Dagmar Thorsen was bored. Yet again. Her room had absolutely no entertainment whatsoever to offer, unless you counted two fairly ratty chairs and a half-wilted 'Get Well'-bouquet as entertainment (and even then you'd probably be a bit disappointed at the prospects in this particular room).
Granted, the nurses generally checked in every half hour when they made their rounds, but the men and women employed at the hospital were generally quite busy though quite nice. But 'nice' didn't mean much when you were an easily bored eighteen-year-old girl stuck in what was possibly the most uninteresting room in the history of uninteresting things.
So, after the latest check by the lovely Nurse Goodman, Aggie had made her escape to hopefully find something more interesting to occupy herself with. And really, if push came to shove she could always map out the part of the ward that she hadn't gotten down on paper yet. Actually making her own maps hadn't ever been an interest of Aggie's, but it definitely beat staring at the wall with dead eyes.
"Dun dun dun dun, dooo duuuun." Humming James Bond-theme songs really wasn't as fun as TV made it out to be, but then again, it was better than listening to the lonely sound of her own footsteps in an otherwise deserted corridor. Any noise would do.
Like the one coming from that room! And noise meant people. And maybe they'd be as nice as the last patient she'd met here, which was always an encouraging thought - with that in mind, the maroon-haired girl knocked cheerily on the door clearly marked CROWLEY, A and called out a greeting so obnoxiously happy you could've made commercials with it; "Hello! Is anyone in there?"

Azzo's bitching, at nothing, yet again, but his puppets. When someone called out. Oh damnit.
He hid the puppets promptly and looked towards the door, "Yes... Yes there is." He didn't remember the voice belonging to any of those he'd met recently. He was slowly getting better where he could sit a little more and be a little more comfortable.
Though it was still painful, he tilted his head, "Come on in." He added after the fact of answering that someone was in here.

"Hi! I mean, hello. Again. Wow, you're another Barren Pines kid right? Or well, maybe not kid, but you know what I mean, right?" Aggie was too damn bored to worry about politésse and took one of the not-so-comfy chairs next to the boy on the bed the moment she came through the door. Normally she'd be more timid (and probably still 'uhm'ing in the doorway) but there was literally nothing to do in this place but to be sick. And bored.
And Aggie belonged in category number two. "Sorry for just, like, barging in here." Insert nervous laugh, "But you don't mind right? Uhm, company's always good, right?"

He watched her blinking, "Uh... Barren Pines?" He wrinkled his nose, "I... guess?" While his ribs were healing his mind was still blocking.
However she was the second one to mention school in the past few days. He could finally reach over (though his ribs still twinged when he did) for grandma's homemade cookies, and took the tin and pulled out a ginger bread cookie. "It's fine, and yes company's better than always staring at the ceiling with a nurse telling you not to get up."
He grinned and offered the tin to her, "cookie?" He tilted his head slightly, "My grams made them. It's about the only decent food that actually comes in besides what others happen to bring along."

"Yeah, Barren Pines." She looked baffled. "Didn't they tell you anything? I mean, about using the school as a cover-up?" Wow, how odd! The nurses hadn't been able to shut up around Aggie, but maybe that was just because she was the sort of person that tended to blend into the woodwork. Sometimes she had the feeling that the nurses only gossiped like that because they forgot she was in the room.
"Thanks." She gingerly nibbled on her proffered cookie. Oh wow, this thing was delicious! Aggie stared at the little piece of confectionary with newfound respect. "Yeah, the food isn't too great around here. The salad's just plain awful, but don't tell anyone I said that." She'd made a sneaky grab for another one of those fantastic cookies while talking and was now successfully enjoying her prize.
"Did they get one of your organs?" He was wearing a bandage, they'd been involved in a ring of illegal organ harvesting.. it made sense. "Um, sorry if that's like.. a sensitive topic. Mom's always telling me I have no tact. I'm really, really sorry!"

"Well I mean I know there was the Organ trafficking thing... and Melody said something about a school..." He scratched his head, "I honestly don't remember much of anything."
He chuckled wincing as his ribs complained, "Yeah most of the food here is pretty bad. I don't think some of this stuff is even food." He made a face at the thought of the food not being food.
"Organs.... no, don't think they did... They broke some ribs apparently though. The nurses said they were half healed when they brought me here though..." He shrugged, "And it's fine, I don't mind. I've had worse questions." He grinned.

