Planet: Tatooine
System: Tatooine
Sector: Arkanis
Terrain: Desert, 1% water
Zones: Mos Eisley, Bestine, Anchorhead, Tosche Station, Mos Entha, Wayfar, and Mos Espa

Description:
Tatooine is a desert world in a binary star system (the two suns are named Tatoo I & Tatoo II), inhabited by poor locals who mostly farm moisture for a living. The planet has been the site of repeated and failed attempts at colonization. During the prequel-era, it was ruled for a long period by the Hutts, being beyond the reach of the Galactic Republic. After the fall of the Republic, the Galactic Empire established a token presence on Tatooine, but the crime lord Jabba the Hutt still retained de facto control of the planet. Notable geological features include the Dune Sea, an enormous desert, and the Jundland Wastes, a rocky region. Despite the planet's extreme aridity, some forms of life do thrive on Tatooine, including the rodent-like womp rat, elephant-like bantha, and the enormous, fearsome krayt dragon.

Tatooine is also home to two apparently native sentient bipedal species: Jawas, pygmy-like mechanical scavengers, and Tusken Raiders, also known as Sand People, who are mysterious, reclusive, and extremely hostile to outsiders. Both races wear fully-concealing robes that keep their true forms hidden from outsiders (It's stated in the Expanded Universe that Jawas are rodent-like, and it is vaguely hinted that the Jawas and Sand People share a common ancestor).

Tatooine was once a member world of the pre-Republic Infinite Empire. It once had large oceans and a world-spanning jungle. This biosphere was destroyed by an orbital bombardment by the Rakata that "glassed" (that is, fused the silica in the soil into glass, which then broke up over time into sand) the planet and boiled its oceans away.

Oryn Tesswa groaned as the bright morning light pierced through the crumbling wall that seperated her "bedroom" from that of her sister. It was still home though, no matter how old the studio was. Here they had been trained, and here they had grown to trust each other.

In truth the woman wasn't her sister by blood. No one would have ever believed them either. Though the were similar in build, Oryn was on a slightly more petite scale. Her hair, which she was now tying up into messy bun, was a rich shade of honey brown with lighter highlights playing across its surface. Her eyes, an expressive deep blue, stared back at her critically from the cracked mirror she kept on her wall. Her lips twisted into a half smile as she heard rustlings from Xelia's area and she quickly got dressed.

What had once been a proud courtyard, and now already reduced to semi ruins, was still decently enclosed. It was here that she started a small fire and began to make a breakfast for the two women.

Later, she promised herself, she would go over those notes on ithorian subscript, she was having issues translating some of the words even though she was using the oldest source so far adequetly translated by supposed professionals.

Oryn ate her meager breakfast in silence and washed her bowl out in the cracked metal sink. They would have to go buy supplies today and as she mentally calculated how many credits she should bring with her another thread of thought intruded.

It was a frequent thought between both the women, leaving the studio and buying a nicer place, somewhere else, possibly even offworld. Then there was the option to go to corellia and join the jedi there. They had talked about it many times and had always came to the same conclusion. The time just wasn't right.

Yet she felt as though something was different this morning as she looked up at the orange and pink hued sky. There was a feeling of change permeating the air, and it was almost intoxicating. Absently, she brushed some hair from her olive toned face before standing up to go nag Xelia to hurry up.

The taller girl, more white skinned with blond hair tumbling to the back of her knees was up before Oryn could speak.

"I'm up, I'm up." She muttered as she slipped past her 'sister'. Snatching up a brush as she flowed around the old and historic studio that they inhabitied, she yanked it through her hair, but gave up after a few minutes.

Several long minutes had passed in silence before Xelia finally turned back to Oryn. "What do we need to do today?"

Oryn handed her a bowl of porridge before speaking, "We need to do some supply shopping today, but I think it would be best if we packed up our things and brought them with us."

She paused and sat back down on a crumbled wall, "I think today is the day we leave this place. I'm not sure why or where...but something feels different."

Xelia took the bowl of porridge silently, raising an eyebrow. "Today? Today we leave the memory of our master? Oryn, really. You act like a jedi with that emotionless sense of yours."

She brushed past her olive-toned sister, taking a few bites of porridge before setting it back down onto a crumbling counter. Pushing blond hair back behind her ears, she turned, a hand on her hip.

"Where would we leave to?"

Oryn smiled faintly at Xelia before standing up to retrieve her pack.

