Arietta: Hey guys and dolls! The RE-Grand Opening of Heartfelt Records! A cool music shop for your character's soundtracks! You can make as many as you like that apply to your character with whatever music you see fit! Since we all have music that seems to fit our characters, I figured it would be cool if we had a thread for music just for our characters in the form of albums. That way we can listen and comment on other people's songs! Like Amoeba music but more specialized? Still with me so far? Here are step-by-step instructions on how to create your own album, upload it and such! Then you can go and listen to everyone else's groovy music!Firstly, you go browse through some music. Movie soundtracks and game soundtracks work great! You can also go through vocals that have lyrics that fit the character! You assemble a playlist that can fit inside a CD! This is usually about 15 - 20 songs, which is like album length. Feel free to do make a single/EP if you'd like which is roughly 6 songs. A good way to see if they fit is to burn it onto a CD! :]
Next, you upload the songs onto a streaming site such as imeem.com, scratch that, imeem has been taken over by myspace... .___." Anyways, you can search/upload songs on youtube.com and create a playlist for your album! Title it something nifty, just like if you were to pitch this album to a record company, so you want some cool sounding title, right?
And for the fun of it, you can make awesome-posum album art to accompany your album. That way people browsing can just click a cover which takes them immediately to your album and they can start listening! Cool stuff right?
