Sukanya was sprawled out under a scraggly looking tree which looked a little worse for wear. It's leaves were falling off and it had bald patches where all the leaves had disappeared completely. She didn't seem to mind as she lazily cleaned her fur of any dirt which clung to her. She was glad to find somewhere to rest from the harsh sun, though the tree offered little shade.
Humming to herself, she didn't have a song in mind, she was simply just trying to fill the silence. The humming had little tune, and little reason. Sukanya was not a musical leopard, but she was lonely. She had stayed in a cave once, just so she could hear the echo sounding back at her when she'd spoken. She had been talking to herself, she knew, but it was a nice change from the otherwise silent night.
Shaking her self, she flopped back down with her back to the tree. The afternoon sun was pleasant and her black fur soaked up all the heat.

Keir was hot from this heat. He been looking for a tree to lay under but there was none that he had seen in a while. He just walk and walk with the heat on his black fur was like hell. He knew he was going have get out of the heat fast.
He began to hear humming and he walk to it. He was sure if this was a good idea but it was better then the silent the was with him. He humm along whit it. He smile and hope he could meet the someone that was humming.

Sukanya was not expecting to hear someone else humming along with her poor tune and when it reached her ears, she stopped abruptly. Was it merely an echo? or was it something else? Peering out from lowered eyelids, she glanced around.
The male lion was nearby and for a second, her heart stopped in fright at his dark coat and blood like red markings. When it clicked in her mind that it was in fact just markings, she began to relax but he was still larger than her and she was lying down. Jumping to her feet, she stood with her back to the tree, peering at him in paranoia.
"H-hello," she greeted, hoping he wasn't aggressive.

Keir saw that she was getting scare so he made sure he would show that he was a nice boy. He smile at her. " I like your blue. It perrty! Did you hear someone humming?He said as he tillt his head. He really wanted to get under that tree because it was so hot.
"No need to to be scare. I nice. I don't like to hurt other..I like to make firend with others!"He said as he walk under the tree. It felt good to get alway from that sun. He lay down next to her and smile. He was so lazy that he forgot to ask to sit next because he want to lay down so much. He yawn and look at her.
"It really nice down here! That must reason why you under here! I'm Keir, by the way! You may be?"

"T-Thank you," she stammered, slightly bemused at the compliment. "Yes, I...I was the one who was humming. It makes the silence seem less deafening," she explained quietly, staring down at the ground. When he walked towards her, she tensed up, but he seemed only interested in the shade.
"Yes," she said, as he laid down beside her. She stayed standing for a moment, before sitting down, not ready to lay down yet. He hadn't done anything yet, but that didn't mean he wouldn't. "I don't like the sun, my coat is too dark for the sunshine." She peered at him. "M-my name is Sukanya. I like your name," she offered, almost shyly.

He look up at her and smiled."Oh your your the one that was humming! Well thank ya for that. It lead me to you and this tree of yours. Yes it did make that awfull silence go alway." He said as he yawn. She look really scare and he didn't want anyone scare when sitting next to him. It just not right.
"Same here! Both are coat are no good in the sunshine. What a lovely name that is. Thank you!" he look up at as he said this. He wiggled his body and grin. This felt so good under this tree and be next to someone to talk was even better."So how are you on this nice day?"

She gave a shy smile at him. "I drew you here? I'm glad. The sun is far too hot to be out in right now. Have you been traveling long?" She was starting to relax, but not by much just yet.
"Thank you," she responded to his compliment about her name. "I am...fine," she offered. "Tired but that's from walking earlier. How are you?" She peered at him, curious over him. Why was he speaking to her? Did he want something?

"Yup sure have! breen trying to find a tree! now I did because of you! Thanks ya!"He siad with a smile. She look like she was claming which made him even happier. He yawn and shook his body.
He laugh with a gin as he talk"I'm alway tried! I really lazy, so it don't take much for me to get tried and sometime I act tried just so I don't have to do anything! It really nice to talk to someone out here. I feelin kind of lonely today. But I found someone to talk to! His ear flick and his nose begun to wiggle and he look at her. "So how long have been under this tree?"

