Fireworks shoot across the back of Wembley Arena as Showdown goes live for the second year running. Spotlights shoot out across the arena as the crowd goes wild. The camera sweeps across the fans and their signs, including lots showing their hatred of The Best and others depicting heroes such as Cartwright and Jed.
Pendulum stand on the stage, cheered on by the crowd as they start to play Showdown's theme, aptly chosen as .. Showdown.

After Pendulum finished their song, the fans give off a loud cheer before some background music plays and the attention of the viewers at home turn towards the two commentators, Christian Williams and Hayley Marshall.
Christian: "Here we are at the second annual Showdown, and this year looks set to be a big one for three men, named simply as The Best."
Hayley: "That's right Christian, and Showdown will put all three men on the line. We have The Tag Team defending their tag titles against a mixed team of Harli from The Deadpool and Trevor Cash of the Age of Dominance."
Christian: "That was definitely an odd mix. If these two men beat the Champions, will this tear open the two tag teams they're a part of, or will it cause an even bigger faction to be born?"
Hayley: "It was originally a match set forward by the previous guest host, Soul Enigma, who himself has been quite busy lately. Tonight we see him continuing his bitter rivalry with the old CEO of this company, 'The Prodigy' Nuke Fusion."
Christian: "We could see a great match there, they meet in a London Brawl match. Other matches we see highlighted on the card is a Steel Cage match between the feuding Draven and Kage, a TLC match between former Venom Champion Duane Wages and the returning hero Travis Nightsky, and something that caught my eye; a First Blood match between The Deadpool's 'Blood Queen' Yuke and the other half of The Age of Dominance, Thangor."
Hayley: "We all know that Yuke is a complete nymphomaniac and we can all see that dark aura that she possesses, but what could happen when the first spot of blood emerges?"
Christian: "I guess we'll have to wait and see Hayley. There's a Relaxed Rules match between former Undisputed Champion Cartwright and another former World Champion and veteran, Jed. We will then see a Ladder Match between Kelly King and his old friend Disciple to determine the number one contender for Mike Landry's Undisputed Championship."
Hayley: "That will definitely be interesting. We then end the night with an Elimination Tornado Extreme Rules match between The Tag Team and the odd combination of Harli and Trevor Cash. That should be interesting."
