Jeff Hardy came out as "No More Words" played throughout the packed-to-capacity arena.
DingDingDing!
"This is a WWE Championship ladder match contest! The only way to win this match is to remove the WWE title from the metal ring that holds it. There will be no countouts, no pinfalls, no disqualifications, and no submissions."
"Introducing first, from Charlotte North Carolina, weighing in at 236 pounds, the rainbow-haired warrior, JEFF HARDY!!!!!!!!!"
As Jeff approached the ring, he felt a happy feeling in him. He was back, doing what he was born to do!
Jeff did have some doubts about this match though. HBK has had HHH with him and he has been kept in training. Jeff, on the other hand, has been gone for 4 months. But Jeff had a lot of heart, and there was no way he was gonna back down now.
He entered the ring, and stood there, waiting for his opponent.

The stadium loudspeakers went silent for a moment, giving the crowd time to cheer and chant. Interestingly enough, the chants were scattered, almost half and half. The chants of "Let's go Hardy; H-B-K; Let's go Hardy; H-B-K," grew louder and louder, until finally, the all familiar cry of young women rang out through the loudspeakers, and "Sexy Boy" started to play.
Shawn came out in his usual attire, pointing to people in the crowd with "HBK" signs, and standing at the stage. As he passed down to the ramp, he got to his knees, crossed his hands together in front of him, and began to pray silently. His lips moved softly, barely noticeable at all, making it impossible to discern what he was saying. After a few moments, he threw his arms to his sides, and his fireworks blasted high behind him, blinding the crowd and deafening the front deck. He hopped back to his feet, pumping his arms as he hopped down the ramp, stopping at the 20 foot ladder. He pointed to himself, then up to the ring that was to hold the Championship belt, mouthing "it's mine, Jeff...It's ALL mine! I got one more run in me!" With that, he picks up the ladder, closes it, and begins to drag it towards the ring.
"And his opponent, from San Antonio Texas; The Heartbreak Kid, SHAWN MICHAELS!!!"
Shawn propped the ladder against the ring ropes, and slid into the ring, staring Jeff down intently as the referee held up the WWE Title, and clipped it to the ring. HBK never took his eyes off Hardy, even as the belt was raised into the air, and the ref rang the bell...

when the bell rang, signiling the start of the match, Jeff didn't rush right off. He remained sitting in the corner, rolling his wrists, loosening them up. Then he slowly got up, and started circling his opponent.
"Dont slip up now," Jeff thought to himself. He nodded to Shawn, who was waiting for the High-Flier to make his move.
All of a sudden, Jeff leaped right at HBK, flattening him with a body slam. Then Jeff ran at the nearest turnbuckle, jumped up, and hit a Whisper in the Wind on Shawn Michaels.
Then Jeff took the ladder and threw it out of the ring for later use. He climbed on the turnbuckle and waited for the Heart-Break Kid to get up...

Shawn, still groggy from the first two high impact moves, climbed to his feet slowly. Shaking the cobwebs from his head, he looked up just in time to see Hardy situate on the turnbuckle. He trudged towards the corner as quickly as he could, climbing to the second rope to quell Jeff's ariel assault.
He grabbed Jeff in a collar-elbow tieup, while both teetered on the top rope, and began throwing elbow into Hardy's jaw, toppling him slightly. But as he wound up for a third strike, he felt Jeff's hands upon his chest, pushing him off the turnbuckle. He toppled backwards, and rolled out with his momentum, just in time to see Hardy flying through the air. As if by instinct, he raised his arms and planted his feet. As Jeff collided with the Heartbreak Kid, he found himself in the clutches of a devastating powerbomb, as HBK slammed him into the mat.
"My god!" JR exclaimed into his headset. "This match has started off brutally! Three high impact moves in the first few opening seconds! These men must already be feeling the pain from this match, and we're barely even started!"
"That's right," King retorted. "I dont know how these two plan on continuing, if they plan on keeping up this pace through the whole match!"
"These two are ladder match veterens, they know better than anyone on the roster how to pace these matches, King." Explained Ross. "But you're right; its going to be tough for them to keep up this pace; perhaps the last man standing will be the winner."
HBK stumbled into the opposite corner, catching his breath and wiping the hair from his eyes before crawling out of the ring, grabbing the ladder, and setting it up in the ring as Hardy writhed on the ground. He took a deep breath, before quickly taking his first step up the ladder, and towards the gold...

(Welcome Back Flame) "Oh no you don't," Jeff thought. Then he slowly got up and pushed over the ladder. HBK fell towards the outside, and Jeff closed the ladder and hit Shawn with it.
When Shawn got up, he hit him with the ladder again and again.
"It looks like Hardy has really injured Michael's arm." JR said. And it was true. HBK was writhing around clutching his right arm, near the sholder.
Hardy climbed on the turnbuckle and flattened Michaels with a TOF...or so he thought. Hbk twisted just in time and Jeff crash-landed.
Then Jeff got up and looked at Hbk, who was already in the ring. He slid under the ropes and looked at his opponent again, raising his fists...

Shawn looked across the ring at Jeff, nodding slightly as he held his shoulder in pain. He shook off the numbness that began to set in. He HAD to become champion, at least once more...stepping into the middle of the ring, he waited until jeff met with him, and the two locked up in the middle of the ring. HBK transitioned into a side armbar, and pulled Hardy closer to him, before throwing his hand out and slapping Hardy's chest hard.
The shot rang through the arena, coupled with deafening "WOOO" chants. He chopped Jeff again and again, the WOO's getting louder with each chest-reddening strike. Shawn whipped his opponent into the corner, and followed up with a stiff closeline, flattening jeff into the turnbuckle.
Shawn climbed back out of the ring to grab the ladder once more, placing it on the ground, before stomping on jeff some more, so he wouldnt fight back. Grabbing the enigma by the hair, he dragged jeff up, and scoop slammed him, spine first, onto the ladder. The crowd roared as they watched the Showstopper climb the turnbuckle and crouch, flipping the long hair from his face and smiling slightly. He raised his elbow, and flew through the air, aiming his signature elbow drop for Jeff's solar plexus...

(Sorry not gonna b on for a while...join my guild Randomness Galore...just say i invited u.)
Jeff moved just in time, and Shawn crash down on his injured arm...
Jeff smiled as Shawn was writhing in pain, and hit the twist of fate on the showstopper. Then, postitioning himself on the turnbuckle, Jeff set up for the Swanton Bomb...but before he could, he was pushed off the turnbuckle, ONTO HBK...
Getting up, he saw Batista, furious over not being in the WWE title match, setting up Michaels for a Batista Bomb...HBK was on Batista's shoulders...
Jeff crashed into the Animal, clotheslining him out of the ring... Looking at HBK, he asked, "Wanna take him down before he interferes again?"
His opponent nodded, and Jeff got out of the ring, picking Batista up, while HBK went up top...
