I like to read biggrin A lot. But usually when I read a book, after I finish I completely forget about it. So I decided for 2010 to keep a list of the books I read so I wont forget them whee

Also I'm interested to find out how many books I read a year, and how many times I reread certain books (like Harry Potter >.>).

A third reason for this thread~ I could always use book suggestions! Because I run out of stuff to read really fast and its really annoying mad

Currently Reading: Nothing! D:

I can't re-read most books. My mind remember which of the plot which kills the fun in my opinion.

I SUGGEST some strange books:
Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac.
Thief Lord.

uh...
Umineko /shot (visual novel and weaboo)

I can suggest to you 3 books actually

One is a book Called A House. I read it a while back, and it really touched my heart, it was one of those, "When I was a kid" stories, but was more meant to be "When I look back, this is what that meant to me now" kind of thing.

The second one I can suggest is called The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver. It's about a girl who want to get out of her small town, as far away as possible, just to avoid the cycle of getting married, dropping out, living a hick life, that would have awaited her. It took place during the 1980 Santuary movement, and is mostly about a woman's role in society back then and practically forces you to think about some of the really deep meanings in the book.

and the last one is my personal fav for when I don't feel like reading a lot. It's Called the Alchemist. It was a good book about a boy who goes on a pilgrimage and to find his meaning in life and finds so much more. He meets an old alchemist, a King, and just all sorts of people. You would probably like it. ^^

Right now I'm about halfway through with Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex. It's a fun read. I'll definitely admit it's made me think about certain sex related aspects that I hadn't ever thought about before. :B

oops I forgot to mention The Poisonwood Bible. It is also by Barbara Kingsolver and is MUCH better than The Bean Trees.

xd It does not suprise me that you would reccomend a book with Sex in the title heart

Thanks for all the suggestion everyone! <33 I really appreciate them.

I've been meaning to read Lord of the Rings for a while now whee Maybe I'll start reading them after the Stephen King book (I'm leaving home soon so I have to read that one next~)

@Choic I think that description lies about the whole book XD So far all it talks about is how hard, dirty, and tortuous the hike is rofl And yet it still manages to make me want to do it! XD

Anything by Oscar Wilde is awesome.

For a shorter read by him, I would suggest The Canterville Ghost, or his children stories such as The Selfish Giant and The Happy Prince.

My suggestions for more books: classics. Any of them you can get your hands on.
