Tipsy Sex Symbol

Eztil was observing his home. Nice. Calm. Claimed. No one out of line or order. Now-a-days, he had total control over the lands, and it seemed like an age ago that anyone had made a move against him. These people, this place, it was something he had only dreamed of back when he had run a rag-tag band of misfits bent on hell and destruction. Now he had regular lions who were willing to do as he asked. And if they weren't, they were much easier to deal with.

"Such a lovely little pride..." And now it belonged to him. Oh, his sister would have been proud if she had lived to see this day. Even his brother-in-law, no doubt, would have looked on with a smile. Shame, their loss, the only creatures who had never betrayed him. Well, he had gotten them all killed in his power struggles, but what could be done?

The tiger striped female had just gotten back from browsing rogue lands. Out of the pride members she was probably the one that was the most rebellious. She didn't really care for Eztil. She didn't know why; she just had a dislike for him. Sometimes it just happened you meat someone and you didn't care for them. Her bright eyes looked around not seeing the bulky male anywhere in sight. Good.

She sauntered through the lands...it was so quiet. Briseis wasn't used to such a quietness. The pride used to be full of noise, and interactions. Feasts and productions. This new reign was like having a tyrant, to her. She clambered over to one of her favorite resting spots. A large elephant tree that she could easily climb up and lounge on...which was exactly what she did. Her bright blue eyes watched the deadened pride. Her eyes started to close, lazily. She might as well take a nap while its hot out. Hunting during the night was a common thing. Much cooler and lions can see easily in the dark.

Eztil spotted her then, Briseis. The biggest problem child, he would call her. If anyone was going to make a fuss, it would be her. Still, it wouldn't hurt to try and win her over. Avoid a problem before it started. It would be hassel to have someone cause problems, so that he would simply have to... kill them. One had to be quick with someone like this... last time he had left it far too late.

"Briseis." He said, a cruelly pleasent voice as he looked up at her, "How nice to see you today. I was hoping that you and I could talk."

"I'm sure you were..." she spouted back, sarcasm seething through her poors.

She recognized the pale lions voice a mile away. She remembered how he had snuck into the pride and chased off their future heirs. He didn't even try to hide it. He had explained everything in a nonchalant manner as if that made everything okay. Eztil shouldn't be underestimated, if anyone knew that it was her.

"What do you want all mighty one?" she sneered at him. Her eyes watching him intently...not a whole lot of lions could climb as well as her. Sure they could climb, but they either chose not too or were to bulky. Which was why she liked trees.

"Is it so wrong that I want to get to know my fellow members of the pride?" Eztil asked, circling the tree casually, "I must be honest, it doesn't seem right of me not to know you all better. After all, I am your leader. I want this pride to be the best it can be... who knows, we could rule the world some day."

Which he did intend to. But that meant he couldn't have any early traitors in his midst. He might even come to regret not murdering those... foolish children when he had the chance. It would have been smarter, on his part. Yet something about murdering children had seemed... what? Too cruel? Not like him. He could be losing his edge, and one had to be ready to do whatever was necessary in these matters.

"Come now, let's try and get along. That will make us all a great deal better off." Eztil promised, though he was lying. Better for him, was the goal. If he could make her a new tool for the greater purpose... well, that would just be more useful.

She let out a grunt sound at his ambitions, "What do you mean 'we'? Look around how many are really here...see how quiet it is...nothing happens here. You don't have a large enough group to rule the world or anything of the like."

The female was obviously not showing her utmost express, especially from the safety of her tree. Her bright blue eyes watched him lazily, he had yet to impress her specifically. She wondered if he even could even please her in the smallest of ways, the female rolled her eyes at the male.

"Eztil hate to break it to you, but anyone can figure out that your in whatever you in for yourself," she watched him carefully. She didn't know what he was capable and sometimes she was afraid to find out exactly what that was.

