Guh. I've been fairly AWOL for the past month, but especially the last week or so. Been on another forum where I feel cozy AVEN. Also, I can now keep up with my 2 favorite cousins on Facebook and my dad actually contacted me there last night! Have to decide whether or not to spend the next semester taking classes or getting my first job. Not going to be on Gaia as much in general, but I've been coming to this guild whenever I sign on, if that's a good sign. Look around a bit, maybe post. Just fair warning.

Hope you guys had/are having great holidays and have a wondermous New Year.

Hi guys! Long time no see! *huggles all*
I've been reeeaally slack with Gaia since I got a full time job out near the city. In fact, I've hardly been on the computer at all at home. My computer died, so we're now using mum's boyfriend's dinosaur computer which is soooooooooooooooooo slow!

Anywho . . . I hope you've all been well, and the everyone had a great Christmas (or Hanukkah, or whatever else you may have been celebrating), and a wonderful new year's eve.

I wish each and everyone one of you a fantastic 2010. I know a lot of people had a pretty s**t year in 2009 (myself included). The thunder, lightning, howling winds and torrential rain we had here on new year's eve seemed such a fitting end to 2009. One lady was quoted in the paper as saying the storm would wash away the old year, and create a fresh start for the new one. This is how I choose to look at it. Hopefully 2010 is the beginning of a new, happy and prosperous phase in all our lives.

I do not know when I will next get around to logging in to Gaia. I can occasionally be found on deviantART or on msn messenger cajoy87@gmail.com, if you should miss me terribly blaugh lol

hoping you're all well. *huggles*

You should do both! It worked for me. I've worked 40 hours a week since my sophomore year of high school, and I just graduate from college. I had a 3.24 GPA, thank you very much, and that includes one semester where I was insanely depressed, just about gave up on life and dropped out, and made two D- and one F from skipping tests. So, I believe you can do it! I could have easily had above a 3.5 if I hadn't been an idiot at that one point in time. rolleyes

If you have to pick, though, go with classes. Degree = better paying job, usually. Either way, good luck.

Happy New Year to you and Arnoria. ^.^

Thanks, Dys. :3 Congrats on it working for you, even when things looked bleak. My main thing would be that I don't want to have to have my mom give me that many rides (classes and job) because I don't drive. I always feel sucky about taking a lot of rides, but she takes it in stride and says she did the same thing when she was my age. I figure (this was Mom's advice) that I'll try to get a job if the classes I want/need aren't offered this semester. It's close to time to start thinking about transferring to the uni.

New Year's Day was good here. Quiet and nice. Greeted the new day with Night at the Museum, heh. Hope you and Arnoria had a really great one.
