If we wanted to add the mythology theme to this, maybe we could have it be a flowere chariot where some god is selling flowers. It might be a good idea to see who the god(dess) of flowers is, or we could just do the nature god(dess).

Coming up with more art related fundraisers is not a bad thing-- nor will it seem like you are stealing ideas if your idea is similar. Even if you are stealing an idea-- if its going to benefit the guild, no problem!
The only problem that I see with non-artists trying to make art fundraisers go live is they are at the mercy of helpers-- and with many in the guild already focusing their attention on getting the bake sale in full swing it -might- be too premature. The way that I see it is-- we might want to place more focus on the bake sale until they are well stocked-- then consider a flower shop to work along side of it. However, if you already have artists who are willing to make your idea go live than please disregard my advice. biggrin

if ya come up with a list of flowers it'll help artists to pick out ideas from. and i can probly draw a few... that or i may go crazy and blob random colours and arrrange it in a way it looks like flowers. *wonders if the warp/liquid tools would be fun to do this job*

Lectern: It's a nice idea! But would it reveal a little too much about our ball's theme? I'm going to make a mule for this so we might be able to decorate it a little like the god/goddesses, and maybe dress him/her up based on that. I'll go check about this, thanks for suggesting. =D
Envy: *sob* I knowwwwww... =.= But I really hope we'll make it through. I know there are many, many artists here busy with the Bake Sale. I'm just starting early, so that if there are any artists working at the Bake Sale interested in this, at least they have more time to work on it. Also... I'll be helping to draw as well. But I'll probably scan them, and need someone to clean them up. I think I can manage a little by drawing flowers in real life. I hope. xp Thanks for the advice, however. It's down-to-earth and I'm glad there are people here in the Guild who can point them out. ^^

Just a thought-- if you do manage to get this flower shop up and rolling. You might as well keep it through spring. With the effort and such it might be great to start it off with a bang in february.. and then continue it on.

Pixi: I have the exact same thought. If the shop holds it up, I'm planning to make it last for as long as I can. I'll also be adding more flowers as time goes on, but I'm focusing on the basic ones for the festivals so far. (What do you mean until spring btw? sweatdrop Do you mean until the Ball?)

Hm. Well I can do the thread layout, but I kind of suck at drawing things.
Chloris seems to be the goddess of flowers, a nymph of the Isles of the Blessed. Just in case you wanted to use that idea. biggrin

i still have the template for the roses that were in my sig i could change the colour to which ever ya want probly. as for everything else i'll see if i can draw up a few lines for ya. also you wrote eggplant in there. you want us to draw and eggplant? like the fruit thing? O_o cuz that would be awesome lol random egg plant in the mess of flowers. XD   tell me if these work so i can make the other colours. if they dont i'll see if i can make some other ones probly.
