Chaonaine huff. It was pouring outside and she hated it. Luckily for her she had just found a cave right before it stated to get to bad outside. The rain had mess up her day. She was going to go to her favorite flower patch before it started, but she could. Plus she didn't eat yet and it was starting to piss her off. Why couldn't it have rain another day. When she was just walking around. No! It had to rain the day she was going to do thing. She was piss. No she was majorly piss. She wanted to rip something in have.

She spotted a rock and stalk over. She pull he butt way in the air and jump onto the rock gnawing on it to release some stress that the rain was putting on her. She roar and yell and fuss. "I HATE THE RAIN!" she yelled.

It was raining.

If he had known that, Bwana probably wouldn't have ventured from the den he and his fellow pride members were sharing in order to find himself something to eat. It wasn't like he was all that hungry, really. He had just been out enjoying himself and getting some time alone. All an excuse.

Then the rain came, as if punishing him for lying to the others. So he took shelter in the first cave he could find, dripping wet as he entered the home. Unfortunately for him, the hole he had discovered was already occupied by a young lioness.

"Oh, dear me, I'm dreadfully sorry," he said from under his soggy mane, "I hadn't expected anyone to be in here."

Chaonaine would have notice the lion coming in if she wasn't yelling and roaring at the cave. She couldn't stand the rain and she was going to show it. "I hate it! I hate it! she yelling again. She ponce on another rock and threw it were the lion was coming in. She look over and saw the lion with the feather in his mane and blush.

She didn't want him to see her this way, but she didn't know that he was there. She felt awfully bad and stupid. "I'm sorry. I don't really act this way. I'm just upset. I really do hate the rain. If you could forgive me for the way I acted, I would be in great debt with you," she said still blushing.

What could Chaonaine do to show the lion that she had class. She bow and got back up and blush even harder. Oh she must have look like a idiot in his eyes.

Bwana looked down at the rock she had thrown, glad it had landed just short of smacking him in the face. That would have been an awkward way to meet someone. Plus, he never would have seen it coming with his mane all in his face, his feather wilted down in front of his eyes.

Being wet was not fun.

“Well, I suppose I could forgive you for acting this way if you’ll allow me to stay here in this cave for a little while. Just until the rain clears up.” He grinned at that, moving a little further into the cave. “Don’t worry, though, I hate the rain too. I probably wouldn’t have been that happy about it either if I had the cave to myself. I’m just lucky because I saw you before doing anything, that’s all. My name is Bwana, by the way.”

Chaonaine was so greatful that this lion was so nice. She new other wasn't so nice. She bow again and nod her head. "Yes. Oh yes, you can stay here. That is fine. Again I'm very sorry," she said with a soft smile.

This was unusual for Chaonaine. When first meeting animals Chaonaine would act like she didn't care to see them but since she acted in such a way, she had to be nice. She listen as the lion spoke and slightly laugh. She knew he was just saying that to make her feel better, but she knew that he wouldn't act in such a way that she did. So the nice lion name was Bwana. It was a nice name for a nice lion. She nodded and smiled. "It's nice to meet you Bwana. I'm Chaonaine, but you can call me Chao if you want," she said with a slight smile.

“No need to apologize! Please, don’t worry,” he said lightly, sitting himself down as he watched the rather frazzled female move around the den. “I really don’t mind at all. I thought it was rather colorful. It reminded me of a lady I used to know in my pride. Quite charming.” He smiled, doing his best to put her at ease about the whole thing.

“Chao, a lovely name for a lovely Lioness. I haven’t seen too many lions around with such a nice pelt like yours. A very interesting color on those spots, I must say.” Like always, he was interested in pelt colors and markings. Something about the looks of other lions always amused him. Especially if they happened to wear something on top of their fur, like he did.

Accessories really could make the lion.

“So, are you just staying here until the rain dies too, Chao?”

Chao couldn't be happier that she was sharing a den with such a nice lion. She was already feeling a lot better and was a lot calmer too. Chao laugh, she remind him of someone? "Oh I remind of someone. That is very good. Was she a nice female?she aid wanting to know.

Chao gleam as he started to talk about her coat. This was one of the first time that some was talking about her. She adored it. Bwana was making Chao a lot better and she wanted to thank him for it. "Oh that you for talking about my coat. Do you really think it's nice. I always thought it was pretty plain. I also like your coat a lot Bwana and your feather. It goes very will you with you," she said with a smile.

