Rolling about joyfully on the pebbled dirt ground of the rogue lands, Jasiri scratched an itch, but it felt much better then that. Finally, when the itch had been fully attended to, he rolled back unto his stomach, and pondered his day. It was already about mid-day, the sun high above the savannah. Clearly he'd slept too long. But oh what a good sleep it had been. Jasiri vaguely remembered dreaming of some fine lioness', but sadly, no details lingered in his mind. Muttering curses under his breath, the purple lion sat up straight and lazily gazed around. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a horn-bill bird ever so carefully perched on the branch of a long dead tree. A bit of drool found it's way to the corner of Jasiri's mouth as he fully turned his stare on the poor creature. Crawling in a crouched position for a few feet as he gathered his bearings Jasiri calculated the pounce he was going to make, and went for it. The Horn bill however, had clearly seen him, and flew away, making a noise that sounded like hysterical laughter. Growling, and feeling sorry for himself, as well as immense shame, he rammed his head into the dead tree that the bird had been previously perched on.

It was an absolutely beautiful day. The sun was high up in the sky, showing quite clearly that it was some time around midday. There were barely any clouds in the bright azure sky, and the beautiful lioness known as Kis'erela couldn't have been any happier.

Kis'erela was on some sort of a joy-run as she sprinted throughout the high grass that now surrounded her. At that particular moment in time she had been leaping up a small mound of dirt; though it was small, it was certainly the highest point in view, much to Kis'erela's advantage. Even if she had been making much noise only moments before, she now crept up the last bit of the hill with a distinct notion to be quiet - she was hugnry. Once she reached the top of the hill, she looked about warily, hoping to see some sort of wild animal she could take as her victim. But instead of some sort of animal of prey, she saw a striking purple lion and - what was he doing? It seemed to Kis'erela as if the male was beating his head against the trunk of a tree. Stifling a giggle, Kis'erela quickly decided to crouch down low and work her way towards the strange male as if he were an antelope. Creeping down the hill, she stalked onto a pebbly-terrain, something she definitely should've noticed beforehand, as it quite distinctly made the sound of 'crunch' under the weight of her grey and white paws.

When Jasiri heard the crunching of the pebbles, he wanted to chew his own paws off. That had been why the stupid bird had seen him. Why hadn't he thought of it? Snapping back into reality, he realized that hearing the crunch meant that someone was approaching, and quickly turned to see who was making the same noise that had foiled his lunch. Upon turning he mentally grinned, the thoughts of losing his lunchtime prey all but lost from his mind. The female lioness that was trying to sneak up on him as if he were her prey made up for the loss.

When Kis'erela saw the male's head swivel in her direction, she knew her cover had been thrown. Internally, she knew she was groaning at the loss of the element of surprise, but externally she felt herself stand to present herself, all while grinning. The male the she now faced was quite the looker; though she never usually dwelled on male's appearances, she couldn't help but to admit that he was quite handsome.

Softening what she felt to be an over-eager grin, she stalked a bit forward and slightly bowed her head. "Hello," she greeted him, trying not to chuckled outwardly as she replayed the scene of him banging his head on the tree truck. "You seem to have been having a bit of... trouble over here. Anything I could help with?"

Puffing his chest in embarrassment, Jasiri shook his head. Even if he did need this lioness' help, he would probably never admit it. No, that would damage his ego far too much. However he decided not to take offense that she had offered help, as he didn't want to drive away a lady. Releasing the breath that he had used to puff out his chest, he grinned, and tilted his head.
"Perhaps there is..." he purred out flirtatiously," but, is there anything I might be able to help you with ... I'm sorry, you haven't given me your name yet, or do I just have to refer to you as beautiful?"

The male's obvious attempt at wooing Kis'erela caught her off-guard; she hadn't taken him to be the flirtacious type, but she had to admit that it suited him quite well. Laughing light-heartedly, Kis'erela looked at the male with a new light in her eyes. "Oh, you flatter me so, but really; you do need to try harder if you're going to impress me. And call me what you may, but my given name is Kis'erela." She smiled at him, wondering what his own name was, but not feeling it would suit her to ask.

Flicking her tail tail, Kis'erela smiled invitingly and sat down upon the pebbles. Though it wasn't the most comfortable, she felt as if this meeting was going to last for more than a few minutes, and decided it best to settle down and get comfortable.

