This is a place where students come to educate themselves in magic.
The RP's focus is just the daily lives of students that inhabit it.
It is the begging of a new semester and the year is 2009.
So no one from the book is in school.

Holly Littleton"...And lastly, the petition to extended the curfew has been accepeted...but, we are only extending it an hour and a half instead of the full two hours." Holly's eyes scanned about the Great Hall at all the eager returning students. It was another year at Hogwarts and eighth as headmaster. She waved weakly at her daughter who seemed to be prodding her sweet potato.

Keri sat quietly as her table with all her fellow sixth years. She sighed and stared down at her plate in boredom. She's heard the same speech for six years now and has almost memorized the rules. It was becoming very tiresome. She understood that the speech was for all the first years, but they need to spice it up a little or shorten the speech so they could eat.

Keri's right eye twitch. "Theif," she whispered before taking a scone off Joseph's plate. "Joseph why the heck did you take my scone when you had one on your own plate?"

Arisa Littleton  Arisa sighed and poked her sweet potato. She grew bored of hearing her mother's speech year after year. It hadn't changed much over time. Another thing on her mind was the qudditch robes she was making for the team. She was supposed to have finished them on the train but forgot to sew on the Ravenclaw seal and the ranks of each member. She withdrew her free hand from her robe and pulled out a patch with the word "keeper" on it. It was her third year as keeper....both years she had messed up bad in the final game but had an excellent block record.

Alexander Ceasar  Alex eagerly ate the food before him. He had forgotten his bag of galleons at home and hadn't eaten anything on the long train ride to Hogwarts.

*Joseph Fine*"Ruffers is probably too," he said as he summoned a large piece of ham towards him so that he could bring it upstairs for later. Glancing over at the girl he pointed his wand at a brick of cheese and made it sore into her hand.

Keri chuckled and stuffed the cheese into her pocket. "Thanks," she said just after taking eating a piece of cheese. Though she didn't eat anything on the train, Keri wasn't really hunger.

~Cody Moore~ Cody sighed and stared lazily over at Joseph fine. He watched the other while he flicked his yew wand about with such perfection, he wished he could be that graceful in his wand work. He also wished to held by the strong hands in which the yew wand was. Sighing again he took a swig of tea from his goblet.

Beatrice took a swig of her drink. "Hey, what are you doing there, Arisa? Still sewing up the uniforms?"
Another sip.
"Don't worry too much, hun. No one will mind if you aren't finished yet. But finish soon."
Beatrice smirked like a devil and pulled a book out from her robes. It was a trashy manga.

Arisa Littleton Arisa sighed and found a cheesecake and claimed the thing for herself. She tended to stress eat, but worked it off by practicing Qudditch. Looking over she peeked at Beatrice's book. "OH my wizard! You brought smut into the school! What will my mother say if she finds out. I'll never hear the end of it!"