"Everyone is in it for themselves my dear, I didn't think you were naive enough to believe otherwise." Eztil chuckled, "But I'm smart enough to know that I can't do everything myself. I wouldn't be here, trying my best to keep everyone together otherwise, I assure you." It was true enough. If he thought the pride had no prospects, he would have left long ago. But life was easier there.

"And numbers can grow, but only if the pride is happy, don't you think?" Eztil offered, taking a seat and looking up, "And I just want to make you happy my dear. Is that so wrong?" Honestly, anything to just make the girl shut up or leave. She would be a useful ally to say the least. Though if she became too much work, killing her would be much easier.

He hoped to avoid that. She was right. He needed larger numbers, not fewer.

"Its not being naive. Some lions have general concern for others. If you have lack for concern of others then no one will stand by you...only the few brutes you manage to brain wash, but you can't brain wash everyone my dear," she retorted. The girl stretch while flicking her tail back and forth not moving from her place. She wasn't going to risk a beating by going down, Eztil was tricky. She wasn't stupid.

"Key word, pride is happy," she grinned with a hint of sarcastic. "How exactly are you attempting to make me happy again?" she inquired. Now she was interested. It was true she liked being happy and her own self interest fulfilled but not in the misforture of others.

"Well, what can I do to make you happy? You see... one thing I've noticed is some people, they walk around making guesses about what makes others happy. I like to ask. If I have a direct answer, then I can help." Eztil smiled, "And I don't want to brainwash anyone... no one can ever get far in life if everyone conforms totally to their whim. That's how people get assassinated. You have to know who likes what you do and who doesn't." So you could kill them or convert them to the cause.

"You're a very cynical sarcastic little thing, my friend. It would be difficult for me to make you happy... so give me an answer to help you, that doesn't involve me screwing off. That won't help anything." He loathed this woman. His face didn't show it, not for a second, and his voice carried no hint, but he liked to think about sinking his teeth into her.

"Thanks for the compliment," she smiled sweetly at the bigger male. Something about him just wasn't right. He could kill her, but doing so would be stupid as she was familiar with all of its members and was a favorite. He could beat her into submission but that too would be dumb on his part. He was trying to be favored by her, and it was her choice whether she would or not. If not she could, very well be chased out.

"Such cynical and sarcasm, you think I will tell you what makes me happy?" she shook her head. "You can figure it out just like everyone else, I don't kiss and tell." she grinned again. She too would not show how much she wanted to rip him apart upon her face nor in her tone.

"Does that mean you want a kiss?" Eztil answered, raising an eyebrow as he snorted, "Really, you didn't seem the type. But I thought it would be much easier for us to get past all this nonsense and just cut to the chase where we're both happy with none of this sneaking around. My mistake... it seems you like to be chased."

He stood up again, flicking his tail, "Or perhaps you're the sort of girl who just doesn't know what she wants. So horribly unfair, that sort of thing." He said, shrugging up his shoulders and chuckling. "A strange girl... but I like you my dear. I hope that we shall be good friends in the years to come. The hardest friendships to win are usually those worthwhile to have."

"The chase is my favorite part," she beamed. Briseis yawned in boredom at the male. "I know exactly what I want Eztil, you can be pissed off or blissfully unaware, either way I don't really care." She took her stab right back at him. She was a spit fire when some one pissed her off and it wasn't unlike her to get physical.

She rumbled from her place, as she watched him, she was starting to doubt this male and fear his nonchalant attitude. "Why don't you go check up on some of your other minions or do some 'kingly' duties," she replied lazily as her eyes began to shut to begin another lazy cat nap.

"Because you're the only one who I'm really interested in." Eztil grinned, obviously still pleased, despite her outward appearance, "And don't worry pet, I could never be angry with you. That wouldn't be fair, now would it? Not when I've already become resolved to chase you until I can figure you out. Does that make you happy, or blissfully unaware?"

He flicked his tail and turned around, "I'm looking forward to this, Briseis. You and I... we're going to have a lovely time." He promised, heading on his merry way, "After all... you seem to be the only one I haven't charmed. I'll have to work on that. I'm certain we can turn things around. I've always liked women who can think for themselves."
