure. Then the bright red ball popped up behind him...attached to a tail. His tail. Oops.
Realizing he'd spoken to her, she tried to remember what he said. "Um, yeah," she responded. "And you're...um...your tail reminds me of a Mareep, but they have wool..."

Amp smiled, "I was once a mareep and a flaffy... till I evolved" he told her then wiggled his tail, "It's not a toy, sorry" he apologized as he flopped down on the snow to make a snow amphoros then gets up, "Look and angel me." he chucked, "Would you like to try, miss?" he asked as his smiled widened.

As the yellow pokemir flopped onto the snow, Caldecott stared at the ball on his tail. "But it's so shiny and pretty..." she said as she batted at it once or twice. When he sat up and asked her a question, she turned away from his tail to look at him again. "Um, no thanks," she said. "Meowths aren't really built right for snow angels. No arms, you know? You kind of have to be a biped for that."

Amp pokes her arm lightly, 'Isn't that an arm though?" he asked as he stretched then looked up at the sky, "So what brings you out on this fine cold day?" he asked with a smile as he sees some birds flying around, the sun shining brightly and the freshly laid snow on the ground.

Caldecott shook her head. "Nope, that's a front leg. See?" She flopped onto the ground and rolled on her back, where her front legs instinctively tucked up against her chest like a cat. She stretched her legs out, but they mainly reached forwards and moved very little to either side. Then she rolled back to her feet and shook some snow out of her fur. "And I's out looking at the snow. It shines so nicely in the sunlight!"

Amp smiled as wiggled his tail a little, "I don't mind the weather... though I would have to say that thunder storms are better." he told her with a small chuckle then stretched, "Name's Amp... " he told her as he wiggled his tail once more.

Caldecott's eyes were still drawn to the ball on Amp's tail, which he kept wiggling. It was so very tempting to pounce at it again, but she tried to keep her mind on her conversation.
"Um, my name's Caldecott. I don't really like thunderstorms so much; too wet for my tastes." Still she stared at his tail. Shinyyyy...