Jasiri smiled, he liked this one, she wasn't as easy as other women he'd met in the past. Momentarily he found himself thinking on those women, but stopped, telling himself that the past had no place when there was a lady around. " Your name is as beautiful as you, you're lucky that it suits you well." Bowing his head slightly towards her, he stood, and slowly circled around her. After a moment, he found a spot a bit in front of her, and cleared it of pebbles with his tail, nodding his head towards it,"I'm sure that will be more comfortable then sitting on those rocks." Grinning, he cleared a spot for himself as well creating a small dust cloud in his haste.
"My name is Jasiri, and I'm glad to have met you on this fine day."

Nodding, Kis'erela smiled at Jasiri. "Mm, thank you," she muttered, getting up from her sitting position on the pebbles only to walk a few feet and settle down opposite her previous place in the dirt, instead of the hard pebbles. She looked over at him and smiled softly. "Great to know, but I'm still quite undecided on how I feel about having met you, Jasiri." Batting her eyelashes ever-so slightly, she flicked her tail curiously. She was quite hoping he would make it easy for her to decide; was he going to make this a good day, or one she would later look back on and regret having wasted her time?

A frown flickered briefly across his face. How had he not already swept this lioness off her paws and stolen her heart? Well, that only made the challenge all the better. Gathering himself, he smiled warmly at his new acquaintance," I apologize that I have not made it easy enough for you to have decided already. Let's not linger on that shall we? I hope to learn a bit about you, if you're willing to share of course."
A tactic chosen from the many inside of his head of course, Jasiri hoped this would work, and he would learn something about her. Learning was always good.

Seeing that she had made all of this hard on Jasiri, Kis'erela knew that her tactics were working quite well. She got the feeling that he had before charmed many a lioness, and did not aim to make herself an easy catch for him. As he conjured up his sentences, Kis'erela quirked a brow. "I'm not quite sure I know what you would like me to tell you, Jasiri. I'm quite the unfascinating creature, but maybe you could enlighten me on the subject that is you?" Of course, if he persisted she sure enough would attempt to tell him about her, but she was honestly unsure of what to speak about. Even still, she was having quite a bit of fun with this male - she hadn't really ever been around another who was so flirty; but the excitement of it all was definitely making her love it.

Jasiri found himself warming up nicely to this lioness, he was just so pleased that she wasn't a complete air head and even had the sense to challenge him.
Make him work for whatever it was that he wanted. However unused to it he may be, the feeling of a challenge was a much welcomed one. For a split second her wondered what it might be like to settle down with an intelligent lioness instead of chasing complete airheads around all the time. But quickly he shoved the thought from his head.
"Well perhaps you could tell me a bit about your mother? Clearly she taught you well."

Kis'erela smiled softly at the male, who seemed to be quite taken with her. Raising her nose into the air a bit, she merely said; "Clearly," in a quiet but haughty manner. Bringing herself back down the earth a bit, she shrugged - as much as a lion can anyway. "I'm sure she would've taught me well, if she'd been alive for any portion of my life. My father told me when I was just a young cub that she died during my birthing." She herself could hear the hint of sadness that tinged her voice; not knowing her mother had been hard on her, especially with only having her father to grow up around. Ignoring the tugging feeling she felt in her heart at the memories it was bringing back, she trudged on. "Anything else you'd like to know?"

Now feeling sufficiently awkward, Jasiri wasn't quite sure what to say to the lioness and took a moment to fully compose himself again. He felt bad for clearly bringing up a painful subject for her. He should have known better then to ask a question like that without knowing if she even had parents, or at least, a face to put to the title."I apologize. I hope I can redeem myself. Well. How about you tell me where you're headed, if anywhere." Pausing a moment, and grinning he spoke again," I promise I won't follow you."

Shaking her head softly, Kis'erela smiled. "There is no way you could've known; please, don't apologize for the sake of something to say." For a moment, she mulled over the question in her head. Where was she headed? Being a gal full of adventure, she never really planned anything; she simply traveled and let her paws lead the way. "Oh, Jasiri," she said with a small laugh, finally having thought of an answer. "It's not following if I invite you along, now is it?" She smiled softly, and continued. "But really, I've no idea where I head off to next. Life is like a little adventure for me, you see; I travel the lands in hope of finding new and exciting things, prides... lions..." Satisfied with her answer, Kis'erela flicked her tail and awaited for him to respond.

This lioness sounded a lot like himself, though of course, he was a lion so she probably was a lot different. He didn't even want to begin on that thought train. Women were far too confusing to even begin trying to think about in depth.
"That sounds like the way I like to live. It's a good way if I do say so myself. Mind sharing what you've found that's interesting on your travels?"
