 The Room was dark. Well, not fully dark, the only light source was from a blinking light that came from a alarm clock that read 5:59am. Which then switched to 6:00AM. BEEP BEEP! the alarm went off and a loud groan erupted from a pile of blankets that scattered around a bed. A dainty hand creeped its way from the pile aiming idley towards the alarm clock. Patting around the night table it finally made it to the snooze button. Janice pulled herself up into a sitting pose as the flash of a automated light panned through the room. She quickly shielded her eyes as the light practically blinded her....ok, maybe blinded was a exaggeration, But no one likes bright lights when they just woke up. Janice let out another exasperated groan and slid out of her sheets and towards the bathroom. Another Fun packed day, on the U.S.S Enterprise.

[Captain James T Kirk]
"You know Jim, it wouldn't kill you to eat a balance meal once in awhile.." Bones chided the young Captain.
Kirk rolled his eyes as he took a chunk out of the apple, "hrm..really? What do you have in mind?" his gaze traveled to the young woman that passed by their table.
"Damnit Jim! Stay focus for a second."
Jim shifted his attention onto his friend, shrugging his shoulders. He slacked backwards in the chair with one arm dangling off the back while the other still held the half eaten apple. "Look Bones, I know you're just looking out for me..but seriously, I'm fine..."
McCoy shifted, leaning forward, "Thats not what you were saying an hour ago..'ow ow, my head ******** hurts..' I had to use a high dose on you..I thought.." his voice trailed off.
"I know..it was a one night stand deal..and hey, it got the treaty in order."
"In order my a**..just take care of yourself.." Bones stood up from the table, grabbing his tray. "Jim, I'll be in my office...if you start-"
"-whoa! Whoa! Keep it down, will ya?" Jim snapped, laughing nervously, "I got it."
The CMO seemed to want to say more but decided better on it. He couldn't keep Jim under control 24/7. Sides, his shift was over for that. Bones was going to leave it in another person's hand.

Janice locked her door and started walking down the corridor while adjusting her hair. She had to be at the bridge in half an hour, and she still didnt have breakfast. Hoping that they didnt take all the bananna-nut muffins, she put alittle hop to her step and started to walk quickly. After 5 minutes of walking quickly she finally made a turn that lead to the breakroom. A random redshirt came out and a wave of chatter and laughter broke out of the room. The red shirt then spotted janice and held the door open for her. She smiled and quickly skipped in. Mmmm, The smell of Coffee and sweats wafted in the air. She walked over to the buffet table where she began to look for her ever-so delicious Bananna-nut muffin. Drats. All the was left in the basket were crumbs, and a half eaten Muffin. Sigh. "....Guess i should have woken up earilier.."

'Damn..still a bit of time left...' Kirk thought boredly. It wasn't time for his need to be on the bridge. It was being covered by his first officer, Spock at the moment, and he was sure his vulcan friend was enjoying himself. With a sigh, the captain sat straight up. His ears perked at the familiar sounds of heels. The scent, and of course the voice.
Jim chuckled, spying Janice at the buffet. No doubt in disappointment that she did not find her favorite muffin. His gaze settled upon the wrapped item on the table. Grabbing it, he approached her, settling his hands behind his back.
"Hello there gorgeous..did you do something new with your hair?" he smirked, "oh let me guess, you added a bit more volume to it." Jim teased playfully.
“Look, you may think I’m an a**-and a lot of people do..but here…I only took a bite…” he withdrew the muffin from behind his back, having taken the napkins off it. There was a small nibble on the top, hardly noticeable. “I knew you liked it and thought..well, ,why not save it just in case you came by here…good thing, right?”

----------------------- Nia was already in the break room. She was in the corner, munching on a chocolate chip muffin. In her other hand a mug of the special Vulcan tea. She rested her head on the wall, her glasses dropping down past her nose. Her eyes were slowly closing, but shot up when she saw those familiar shoes. "Good morning, Ms. Rand.." Nia softly spoke. She saw the Captain, giving a nod. She wasn't paying attention to what they were doing. She took another bite, yawning again as her greenish gray hues fluttered.
