The new front page needs just one more thing, but it is very important. I want anyone and everyone to draw out or describe a weapon that represents the Yami Yakuza. It can be anything from blades, guns, something old school, or something futuristic, functional, or unrealistic. On top of that, you can submit as many entries as you like. If your weapon is chosen, you will be given the award of 20k in gold and the monthly collectible.

Please post your ideas below or send them to me to post for you. The contest will be up until the end of the month or later if necessary.

I shall say it once. The Yami Yakuza is Katana. And I have no other images of the weapon for this guild in my mind.

An Katana with sharp blade and made of unbreakable material. It's handle are made of black dragon skin and and have red carvings on it.
Katana is an simple yet powerful weapon. It is fast and strong as are the elite of Yami Yakuza. It comes from the same land as the name Yakuza. It's blade shines in light representing the power of aid to our brothers. The black dragon's skin for handle represents the power with which we shall eliminate anyone who opposes us. The red carvings are to make contrast with black and show our colors. The wielding of Katana isn't as simple as for everyday sword, it requires some skills which fits to the first page text brains behind brawls. And the scabbard for the Katana are like the handle.

as for the crest it can be carved on blade or on the bottom of handle. Or as it is dice why not make mit hanging at the end of handle smile

It's been several tomorrows...how is it coming?

I would like to make some suggestions. It needs to be old school, symbolizing tradition. It needs to have both red and black colors, one shade of red, blackest of black. It should also include the Yami Yakuza crest. Preferably, but not required to be of japanese origin. Given the guilds intention, it also should have some sort of tech feel to it. Not too much, but something.

The tech feel can include anything this century, electricity, transformations, firing mechanisms, fire, anything. I would recommend staying away from anything too advanced, it needs to be two parts tradition, one part techie.

I would also like to remind everyone that it can be multiple weapons too. Please describe everything, colors, shapes, sheath if it has one, ammo, power source, every little detail.

Currently, I have my own ideas on what the weapon(s) should be. But I will keep them to myself for now. Chances are that I will mold my ideas around the submission that best represents the Yami Yakuza.

By teleport do you mean can go from one location far away to the location of the owner? Or do you mean it can act as a phase blade and swift out of matter at the will of the owner. On top of that, how would one draw that?

And to inform you guys, I have a nearly complete idea for the weapon as well. Should the weapon get good views in the mod forum, it will be the signature weapon. But since I can't win the contest, the person or persons who submitted something most like the winner will get the prize. If it would move things along, I can submit my idea to fuel some thoughts among everyone else. It might get people thinking on the right track.

Ah, that makes sense. I am ambidextrous and wield weapons equally well in both hands. What I mean is, how would you draw the fact it can teleport? I'm not saying it would have to be part of the drawing, I'm just curious if you had something in mind.
