West Fields A wide expanse of nothing but grass. To the south are the woods, to the northeast is Carter City, and to the northwest is Carter Hill.

A tiny, golden figure appeared, scanned the area, then vanished, heading northwest.

Flare flew in from the highway. Spying Cater hill in the distance, she flew toward it, her hands glowing brightly.

And the black cat arrived on the west field, following Flare above and Truewind's directions besides.

It's possible. Truewind sent to Flare, gliding along smoothly. I don't know how else it would be able to locate its targets, without some sort of visuals.

Pausing for a moment, Truewind squinted off into the distance. We're headed northwest, ladies. Ender wants me to tell you that Sey has used one of her great spells on the robot, and that it is nearly down. Looks like we may have a fight on our hands. And with that, he made his way northwest.
