The Metropolitan Museum of Art, known colloquially as The Met, is an art museum located on the eastern edge of Central Park, along what is known as Museum Mile in New York City, USA. It has a permanent collection containing more than two million works of art, divided into nineteen curatorial departments. The main building, often referred to simply as "the Met," is one of the world's largest art galleries; there is also a much smaller second location in Upper Manhattan, at "The Cloisters," which features medieval art.
Represented in the permanent collection are works of art from classical antiquity and Ancient Egypt, paintings and sculptures from nearly all the European masters, and an extensive collection of American and modern art. The Met also maintains extensive holdings of African, Asian, Oceanic, Byzantine and Islamic art. The museum is also home to encyclopedic collections of musical instruments, costumes and accessories, and antique weapons and armor from around the world. A number of notable interiors, ranging from 1st century Rome through modern American design, are permanently installed in the Met's galleries.

Walking up the front steps she smiled looking up at the sign advertising the museum's new Bast exhibit from Egypt. Opening the doors she walked through the metal detector and looked around a little. As she looked Felicia made sure to capture each of the camras locations as well as were the guards were. Walking to the exhibit that was her target she admired each of the pieces of art that featured a cat slowly making her way to the Eye of Bast, a large gem stone carved in to the likeness of a Bast's head. Blinking she changed the mode of the all seeing eye to check out the security of it during the day. Well not much other then a few guards during the day means the laser system and guards will be here tonight as well as the weight release triggers under the glass. This will be fun and before this night is out you will be with mommy little kitty. She thought looking at the gem on last time before moving on to the rest of the exhibit.
"I've come to deliver some bad luck...."
"....To bad you crossed a Black Cat."

Eli walked up the steps of the Museum, a huge slice of pizza half eaten in his hands. Walking to the front of the museum an employee walked up to him with a smug smile on her face, "Excuse me sir you can't bring that in the museum." Eli looked down at his pizza then looked past her. In five bites he finished off the pizza. "Happy?" He asked as he looked at her wiping the grease off his hands and mouth. Continuing to walk he had to go through a baggage check.
Tapping his foot the guards eyed him. Before he walked through the metal detector he pulled out a piece of paper. "I am licensed to carry the SIG on me, I would like to check it in and get it back on my way out." The guard looked at him with an awkward look and put his hand out. A chubby fellow the guard was, looked impatient too. Eli pulled out the pistol ejected the clip and pulled back the slide, which stayed pulled back, indicating there was nothing in the chamber. The guard nodded and allowed Eli to pass.
Entering the museum his eyes widened as he looked at everything. Just about anything in the world fascinated him, especially the Ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian Culture, Gods and Myths. He looked around wondering what exhibit to go to first. There were so many people around. So he slipped his hands in his pockets and meandered his way through the crowd, bumping past children, strollers, foreigners, a man dressed in all white, a girl with dark complexion and long black hair, a child who's 'ancient Greek' lollipop fell to the floor in which the child began to cry. "Oops." Eli said as he knelt down to the child and pulled out a $5 bill and gave it to the kid. He walked away, putting his hands in his pocket and looking about.

With her mission done and a bit of sight seeing where the cameras were, Felicia turned to leave. Walking through the guard station she smiled and waved good by before walking out the door. Wow I thought this place would have more security but that will be no fun at all guess there is always my calling card. Felicia thought with a smile, the Black Cat's calling card was a untraceable card with a black cat on one side and the name, place and time of what and when she will steal something. This is how Felicia's alter ego had become a famous cat burglar. Walking down the stairs she slipped on a pair of gloves and pulled out the case held the calling card in. Felicia had made one ahead of time just in case, she the walked into the next museum and bought a hat and a few other souvenirs before returning to the Metropolitan looking as if she was a tourist. Walking to the security box she left a blank envelope on the counter and left. Her face was covered by sun glasses and a coat and she made sure to dodge all the cameras as she left the museum once more. "I've come to deliver some bad luck...." "....To bad you crossed a Black Cat."

