 I'm Madame de Sousa aka Maggie! I'm 21 years old and from New York. I weigh 150lbs and I am 5'1. crying I'm a French Education major and German minor at Mansfield University.
My Goal is to be 130lbs by May 2010 I am here because I am studying abroad next summer in Québec and next year in France so I really don't want to give off an already thought stereotype of the US. Also, I can NEVER find clothes that fit me well.
The Water Experiment The water experiment is my daily goal to drink the daily recommended 8 cups of water or 64 ozs
mes petites démons : Cookies Cake BREAD! Very limited funds for veggies and fruits when home.
I don't drink soda thankfully. I play DDR, bike, ellipticals walk my 2 Rotties and kayak. smile

My shape is very round and I HATE it crying especially my stomach. Plus I have very small boobs 34C and they really do not go with my shape.
Mini Goal 10lbs lost/ at 140lbs( really 139 so I know it may not come back) I will get my ears repierced smile I want to RUN a mile without stopping by the end of the semester
I would like to be a full certified kayak instructor so I need to get to the pool 2 times a week once school starts unless I get a job.
This will be my 3rd attempt at losing weight! sadly I never stay motivated enough to keep losing weight

Day 1
Breakfast None woke up at 2pm
Lunch: egg sandwich - 350 cals
Dinner: spaghetti thing my sister made with green beans, garlic, oregano, basil, lemon pepper, paprika , thyme - 600 cals cheese potatoes - 200 cals
Snacks:
Water:
72oz Exercise:
100 cals Total Cals : 1,050 cals
Comments: I bought vitamins today so I will start taking them tomorrow.

I'll keep you my dirty little secret... Bonjour!
Personally, I used to be at about 150, which isn't that bad. I know you can lose the extra weight if you try! As you lose weight, you become better at resisting empty calorie foods, and become happier as you look better.
If your problem is eating empty calorie foods, I suggest you do this. Ask yourself, before eating the chocolate/cookies/whatever, 'Is this really worth the calories?'. It's especially helpful if you tend to exercise, because then you know how difficult burning calories is.

You can do it, you can do it, you can do it!
20 pounds is manageable! It's a lot, but it's manageable! Especially with all of your motivation to travel! I went to Austria for a month this past summer and ended up losing 10lbs. I gained it back here but that's 'cause I wasn't trying at all. You eat better overseas (even in Canada, really) and walk more, so everyone is naturally more fit. You'll get there looking great and then lose even more, or tone up a bunch, I'm sure. :D I'm really excited for you!

Day 2 Breakfast: @12:30vitamin full grain wheat bread 90 grape jam 25 ______________ 115 cals Lunch: @ 3:30eggplant 100 pasta 150 green beans 20 with garlic, oregano, basil, lemon pepper, paprika , thyme ( it's left overs from last night didn't have as much as last night though) _________________ 270 Dinner: @ 8:30Pork Lo Mein 1500 cals crying Snacks:yogurt 200 cals 2 banana 200 cals Water:16oz 32oz48 oz Exercise:Total Cals :2285 crying Comments:My mom lent out the scale because she didn't believe anyone in the house used it grr Also I've been having major cravings all day and I'm not sure for what..... Tip of the Day: Don’t compare yourself to others Every body is different. It stands to reason that everybody will lose weight differently. Even if you do the exact same things that I do, you won’t lose weight at the same rate. The key is in finding your triggers. Keep your goal in sight, and do whatever you have to do to meet that goal. Water:48oz Exercise:DDR 150 cals run with dogs in the snow smile Total Cals :1245 Comments:food intake was pretty bad tooo many carbs plus the cake crying I when I was at my grandparent's house I used their scale I'm now 149lbs YAY Tip of the Day:It is an ok book but of course I'm poor and can't afford to buy fresh foods all year long. I recommend it for a sorta fun read. I like seeing the French throughout the book. ( Me = francophile)Can't wait till summer so my grandfather's garden grows smile My grandfather plants cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, and tomatoes YUM

Thanks smile I really hope I can do it. This is my third time trying to lose weight. Last time I did lose 10 pounds in 3 months but I went to Italy and gained it back in 2 weeks plus some so I gave up after that.

Total Cals :Comments:I found out there is a free open air ice rink 15 mins away by car... Going tomorrow smile Some times I feel like a water balloon with all the water I drink. o_O Tip of the Day:Be positive! The more you feel good about yourself the easier and faster it is to lose weight.

Comments:So I ate brownies I loveee chocolate but as a "punishment" I rode my bike for an hour and 30 mins. I really don't think I'm eating well. I also have really BAD sleeping patterns. Tip of the Day:These are my babys Both were rescued from the shelter
Rocky is the older one he is 8 and weights 150lbs We got him when he was 3. He was in the shelter for 9 months since no one wanted him. He was abused and he is scared of all men and tall people.
Ruby is the smaller and younger one she is about 3 and weights 100lbs Her owner died and the person who she was given to went crazy and left her and her brother in a car with the windows closed when it was 100 degrees out Shes a lovebug
