Cage looked up from the chair he was sitting in and didn't see anyone that he recognized. He stood up from in front of the cozy fireplace and made his way out towards the Great Hall. Here comes another great year Cage thought to himself as he entered into the corridor

With a small yawn, Arianna walks into the common room, kitten in tow. She seems pretty tired from her first classes of the semester. She notices another Hufflepuff here in the common room leave towards the Great Hall.
She decides to take a seat as well near the fireplace in one of the beanbag chairs, setting down her kitten and watching the little thing just walk about and climbing the reclining chair. Dia has decided to make the reclining chair her new perch as she has curled up and started to get cozy.
Arianna on the other hand just takes out her books and gets started on homework.
'I'll probably do this till I get bored..and then maybe I'll go out to the courtyard..'

Kimberly strolls and sits down then heads up to the first years dorms to unpack.

Ruth Wealey enters the room and sits in an armchair, taking out a thick book with the title: OWL level charms by Kennedy Ricks, even though she's only a first year. She pushes back her flaming red, bushy hair, and carsseses the smooth, yellow parchment.

Abby walked into the common room for the first time. She immediately felt at home. The room seemed to radiate warmth. A few of the older students gave her a kind smile as she entered, and then returned to their books or games of exploding snap. Her first year of school immediately felt less threatening.

Zena enters the common room to see nothing going on. Feeling a little bored she decided to relaxe. She walks over to one of the two-seater couches and opens up her book. Flipping throught the pages she began to read.[Might I be aloud to post in "gold". I think it's quite easy to read, do you agree?]

Abby sees Zena's book and is interested. She sits in a chair nearby and when she thinks Zena's at a stopping place, introduces herself and asks about what she's reading.

Merry walked into the common room with a bag full of snacks from the kitchens.
"Anyone want some snacks? I've got sweets and sandwiches. Plus, some butterbeer in my trunk!"

Mitch walked into the common for the very first time. He looks around see all the people here and is very intimidated by them being only a first year. to intimidated he goes in a corner and pulls a book out of his bag and begins to read.

Elizabeta walked into the Hufflepuff common room, right hand free to shake hands with new friends and left arm curved protectively over the dachshund puppy in the breast sling she wore. She looked around and saw a young man in a quiet corner (Mitch). "Hello! I'm Liz Pomfrey, and this is Punkin. We are new, tonight. Do you mind sharing your nice quiet space?" Man, she hoped no one would be crass enough to be rude to her about Punkin, although the Headmaster had warned her about the Potions and DADA instructors -- seems that caring for helpless things was over-rated in some folk's books... although they couldn't DO anything except give into the Headmaster unless Punkin became a danger or distraction in class--very unlikely in her present condition. Still, the Headmaster HAD suggested Punkin should go to Madame Pomfrey for those two classes only. He told her to take Punkin with her to class for the first day of classes and go to Aunt Poppy as soon as possible.  Punkin in real-life

Abby looked up do see Liz sitting down with a dachshund? He was absolutely adorable! Abby walked up to Liz with the traditional "Hi! can I pet your dog?" She hoped that Punkin wouldn't be made to leave, but there were many cats at Hogwarts.

Ahhhhhhhh new people Mitch thought. This is all getting a little over whelming. "Sorry if i seem rude im not trying to be. But I;m a little overwhelmed right now," Mitch said to the person that just walked over. "Liz you can have the corner." That is an awesome dog Mitch though as he waked away.

She jumps in her seat when spoken to. She had completely forgotten that there where other people in the room with her, she was just that into he book. Zena giggled at how silly she felt for jumping then introduced herself to Abby telling her about the thrilling adventure book she was just reading.
