Is anyone else super excited for this game?

I feel so behind in the gaming world. Almost finished downloading Mass Effect off Steam, so I guess I'll find out how excited I am for ME2 after I play the first one.

Maybe I can beat the first one before the second one releases. ninja

I'm sure that you'll be able to.
The main storyline isn't too long.
There are plenty of side missions to do though.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to get Mass Effect 2
at its release, unless I magically acquire the necessary funds.

I don't know really. I've never played Mass Effect, but people keep telling me that I really should try it out. What is it like?

It's like a sci-fi shooter, but in an RPG form (leveling up, etc.).

You choose your character's dialogue and can form romances
with a couple of your squad mates, much like Dragon Age: Origins.
Unlike DA:O, your character actually speaks.

You should certainly try it. I think you'd like it.

It's looking pretty good so far. I wasn't expecting the level of customization either. That, and it seems the opening scene is tailored (and fully voiced) to the history you choose when creating your character. Very neat.

Sadly, my frame rate is making the game nearly unplayable so I'll have to wait until tomorrow when I get my new processor and hope that helps.

I don't think I've got a game at release for years... if ever. Not only is it highway robbery but I generally don't have the funds either. So don't feel bad.

I'm going to have to dodge spoilers all over the place until my birthday in July...

I can't wait, the types of classes have been released, and I still think I might just be a Soldier since I like having the big guns and heavy armor, though the Adept class really seems kickass.

That game will be the only reason I will fall behind on my grades. And make me close to failing Mid-Terms.
It comes out the day after my birthday, the day mid-terms start.
Oh s**t.

I can't wait for it, as I absolutely love the first one.
I'd have to say I would make love to it.

I might be able to convince my brother
to buy it for me as an early birthday present.

I want some man-on-man action with Jacob...