Chao always thought about getting accessories but she never had gotten to it. She thought maybe a nice pink Flower in her hair would make her look wonderful, but it wasn't time to think about that. Chao nodded as she answer, " Yes. I'm just waiting out for the rain to die."

“My feather is better when it’s a little less wet,” Bwana admitted as he tried to look up at it. The thing was still partially hanging in his face, though he was trying to do his best to knock it to the side. “You shouldn’t think yourself plain! There’s more to a coat than the number of markings on it. The design of each spot is lovely, not to mention the other colors you have as well.”

He looked out the exit of the den, tilting his head to one side as he watched the rain filter down. It seemed to be lessening, but there was no stopping it just yet.

“Are you a rogue?” he asked lightly, “or part of a pride?”

Chao nodded and watch as Bwana try to move the feather away from his face and giggle. The poor feather was so wet that didn't have any chance at standing back up. "Well It's still a nice feather. I love the color," she said with a smile.

She listen as the Bwana talk about her coat and blush. She look down at herself and smile. Chao didn't look bad and she though highly of herself now that Bwana was talking about her. "Why thank you! I love my spots the most and the blue that accent it, she said with a grin.

She watch as Bwana look outside of the cave and she smiled. The rain was lighting up ans she knew that she could go find food soon. "Oh no, I'm not in a pride. Just a wandering rouge. Are you in a pride? she ask

Bwana smiled. He was happy to see that this female enjoyed his compliments. Most females tended to think he was just trying to mate with them when he played it nice. Generally, though, he just liked complimenting nice furs and didn’t see a problem with it. If it led to mating, well, he wouldn’t say no, but it wasn’t his main goal. Especially not in this encounter, since he had only just had a spot of fun with another lady he’d met on his journey home.

Hopefully things there would work out; he’d have to go find her to see if they had made babies or not.

“Yes, actually,” Bwana hummed, “I’m the king of my pride, Suka’Fumo. I’m just on my way back to my lands with a small band of followers. Together we’re going to see if I can make the pride what it used to be. It’s had some rough times.” He sighed lightly, trying to sound positive. He could do it. He could be a good king.

Just needed to have faith.

Chao brain was still humming with the nice thought of him commenting on her coat. She felt like she was hot stuff, but as she was thinking this, another thing pop up in her mind. Did the lion wanted to mate with her?...

She knew that lions who talk about female coat had only one thing in there mind and that was to mate with the lioness that they were talking too. Now Chao wouldn't mind at all because the lion himself was not a bad looking one and he treated her nicely. She deiced to ask if that was what he wanted. "Um Bwana is there something that you wanted from me? I mean that only a male would want for a female? she ask hoping that he would get the idea.

She sated down after asking her question and listen to him. Oh wow Bwana was a king of a pride. Oh Chao felt so embarrasses, she acted so bad when he came in. How could she act like that in front of a king. Chao did hope that Bwana pride would become a large one and she would have faith that it could. "Oh Bwana I do hope your pride does well. I really do. I have faith in you and your pride," She said with a smile.

If Bwana had been drinking something at that moment he would have been forced to spit it out. “Oh no, not at all, my dear!” Bwana replied with a laugh. Man, he really needed to stop complimenting animals on their fur- they always seemed to get the wrong idea when he told them they looked good.

Still, he supposed it was mostly his fault.

“Thanks,” he said lightly, “I appreciate that, I really do. I think I’ll be able to make the pride the very best it can be.” He looked out of the cave again, watching as the rain finally seemed to slow down, almost completely at a stop. Tilting his head, he got himself to his feet.

“I suppose it’s time I head on out. There are others looking for me, I should think. I wouldn’t want to worry them. If you ever find yourself looking for a pride, be sure to pay me a visit. I’m sure you’ll be able to find me.”

Chao was relief. Maybe he was one of the only lion she knew that was just commenting on her coat. Chao glad that she didn't have to sleep with him. She wouldn't have mind, but this was just a lot better! "Oh thank goodness! I thought you might have," she said very relived.

Chao listen as Bwana talk and knew he was going to be a great king. She also knew that his pride was going to do very well. She just had a feeling and a lot of time, these feeling came true. She nodded at him and look outside of the cave and it was almost clear.

She got and started to leave. "Thank you Bwana for a nice day! I'm going to leave now, because I need to eat. If I ever need a pride I will call on you," she said as she walk outside of the cave to find dinner
