WISHES OF THE NIGHT
Oh, how I have missed the scent of night air. The wind that has wafted through nature, Stealing a hint of its beauty as it passes by, Harboring its eternal loveliness where ever it may go, Carrying it to me, causing memories to return - Memories of dreams and wishes upon stars, Wishes upon the Moon, upon the Shadows, upon Darkness - Wishes of the Night. It brings me back to a time, In which I believed that anything was possible.
And blessed with this cool kiss of promise, I sleep.

Beautiful! I love the idea! Though you may want to re-word the second line, that one line seems a bit awkward in a poem that otherwise has an exellent flow.

Thank you. I do agree though, it does seem to just run on forever. *takes out pen and contemplates how to change it* Any suggestions?
