((Setting maker note: I am basing this place on a place I used to beg my parents to take me when I was a kid. It existed, I swear =B))

Pits filled with colorful plastic balls, plastic tubes that were suspended from the ceiling that eventually connected to a twisting slide, foam climbing structures, bounce houses, even a zipline and trapese sort of thing in the older kids section. A haven for children to come and play, especially in the winter months when there was less to do.

This was a godsend for R.J. Imani was a child so full with energy that she simply could not keep the toddler entertained. This was not the first time she had brought Imani here, but it would be the first that she had to go to work here.

R.J. had gotten hired by a couple who wanted her to help out with their child's 10th birthday party, mainly the music and music based games. This wasn't her first gig like this, but it was the first with little Imani around.

"Now remember, stay in the little kids section like you always do. The bigger kids like to play rough sometimes." R.J. had talked to the place before hand, and one of the workers volunteered to keep an eye on her while R.J. was working, so the woman wasn't overly worried.

"Is 'kay, Imani stay where I always play. Pit is fun, and mean biggies won't bounce me high in the my age bounce place," Imani said with a nod and a grin. She loved this place, as it was the closest she could get in a building to not wearing shoes. In fact, it was against the rules to wear shoes, but the children all needed to be wearing socks. Imani wiggled her toes in the bright green bits that were her socks. A basic t-shirt and shorts took place of her normal attire, though as always her skull mask remained tightly fastined.

"All right then sweetie, go and have fun," R.J. said, and before she could even pat the child's head, the girl was off, diving head first into the younger kid's ball bit with a rainbow splash of orbs.

Imani quickly caught sight of the girl with large wings on her head, at least large for wings that where attached to the head. She seemed like a good target. She grinned playfully and kept low in the balls, making as little noise as a toddler practically swimming in plastic balls could make. She made her way, inch by inch, ducking down into the pit every time she supposed the girl was about to look her way.

It was shocking at first for her plan to have failed so poorly, though this feeling barely lasted a second, and utter joy replaced it. That and lots of laughing.

"Heeheehee~" Imani giggled, unable to form a proper statement due to this uncontrollable fit of laughter. It soon died down though, and she smiled at the large head-winged one as she looked up from her defeated position>

"Good one," she chimed. "Name Imani, and you?"

Imani wibbled a bit as she attempted to stand up with Julie's help, as the balls were making things hard balance wise. Once she was sure she wasn't going to tip over, she smiled again.

"Course!" she chirped. "Best way to say hello," she explained with a defiant nod of her head before giggling a little bit again. She then looked around. Ah, the small child bounce house was over there...

"Wanna play in bouncy place?" she asked, pointing to where it was. "Practice jumping!"

The imp girl's head start didn't last long. Imani started bolting towards the bounce house. As soon as she passed Julie, however, a voice was heard.

"Please no running outside the play areas," an employee said, looking to the two girls.

Imani skidded to a stop and looked back at the young looking man.

"Sorry mis'sir..." she apologized before turning around and walking towards the bounce house instead.

Imani grinned.

"Yup!" she stated before stepping inside. There were a few other kids in there who stopped their playtime to look at her for a moment. One of them, a little boy, walked over to her with a quizzical look on his face.

"Why you wearin' a mask? It's not Halloween no mores..." he asked, reaching out his hand to tug on it. Imani stopped him by grabbing onto his wrist, gently of course.

"Cause Imani likes it," she said simply, before letting go of him.

The boy looked at his wrist for a moment, then glared at Imani.

"You're stupid..." he grumped. Imani just blinked at him.

"Okay," was her only response to him. She instead directed her attention back to Julie. "C'mon, lets jump!" It was as if the interaction prior never even happened.

Imani smiled, though unlike her bright smiles before, this one was softer. Other than R.J., all she had gotten were stares and comments on her mask of sorts, and it was nice to know that Julie didn't think it was stupid, as so many other kids had claimed...

She then snapped out of her toddler like inner thoughtings, and the bright and cheerful smile was back on her face as she began to jump with Julie, giggling like a fool and just having a grand old time with her new best friend it seemed.

Imani play scowled at Julie, sticking out her tongue.

"Julie jumping higher only 'cause she can flap her wings," was her response, before she held tightly onto the other girl's hand as they jumped.

At first it was awkward, trying to get into a similar rhythm as the head winged girl, but after a few awkward landings things began falling into place, bolting up and touching down at about the same time.

And it was all great fun for Imani.
