Liella smiled as she caught up to the quickly fluttering butterfly; Her nose barely touched the feathery wings as she darted forward, ever so gently "tagging" the lithe insect. However, right after that, the butterfly seemed to tire of the game, and giving a great heave of its wings (at least what was considered great for such a small animal), it jetted off into the trees, vanishing from sight.
Liella sighed, but not from disappointment. It had been an eventful chase, and she had no doubt that she'd see the little creature again, or at least something related to it.
Satisfied, she turned away, deciding to take a different path, and halted as something became revealed up ahead. It was a dark shape, yet not terribly so, for it seemed to be disrupted by patches of a tealish-blue color. It was standing near the edge of the trees, just close enough to spark the mare's curiosity. Not being able to stop herself, she ventured closer, slowly, and grinned as the other shape began to take on the form of a another Soquili. And what was this certain Soquili doing? It was just standing there! Was it... sleeping? What a terrible way to spend the morning!
Wishing to meet this strange stallion, she bounded forth in an almost graceful dance, coming up to his side, and giggling quietly as she inspected his sleeping form.
"You, sir, have no idea what it is you're missing this bright morning," she whispered, very close to his ear, in her light, fairy-like tone.

Liella giggled at the stallion's apparrant surprise and drowsiness, and she skipped backwards a few steps, coming to a halt in a rather elegant and tell-tale pose.
"What are you missing? Can that be a serious question, sir?" she quizzed, her soft voice bathed in merriness as she mock-teased the stallion. "Surely you can see the sunlight that filters through the trees? And hear the bird-song calling from the branches? And smell the flowers that have opened their way-ward petals to attract the busy bees that tend them? And you must surely taste the adventure that awaits us on the wind that seems so close, and yet travels from so far away? Surely you must know all this!"
She danced in close again, a knowing grin on her light features. "Of course, if you did not understand anything I just said, and perhaps are thinking that I'm some sort of crazy forest-dweller that has rudely robbed you of your last-minute beauty sleep--which, sir, you truly do not need--then I will simply tell you this: Good Morning!"
She danced away again, coming to rest amid the branches of a young pine tree, the spindly needles pulling softly at her long mane.

Still, the stallion was half-awake, his eyes appeared out of focused as he gazed up to the mare. Her voice was soft and melodic, a voice that definitely relaxed him. For a moment, his eyelids would grow to heavy and slowly drop over his eyes. His ears staying perked and attentive to whatever the the mare before him had to say.
Slowly, as the mare described the different senses being used, his mind started to awaken. His eyes reopened and searched for the sun filtering through the trees, his ears perked up to hear the birds, his nostrils took in his first conscious breathe to smell the flowers. He felt the soft wind playing with random tendrils of his hair, sending tingles down his back. He yawned, his teal eyes taking in the mare before him once again, giving her a sleepy smile.
The stallion sleepily stretched his back in an almost feline fashion. "Good morning~" He said softly. His mind had not yet registered that this was another very -real- soquili yet, only that it was another mare and she was waking him up. It was definitely an interesting way to wake up.

Liella watched as the stallion slowly became more aware of the world, and couldn't help but giggle at his droopy eyes. He definitely wasn't like her--as soon as she woke in the morning, which was usually very early, she could not even think of going back to sleep. The promise of a new day always held the promise of a new discovery, for instance, this new stallion. To Liella, the day was not long enough as it was. Why would she want to spend the precious time she had sleeping?
However, she did not not think him wrong for it. He HAD been sleeping on his own accord, and she had sort of rudely woke him up. But he was missing so many things... she saw it as a friendly service, what she had done.
"And good morning to you," she replied, slightly laughing, noticing that the stallion still was not fully awake. But he was awake enough to notice her, and to speak, and that was really what she wanted.
She emerged from the branches, letting her silky hair fall free from the spindly needles, and came to rest before him once more.
"My name is Liella; may I ask what you are called?"
