Ok so here's the thing. I was trying to turn this fig tree into a bonsai when it started to die on me. I think it was in the wrong spot. so everyday as the leaves were falling off of it i grapped the trunk and put white and green light around it(at least i tried to). and now all of the leaves that where on it are gone now. but the other day i was looking at it and one of the main branches has alternating buds on it. So i moved it to a much sunnier spot in the house and the buds are doing great.

is this considered Natural Magick, or do you think it was planning on coming back on it's own any way. cause it really looked like it was dying where it was. but since it came back it's been doing fine. please tell me what you think about it.

Thanks

P.S.
I've stoped trying to turn it into a bonsai, and I'm letting it grow by it'self now(with a little watering help from me).

sweatdrop You can't turn a fig tree into a bonsai. You must get a bonsai. The reason why it's possible to prune bonsai's like that is because they have an odd growing pattern that allows for creative pruning. I don't know for sure why it can be pruned like that, but that's what I'm assuming. The vigorous pruning required for a bonsai, when used on a fig tree, will probably KILL the fig tree. Bonsai's don't bloom much. Fig trees are annual plants, I believe, so it was probably gonna do that anyway.

I'm sorry it's acctually a ficus tree. it doesn't have any flowering, or fruiting qualities. that's my mistake. And just to be clear you can turn any plant into a bonsai as long as you have the patients. Not all bonsias are natural. Anyway I still think it would have died without me, seeing as how it started growing back immidiatly(sorry if i spelled that wrong) after the last leaf fell. Like i said i was just wondering if I had anything to do with it. thank you for your response. I appreciate it. I didn't know if anyone would considering that this really isn't an activce guild anymore. but i'm hoping for that to change.

thank you.

*headdesk* Why the hell would you try and bother turning a totally different plant into something else? I can't comprehend how silly that is. *headdesk*

Anything manipulating plants or nature can be called natural magic. So yes it is possible that you saved it. Also, it is possible that the plant just cycled. There are a lot of possibilities.
