Thalion:
Zubin lay crouched, ears pinned back against the back of his skull as his large white form curled closer and closer into itself. It was closing time. The thai resteraunt often had plenty leftover after hours, food that would have sat in warming pans for hours was no unfit for human consumption. For dogs- it was a regular buffet. This was his alleyway and the local strays knew that very well. Of course, there were few large strays in the area. The worst of them had been a snippy lab with a grey muzzle. The old timer had thought it best to look elsewhere. It was the way of things, the streets weren't kind to the elderly or the overly-young. Zubin was just over a year old, and while he was still young he had held his own multiple times.

Waiting seemed to take forever. He listened to the murmur of the cooks inside from his spot under the dumpster. It was a tight, miserable fit. Especially with snow melting and dripping along his back and belly.

Soon enough, the door cracked open and the large, waddling garbage boy hauled out a pair of large garbage bags. The lid was flipped open and the garbage tossed in. After a few more rounds, the cook vanished back into the doorway. Zubin waited still. There had been a time or two that he'd nearly crept out prematurely. One time it had earned him a close encounter with animal control. He didn't care to repeat it.

Once the light in the doorway dimmed and the murmur died off, the doberman slowly crept out from under his dumpster, stood himself up, and shook himself out.

Aroca:
Adamaris was remained crouched beside where her brother had just layed. She stretched her neck out just enought for her to make eye contact with her brother.

"Is it clear?" she whisperedsoftley looking back and forth between the door and Zubin.

Thalion:
The male stood still as stone for a moment, his eyes locked on the door. After a few more moments his posture loosened once more and he turned his head to offer a single short nod.

The alleyway wasn't what one might call spacious. He stepped to the side and leapt up to his hind legs, front paws resting on the rim of the dumpster as his nose began poking at the base of the lid. For the first few weeks, this trick had cost him several layers of skin off the end of his nose. After a while, and much healing, he had learned how to effectively lift the lid without causing much irritation.

Aroca:
She crawled out of the tiny space and stood up and shook off the snow ythat covered her underside and back. Once she felt lose she too rose up on her hind legs and rested her paws on the side of the dumpster. Although Adamaris was born slightly before Zubin she grew up following his lead. She never let him boss her around or take advantage of her, and she would never admit that she followed his example, but she always felt a closer conection to him then with her other siblings. She used her nose to help Zubin push the lid up.
Thalion:
Zubin caught his nose under the lid and stretched himself to lift it up further. With a bounce, the lid went soaring, hesitated, then dropped back against the resteraunt wall.

"And with that, the door to dinner is open." He chuckled. Dropping back down to his paws, he reared back, coiled into his haunches, and leapt up to the rim of the dumpster. With a long heave, he pulled himself into the dumpster.

Aroca:
Adamaris grinned a bit before also jumping into the dumpster. Her bustle nose darted from one plump bag to another as she tried to smell out food. She came accross a bag that overwhelmed her muzzle, so she took hold of thebag and through it over the side of the dumpster.

"damn, this one is filled with somethin delicious."

Her mouth salivated as she lept back down to the concrete. teeth drove into the side of the bag and she jerked her head back to tear the bag.

Thalion:
"Must have been a slow night." The male chuckled as he began pawing at one of the bags. His claws made quick work of the flimsy plastic lining. Amongst the balled up napkins, used wrappers, and discarded cardboard a plethora of battered chicken emerged.

He dipped his nose down and began gobbeling up the meal, now and then a napkin or scrap of paper followed the food down his throat but it didn't do a thing to slow him down.

Aroca:
She pushed plated aside and enhailed any scrap of food that was in the bag, which was plenty.

"There's not much meat today...damn noodles, if I weren't so hungry I wouldn't be eating these."

Thalion:
Well he'd lucked out. He had all the meat, she had all the noodles. Not that he'd tell her that. "Yeah, a shame." He commented between mouthfuls. She'd lucked out now and then, there wasn't a rule that said he had to share.

He'd eaten his full for the night. One advantage to staking a claim on a large restaurant was a full belly every day.

"Well then... what next? "