"What else would it be?" Bafflement was the keyword for the last couple of days of Aggie's life. "That sounds awful, though. I'm very sorry." She gingerly patted the one hand she could actually reach, complete with a somber mine and sympathizing nod.
"Wonder why they did it?" She looked thoughtful, "I mean, it's not like any of your organs are like.. uhm, wrapped around your ribs, right? So why'd they need to break them?" Her eyes lit up after a second of thought: "Maybe you tried to save us! Like some sort of hero or something, yeah? And when you were heroically making your exit with the escapees, one of their nasty goons caught you and you sacrificed yourself to let the others get away!" The exciting if not slightly farfetched idea had her nearly bouncing in her seat - how heroic! How awesome! How-- potentially insulting. What if he thought she was making fun of him or something?!
"Oh no, I didn't mean it in a bad way! You know like, sarcastic? Not like that! I mean you look totally like a whatsitscalled, anti-hero? With the dark hair and pale skin and all. Um." She fiddled her fingers and turned her famous puppy-dog eyes on him, mentally pleading the other not to take things the wrong way. It'd be so nice to make a friend, here at the hospital!

Azzo shrugged softly listening to her as he watched the girl. "I'm not sure, maybe they used some sort of school name to cover up the ring." He shook his head, "Then again people could just be crazy." He cracked a grin.
He shook his head, "I guess if they wanted my heart they would've cut me open with a saw instead of breaking them." He listened to her, brow lofting, in a curious way.
He chuckled, wincing slightly, "Yeah, could be. But if I was, I don't remember it."
He watched her, "Oh... uh what school you going to after you get out of here?" He seemed curious.

"Well, i-it's a nice thought at least." She smiled shyly, encouraged by his kind manner. Maybe she'd make a friend here after all! "Um, well, Meadowview, I guess." She'd gotten the pamphlets for both Crystal Academy and Meadowview High School a few days ago and it'd been clear from the beginning that Crystal was in a league above her.
Meadowview on the other hand, seemed nice and affordable. Plus, it had a very pretty name so it really couldn't be that horrible, right? "Where'll you be going to? I mean, obviously not to Crystal, but it couldn't just be the girls who had different choices, right?"

"Yes... a nice thought. Who knows, if my memories come back from this suppression, it might prove true." I hope.... He mentally tacked on the last. It'd be much easier if that was indeed the case, though if he knew how many deaths were because of him.... well... the boy might just have ANOTHER mental break down.
"Grams said something about Hillworth, Hillsworth... whatever the name was, wouldn't be right for me. So I'm stuck in Meadowview as well." He chuckled, "Not that I mind. Boarding schools sometimes seem a bit stuffy anyways. At least that's what I've heard."

"Yeah, Meadowview doesn't sound so bad, does it? I mean, and now we know someone else going there! Um, n-not that you should feel obligated or anything, just, you know.." She trailed off, embarrassed yet again. "Do you know anyone else in here? B-besides the staff. Like the other kids?"

He shrugged, "I never got a choice in the matter. Gram's likes to.... think she knows what she's doing. Most of the time she does." He nodded.
She seemed to be getting shyer as they kept talking, which was curious, normally it worked the other way around right....right? He blinked for a second, thinking, "Well I know there's Alessa, I think her name is, she visits patients. I know she's going to Meadowview. Offered to help me with my homework."
"There's also... I think her name is Melody..." He said trailing off thinking, "Cute blonde, really tan skin." He nodded, "I'm not sure where she's going. But I think she was one of us that had been found. She mentioned a guy to.... I don't remember if she said his name or not. But it seemed his mother was a nurse and they knew each other."
"Oh and someone... claiming to be my third cousin.... Another blonde, light skin..." He trailed off before calling her cute to. "Though I don't remember being related to her. She was able to get out early though I guess..."

"Wow, you've really gotten around." She had to time to blink before the double-entendre of her words set in, "Oh my gosh, not like that! I'm just awful at being clear today, a-aren't I?" Cue nervous laugh and hand-shuffling.
"B-but it's nice that you know so many people! I guess it'll be really easy for you to start at your new school then."

He blinked when she said not like that. "Huh...." It kind of flew over his head what she meant. Well for a few minutes, then again it takes a brick to make him realize someone might be flirting with him.
"Heh.... yeah, I suppose. But they all might not be going to same school." He shrugged, "But at least there's people to meet."

"Yeah!" She obediently nodded along, slightly jealous that he seemed to have so many more friends than she did. How unfair! (There were only two categories of people in Aggie's mind: Friends and Creepy People, and all new acquaintances automatically went into Friends.)
But, well, at least she had Imo! Who was loads better than a whole handful of random people, for sure. "I bet we'll meet loads of new people, too, right? And t-they'll probably be nice as well!"