"I already put all our research materials into cases and placed it all in the landspeeper. And no, I'm not sure where we're going...I just feel that it's time to leave this place and its memories."

Oryn placed a liberal amount of credits into Xelia's pack before walking over to the left side of the building that opened up onto a cliff. Her she placed a bundle of goods into a pulley and let them down the cliffside gently. These she knew would be collected by the local jawas that came to the old studio every month to trade.

She returned to find Xelia nearly ready. "We talked about this a long time ago. Don't tell me you don't feel the urgency either?"

"I feel it, I rather not admit to it." Xelia said with scowling honesty. She pulled up her long blond hair that reached down to her lower back, wrapping it into a rather fancy ponytail, that kept her hair out of her face and the dirt.

"We'll never make it anywhere in that old thing.." She said, guesturing over her shoulder the landspeeder. "We'll have to go to Mos Eisley to get a ship."

"Indeed, shall we then?"

With the last of the gear loaded and the area cleaned up, the two young women jumped into the battered landspeeder. They made it to Mos Eisley as the suns reached their peak in the sky.

They stopped at a Cantina for a brief respite before going on their search for a ship.

Darken walks heavily on the sandy road as wind mixed with sand blew across his face. He had been staying in Tatooine for 3 days now. There was a bounty on his head in some other placeand he figured out that the safest place to hide was in Tatooine. He entered through a door leading to the cantina to shield himself from the strong wind and sand. Darken sat on a chair in the cantina. He ordered juma juice as he waited patiently on the stool and watched around for people who might want to get his bounty. Since yesterday, the folk heard of his bounty and one already tried to get it. Buit since the young man was experienced, he immediately deceased the man in one single blow. He always carried his Trandoshan sword around and a sonic blaster handy if anyone tries to kill him.

Look who's here, a man with a bounty on his head seating in the bar so that he can be an easy target for everyone to kill!

Darken grabbed his sword in a matter of seconds as he swiped the sword from his left hand and stopped it just in time before it hit the man's neck. He smirked in spite of himself and realized that the man has already pointed his blaster at his back. He wondered though why he hasn't shot yet. He won't dare to know because the instant he turned round he'll be bantha fodder ina matter of seconds.

Darken was sitting very still and sweat was dropping from his forhead as he waited for the man to trigger his blaster to kill him. He never knew that it was the end of his life so fast. He waited patiently and he still gripped his sword tightly hoping that the man would let his guard down so that he can finish him off. Then suddenly a man walked inside the cantina who was luckily a czercka officer screamed for them to put down our weapons. That was when the man let his guard down and he immediately swung his trandoshan sword and killed the man in the blink of an eye. Then he realized that he was in trouble and ran for his life as the czercka officer pointed his blaster at towards Darken's head. The young man knew he'll get killed if he didn't kill him so he took out his sonic blaster and shot the man. The officer went flying across the wall withj the impact but Darken kept running for his life and dodged everyone in his way. He headed for the docks and hoped that there was a vacant ship dicked in the docking bay. With luck, he found one and went in. Since he was good at computers, he hacked the main security system and launched the ship.

Darken dodged the blasters and defense turrets that shot at him. He immediately headed out of the planet hoping that no other ships were following him. The young man immediately went to hyperspace and was out of the planets's reach. He kept going on and hoped for a planet nearby. He stumbled into Dantooine and cursed himself for seeing the planet. But he knew it was better than nothing so he headed for Dantooine.

Drac got out of his hut and looked at the sky. The sun was blazing as always, and Drac began to lose help. He knew he could not continue his own training like this and very much wanted to find someone -anyone- that would train him in the art of the jedi. Drac had some knowledge of the area of tatooine that he was in and knew that a place called Mos Eisley was within walking distance.

Drac packed up some food and water, his droid, and his other items and headed towards Mos Eisley. The droid was hovering right beside Drac.

Landing on the hot, sandy terrain, an A-wing softly touched the ground of Tatooine. Sand came up like dust. The engines whined and died down. Nearby was Mos Eisley.

Solaris prepared to make a transmission to Corellia, to the to the astrodroid in the other ship she had left in the Jedi Temple. She made sure to hide her face, in case any other viewers were watching. As she spoke, she made sure that the tone would be monotone, and unrecognizeable. The sentence was clear and simple.

Quote:

"R3, come to these coordinates I'm sending you.."

At this, she had sent the coordinates of her current position in the message as well, and then ended it.

It would probably take a while for the astrodroid and the ship to reach her, so she made her way towards Mos Eisley.