Eli decided to go on a random whim and check out the Greek and Roman areas. He knelt over reading the names of the only leader who had ever lead the perfect golden age. "Pericles eh? Some guy... s**t can't get done now..." He muttered. He continued to read on and it said at the bottom, 'If time ever comes to be a next golden age, it will never see the greatness that Pericles of Athens created.' Nodding his head and tilting it slightly he moved on.
Through out the day he passed through the entire exhibit and read the pamphlet "Check it, a new exhibit." He stated and began to follow the map to the new area. Only to get there it was roped off and what appeared to be the entire security staff was there. "What the..." All of the security guards motioned everyone away. Eli pushed himself to the front of the crowd being pushed away. "What's going on?" He asked.
"The Black Cat, that's who." The guard snapped and resumed his work.
"Who's that?" He asked dumbfounded.
"Who's that? Where the hell have you been? Under a rock..?" He looked the kid up and down, Eli was much tanner than a native New Yorker, "Damn Tourists... It's a thief, stealing stuff, and she left her card for us giving us a time and what object she is going to steal." He finished.
"Wow... That seams incredibly stupid. Granted, we're in the United States, but if we were in any country in Central or South America, they'd have a couple scopes on that s**t..." Eli said, kind of mumbling off a bit.
"And how would you know kid?" The guard asked with a little bit less of a serious face.
"Eh, I was Drunk down there and got dared to steal something from Chavez down in Venezuela." He responded sounding disappointed in himself.
"Really now? Haha, that's great kid, your fairy tale sound really cute." The guard muttered and rolled his eyes.
Eli looked at the guy. "a** hole, I hope your s**t get's stolen." He said walking away and checked his gun out. The clips and gun were bagged separately. Eli sat on the steps, the gun hidden and holstered. He sat there contemplating. He didn't like being made fun of, that's for sure.
Pulling out his iPhone he opened the application which allowed you to monitor CB radios (Yes, that app is real, and it's fun). He walked his way around the building and waited. He sat near the fuse box. The sign on it saying 'Danger, High Voltage.' He sat there laughing, that stuff didn't bother him. When he first learned of the manifestation of his powers, he soon learned that when he got shocked, it didn't hurt him as much. He sat there, waiting. The CB Radio app playing through the headphones he had in. When there was report coming in over it, that she was present, he'd try and create the arc between his fingers, but it'd cut through the main transistor, disrupting the flow and taking out the electronics of the museum. Problem is, he didn't know how long he had to wait, so he remained next to the box and waited.
(Hooray Revenge!)

Landing on top of the building Felicia sighed, they still don't station anyone on the top. How lame can you be? She thought checking the glass windows with her "All Seeing Eyes." Once sure they weren't rigged she would slide four thin but strong hooks to hold up the sides as she used the "Cat Claws" to slice off the hings and lock. Pulling it off Felicia would then begin climbing down into the room. Checking the room she found out the laser system was low grade. No moving lasers, no crossing lasers nothing but bars across the wall and 23 armed guards. Is that it really, how said, then again this little gem isn't as big as my normal prey so I guess its understandable. "I've come to deliver some bad luck...." "....To bad you crossed a Black Cat."

Eli sat there, he was almost dozing off, waiting so long for the CB Chatter to pick up, granted, being new york city there was plenty, but what he was looking for, it was silent in that area, that is until voices picked up on her timing. "It's almost show time, she should be here any minute now, dispatch be prepared in case we need back up." An officer said, "Roger that." And it clicked, Eli waited, he turned his music on, a short song, Blue Orchid - White Stripes, only a two minute song or so.
When it was coming to an end he switched it back to the CB radio, a little bit here and there about the thief, but nothing constant. He pulled out his SIG and shot the lock. "Shots fired? Who's shooting?" - "I don't know." - "She doesn't use a gun right?" Chatter picked up. He swung open the volt box and made an arc between his fingers, making sure he was able to get it. Putting his hand up to the transistor box he felt his fingers tingle a bit. Attempting to make that arc, it failed. "What?" he asked rhetorically. He attempted again, and again. "Why the hell..." He thought. He pulled his hand back and rubbed the sleeve of his shirt, pulled out two copper pennies and put them on either side of the transistor. He focused on sending the volt through. He closed his eyes, concentrated, and a loud snap zap and bang as the fuse box blew.
The lights flickered and struggled to stay alive, then all died. Every electronic plugged into a socket in the museum failed, cameras, lasers, lights, everything. "F*ck you guard" Eli muttered, putting the pennies back in his pocket.

