Don't shoot for the goal of being the best booker ever, obviously some people aren't going to like it if you try too hard, but don't be lazy with your guild either. Try to update (if you need too) every few days.
While updating everyday may seem like a great idea, and lets face it shows that you're dedicated to your guild.
It shows that you try too hard and that's a no-no. You want to be a dedicated guild owner, but you also want to have fun.
If you're guild makes you stressful and you're not having fun in it, means you're trying too hard. Loosen up.
