Glorious Heritage Class Heavy Cruiser

Platform Overview:
The Glorious Heritage class Heavy Cruiser is the bright star of the Omega Militant Space Forces fleet. As the most visible symbol of the reach and power of the Omega Militant Forces, command of these vessels is reserved for the best and the brightest. Capable of high-endurance, independent operations, the Heavy Cruiser nonetheless operates most often as the central component of a battle group. They are ideally suited for interplanetary combat, although they can play a significant role in planetary strike operations and logistics support for a battle group as a whole.
In addition, XMCs are often called upon to perform disaster relief and refugee support operations due to their spacious interiors and ability to ferry large quantities of emergency supplies and additional personnel. During peacetime, XMCs are most often tasked with independent intergalactic exploration, charting and documenting the star systems. They are also the preferred platform for first contact missions, given their formidable combat capabilities and their ability to operate without a battle group. However, the Celestial Valor often works alone.

HWR-00 Mk-VII Centaur Heavy Weapons Series Artillery Drone

Vehicle Type:
Heavy Artillery Plantary Assult Drone
Mobility:
Rolling Speed 85 kph
Running Speed 61 kph
Gross Dimensions:
Height 33.7 meters
Depth 29.6 meters
Breadth 25.5 meters
Weight 322.0 metric tons empty
1007.95 metric tons fully loaded
Power Systems:
Galland WT 3029 thermonuclear reactor developing 23,000 shp and auxiliary Shinnakasu Industry CT8P Thermonuclear Reactor developing 1800 shp
Weapons Systems:
Vickers mk36 406 mm auto loading, liquid fueled, liquid cooled cannons (6); The cannons, mounted on top of the mecha, can fire 1125 kg high-explosive (HE), 1300 kg armor-piercing (AP), 987 kg anti-aircraft (AA) or 1254 kg nuclear (SPN) shells at a rate of one shot per cannon every five seconds. The maximum range of the main armament is 21 km on Earth with the mecha at 0 degrees inclination. If the Drone is standing on an inclined surface, elevation of the barrels will be increased and the maximum range will be larger. At the optimum angle the maximum range will exceed 50 km, though accuracy will be limited at that range. The cannons can also fire directly at the enemy if there is a line-of-sight. The shell room can house 126 rounds; and each ammo drum holds another 200 rounds that can be transferred to the shell room via conveyor.
OTEC mk29 quadruple-barreled laser cannons (2); built into the arms. Each barrel fires a 4.5 mJ laser volley every two seconds.
Bofors SRML-3 missile launcher (16); 48 inboard variable warhead, short range Triphage missiles. Each launcher holds three ready to fire Triphage missile with no reloads, six launchers are recessed into the front of each ammo drum and two are recessed in each side of the ammo drums.
Electronic/Sensor Systems:
UWB phased array with spherical coverage, for various scan/track, battlefield surveillance and counter battery options.
Multi-band digital camera system, for medium range all attitude infra-red imaging, optical and ultra-violet band detection and tracking.
Multi-frequency laser ranger and designator.
Radar Warning Receiver (RWR)
Infra-red Warning Receiver (IRWR)
Active sensor jammer
Chaff and flare dispenser
HWR-06 Mk-I Centuar Heavy Weapons Series Artillery Drone

Weapons Systems:
Vickers mk6 400 mm/40 cm autoloading, liquid fueled, liquid cooled cannons (4); The cannons, mounted on top of the mecha, can fire 1125 kg high-explosive (HE), 1300 kg armor-piercing (AP), 987 kg anti-aircraft (AA) or 1254 kg nuclear (SPN) shells at a rate of one shot per cannon every five seconds. At the optimum angle the maximum range will exceed 50 km, though accuracy will be limited at that range. The cannons can also fire directly at the enemy if there is a line-of-sight. The shell room can house 28 rounds.
Raytheon LSSN-20G triple-tube long-range missile launchers (2); built into the arms. Each tube can carry-
2 RMS-1 "Angel Of Death" nuclear stand-off missiles. The missiles have a reaction warhead (200 kT) and a range of 250 km at Mach 4.0 in the atmosphere. They are however optimized for space use, where they have a delta-v of 4.1 kps. Guidance is by multi-spectrum imager and active radar homing.