Seeing the light and lasers go out Felicia sighed, now it will be no fun at all. She said dropping behind a guard reaching around front and collapsing his wind pipe with a quick chopping motion. The next three guards got hits to the stomach knocking enough wind out of them to make them pass out. With a fifth of the guards out and the lights off it was easy for her to walk over to the case. The night vision function on the "All Seeing Eye" had activated as soon as the power was cut. Lifting up the glass case she swiped the gem at exactly 9 o'clock, leaving only another card in its place. Firing the grappling hook around her wrist she was able to return to the roof. "Well with the lights and lasers off it was to easy but I'll take my prize none the less." She said with a smirk jumping over to another museum building before disappearing into the night to return home. "I've come to deliver some bad luck...." "....To bad you crossed a Black Cat."

Eli was sitting down, his head leaned back against the Museum wall. He stared up at the light filled sky, light from the city. Not the moon or stars. However though, breaking his concentration, a figure leaped from the roof top to another. "HEY!" He shouted. Trying to get their attention. Who else could possibly be jumping from roof to roof, other than the person he just helped; unless of course it was daredevil, but, everyone knows super heroes don't exist.
He jumped atop a container. Then jumped up grabbing onto a maintenance ladder. He had to scale up it along the side as the flat slate was preventing him from using the first several ladder steps. Reaching the top of the building. He saw a figure in the distance. "HEY, YOU!" He shouted to the figure assuming it was the thief he'd just help steal her prize.

Stopping when she heard someone shout she turned to deal with them. However stopped herself seeing it was not a cop. "Who are you and why should I not cross your path and deliver some bad luck?" She asked with a feline smile, that was when she noticed the man was someone she'd seen at the museum today. Luckily with the face alteration and wig it would be impossible for him to recognise her since even her eyes were different. Lowing the "Cat Claws" she waited his response. "I've come to deliver some bad luck...." "....To bad you crossed a Black Cat."

"Well..." He paused thinking of words, "I'm assuming you're the Black Cat then or whatever?" He asked, unsure if he was getting himself into trouble or not. "I dunno, a guard in there was being a douche bag, so, I kind of sort of made it easy in there by turning out the lights. I wanted revenge, but, I also kinda wanna help more." He said with a toothy smile. "Plus, I could help financially, I mean, I don't know if you thieve for profit or for fun, but, if it's for fun, I..." He began to trail off. He didn't know what the hell he was doing. But then again, there wasn't a time when he ever took thought before action, except maybe grade school."

"So your why it was so boring tonight? Great if anyone finds out my reputation will be ruined. Though if they think there's two maybe the cops will send more people, but anyways I don't need help. Besides black cat's are solitary creatures, except for their mates." Walking over to the man she kissed his cheek. "Sorry to say your not my kind of man," Felicia said as jumped back landing half way between the ledge and the man. On her face was a sly smile as she looked at the man, he was interesting to say the least. "I've come to deliver some bad luck...." "....To bad you crossed a Black Cat."

"Eh...." Eli was at a loss for words. He sighed, "Well, I'm just looking for adventure, plus, I can probably get you places where bigger prizes lie." Eli said. He raised his hand and an arc of electricity danced between his thumb and index finger. The light illuminated the area around Eli. he was hoping to convince her any way possible. Getting drunk in bars wasn't his idea of fun anymore.

"Big flashy places don't interest me unless they have a prize that I want." Felicia said with a coy smile, he was a mutant which could come in handy someday. If he was still new to his powers like she was, it be useless to her at this point to team up. "The size of the prize is not what interest me ether, any one can steal a big prize but I only steal certain things. That is how you make a real name for yourself and how you can have more fun.""I've come to deliver some bad luck...." "....To bad you crossed a Black Cat."

"I wasn't saying I could get you to places where there was the biggest prize. I can get you to places with the prizes you need, I'm looking for adventure, and you're looking for stuff to steal" He said, taking two cautious steps towards her, to see if she would do something or not.. Granted he had no skill of thievery, but he was a damn good liar and had contacts in just about every country.