She smiled again. "I'm glad," she said softly, shifting slightly in awkardness. She wasn't used to talking to people that often. She was used to being alone.
She watched his grin, a little amused by how happy and hyper he seemed. "It's easy to feel lonely out here," she agreed. "There are few around, most are safely in dens or homes. It's nice to talk to someone again." She peered out at the sun, trying to guess the amount of time she had been under the tree. "A few hours, at most. I walk in the morning and evening, so I don't overheat," she said, nodding.

He sat up and move closer to her. He grin some more! He was soo giddy to talk to someone! He was just wried like that. He talk anything if he could. "Yeah I felt soo lonely out here that I talk to a rabbit before. I DIDN'T EAT IT! That crazy huh! But I guess it just because I was so lonely."
He sinff the grass and lay back down and began to roll around in it. "Ahh feel good!" He roll somemore untill his head hit her side. He smile and look up at her."Sorry.......and yeah I uselly talk to thing when night time. Yup yup! I like the Night time it better then. Do you like the nigth time?"He siad as he more his head from her side.

Sukanya eyed him in mild amusement. He was like a cub, over excited and practically bouncing on the spot in his eagerness. How could she think someone like that would harm her? It was a ridiculous though and she relaxed more. "I have spoken to rabbits before," she admitted shyly. "And birds. Birds are good listeners, if you don't frighten them away."
She watched him roll on the ground, giggling lightly. "Yes, I love the night. I travel at night, because of my coat," she said, peering down at her black coat. "Though my markings make it hard to hide completely." Her blue paws and tail were easy to see at night, which made it hard to disappear completely.

He yawn and his eye got really big when he heard about."Birds!! Wooow! I bet that awesome! There have shuch pretty colors too! They sing some of the best song too!" He said as he laugh. He roll over and look at her paws. He sniff them and look at them again.
"Yeah they would because there soo pertty! I bet you get lots of thing that want to talk to you beacuse of your pretty self. My coat Is gose well in the dark! Yup yup! But some time my eyes make not hide well too. He said as he look in her eyes and grin. He lick his nose and said. "Your eyes are Teal? Are they not? Teal is a cute color! I love drifftent colors!!"

She smiled down at him. "Yes, they're very lyrical, birds. They don't talk back very much though." She pulled a face, childish for a second. She moved her paws back when he sniffed them, a little confused, though when he began to speak, she looked a little pleased.
"Not many things talk to me," she admitted quietly, but knew it had nothing to do with her colouring, but her attitude. Most couldn't be bothered getting passed the quiet exterior. "Your eyes are handsome," she told him, though the red was faintly unnerving. "I love different colours too."

He smile again and said "They don't?! Well shoot, that no fun. I like it when somone talk back to ya! That what make it better!" He laugh at the face she made. He was really happy that she seem to be clam now. He wrink at her and shook his head.
"I talk to thing even if they talk back. That just how I am. But that ok aleast i'm talking to you right. I could been mean or something....He siad as he look at her. She seem really shy and lonely. It saden Keir and also made him feel bad for her. Then he heard what siad and reply to what she said"Well thank ya. Most people think they look scary or something. It make me sad cus lot of thing think i'm scary. I don't why but they do.. Hmm. What color do you like the most!! His eye when big when he said his last word.

Sukanya laughed softly. "One sided conversations do tend to get a little dull," she admitted, shaking her head softly. The other male was very bright and perky, like a young cub would be, except he was obviously not a cub.
"Mm, that's right!" She agreed, nodding her head. "At least now there is someone to talk back now." Her smile was soft and small, not a bright grin but it was something at least. "People think anything that is different is scary," she said, scowling lightly in annoyance before it was wiped free from her face. "Favourite colour?" She asked, sounding surprised. She hummed as she tried to think. "Blue," she admitted with a soft laugh, flicking her tail to show off her markings.
