We present to you the first NSTG Monthly, a newsletter that will keep you up-to-date with the most recent events and information in both our community and in the Gaian community as a whole. Let's get started!
- January 4th, 2010 marks the 5th anniversary of the Newbie Supporting and Training Guild! Our theme for this celebration, as chosen by our members in a previous survey, is friendship! Stay true to our celebration's theme and remember to be a friend to all Gaians you meet - experienced or new.

Enjoy a more colorful 2010! You're not limited to using named colors in your posts; you can use any color you can think of with Hex values. Google "Hex Values" to find 6-character codes that allow for ultimate customization. To post in your new-found colors, simply type the hex value into the code where you would usually write the color name. For a wider variety of customization options, play around with Tektek's Gradient Text Generator!
This month, we spotlight Ancantsia, a crewmember who has served the NSTG for a couple of years now. She is often found organizing events and contests, such as her Monthly Collectible Contest. Every month, participants create a TekTek Dream Avatar using the most recent Monthly Collectible, which serves as the prize to whomever designs the most popular avatar. Please join us in thanking Ancantsia for all her hard work and generosity!
Our first Spotlighted member is Utena_Tenjou_86, a lovely lady who has been with us for many years now. You may know her from her Lotto, which is the largest thread in our guild and easily one of the most popular we've ever had. She is thinking about making some changes to the Lotto since the race to the thousandth page is completed and the Lotto's draws have been made, so be on the lookout for new developments in her thread. If you do visit the Lotto, please be a friend to Utena by politely following her rules. Thank you, Utena, for your dedication and selflessness!
