I remember Megaman Legends back in the day. That's the game I would really love them to make an up to date sequel of. That's not going to happen though. So what games do you guys want to have a sequel to.

Oh, this is a toughy..
Off the top of my head, I remember a game for the SNES called "Plok" It was a simple platformer, but I had to be torn away from it as a child. Update it for the newer consoles. Make it 3D. Keep it a Platformer. And the computer will lose me to that game.

Haven't we seen enough sequels? I feel like I haven't seen a semi-original idea since 2004. We should be begging for some new series/ideas to be put into motion.

I'd like to see a new Broken Sword game. This generation needs more adventure games.

If I like a game I want to keep playing it. Sure some new games would be nice too, but I want more of my oldies as well.

If a game acquires enough of a fanbase, I believe that fanbase deserves a follow-up.

If a game acquires enough of a fanbase, I believe that fanbase deserves a follow-up.That I can understand, but every single game that comes out? Most of the people who love game sequels haven't even played the original games, because they came out five or ten years ago. Also, sequels restrict a game from branching out in new ways. Consider the fact that there will soon be 13 Final Fantasy games, not including spin-offs. Those 12 games that could be defined as sequels were designed, not to be a quality game, but to fit and satisfy fans of the original Final Fantasy game, then Final Fantasy II, then III, etc. Too much of that will isolate the game from players new to a series. Since none of the FF games have any correlation to each other, imagine how each and every game after Final Fantasy II could have been under a different title, and had more room to stretch their legs creatively. Imagine how much more development could go into games making them something new instead of a remake aimed at a niche audience? Imagine 6 entirely new franchises, each with a sequel, that could please many more gamers. There will always be sequels, and that's just dandy. Some games truly need a sequel or even a trilogy, but now it's simply alienating new franchises from making a fair stand in the marketplace.

I wish they'd make a sequel to God Hand. It's an old-ish and pretty much unheard of game, but this is a Sony masterpiece. Too bad Clover Studios died out, they could've gone so far. D:

I remember Clover Studios! They did the Viewtiful Joe and Okami games! But now they're Platinum Games, and made Bayonetta and MadWorld. So, they're doing pretty alright.

It was founded under the name Seeds, Inc. on August 1, 2006 by Shinji Mikami, Atsushi Inaba and Hideki Kamiya, the former key members of Capcom's Clover Studio and still retains many other former members of the studio. Wikipedia Also On October 12 2006, a Capcom Co., Ltd. Board of Directors meeting resolved to dissolve Clover Studio. The dissolution occurred at the end of March 2007. All of Clover's intellectual properties defaulted back to Capcom, leaving the possibility open for further sequels. God Hand was the last game developed by Clover.
