Sirius hadn't encountered anything, nothing in fact since her awakening other then a senshi or two. Those senshi had taught her something that well she hadn't expected. It was something though and she had tried to remember all that she could. After all it was good was it not to remember things other senshi would tell you? So when she encountered the big ugly fat thing that now stood in front of her she had panicked slightly.
"Collar Bound!" The words came to her easily and as she spoke the words the collar appeared again. It bound the ugly fat youma thing but then she was stuck. What could she do now? She had the thing trapped, the same way she had it before. Nothing could hurt it and it could hurt nothing but she didn't know what to do.
"Oh damn it!" That Nemesis girl had been right. She really did need to team up with someone.

Her heart wasn't in the patrol tonight. There were still too many unanswered questions about the morality and ethics of her powers. However, she couldn't deny Alkaid and frankly, she couldn't just metaphorically tell the law abiding citizens of Destiny to go ******** and fend for themselves. So here she was, patrolling the city and making sure that nothing disturbed the fragile peace.
And that was when she heard the soft, slightly panicky sounding "Damn it!" from somewhere not too far off. Waving an arm to get Alkaid's attention, she telegraphed her thought that they should check this out. Though with luck it wouldn't be anything serious. She didn't feel up to serious right now.

Alkaid was more than aware of Saiph's reluctance to battle - she was facing her own misgivings with the morality of fighting herself, especially after being such a gentle soul prior to her awakening. Yet, she also knew that if she did nothing there would be consequences. Consequences in the form of innocent people suffering at the hands of the Negaverse. That, Alkaid decided, was just not going to happen.
The night had at least been uneventful, and for that Alkaid was glad - for both of their sake's. It wasn't until she heard the curse from up ahead that a chill launched down her spine and she shot a quick glance at Saiph. No words needed to be spoken, Alkaid knew exactly what Saiph was thinking.
Alkaid broke into a run, rounding the corner, and then stopped short as she saw the youma. That Senshi was just standing there! "Hey, get - oh," her words broke off mid-yell as she realized the youma was.. stuck? Alkaid threw a quick glance to Saiph, brows raise a little. It must have been the girl's power, but she certainly looked lost over what to do with the youma next.
"Can that thing get out?" she asked as she looked back at the new Senshi, still standing at a distance just in case.

Sirius turned at the sound of a voice and smiled.
"Hi!" She called out in a rather strained voice. The youma was strong and she could feel it battling against her.
"Nope it can't go anywhere till I let it but I can't do anything to stop it... and its strong..." and fat and ugly. Oh why did they have to look so horrible? At least they stuck out, Sirius had found it and collared it before it had seen her which was something but she couldn't do anything else. She didn't know what else to do.
"Can you help?" The strain in her voice was becoming more and more obvious. She wouldn't let it out but she wasn't all that strong, she had only been a senshi for a couple of days.

For one brief, terrible moment, Saiph wanted to do nothing more than sit down and laugh hysterically at the strange senshi and her trapped (and confused looking) youma. But she couldn't. It wouldn't be fair to the poor girl trying so hard to keep the youma from breaking free.
The youma in question didn't look very bright. Or human. Thank whatever gods were listening that it looked like exactly what it was. A fat, smelly, ugly monster. This... this she could reasonably handle.
"Hold strong! We'll be happy to help you!"

Well, for what it was worth, the girl didn't seem to be too terribly frantic. Alkaid knew that if she had been in her situation she'd have probably been horrified. She could keep her cool, that was a good sign!
"Of course, we'd love to help," she said with a small smile - small, because even if the situation was under control, she knew she was about to have to fight a stupid youma. Stupid, but probably strong. They always were.
She threw a glance at the youma, staring at it for a moment, and then turned her gaze back to Saiph. "I can distract it when she lets it go, give it a target to run for, and you can hit it with tail thrash then?" If she just let it go, then it might go after the other Senshi and that could be tragic. Alkaid was still far enough away that it wouldn't likely hit her before Saiph could attack it.

Sirius took a few steps back so she could hear better what they were discussing. She was terrified to say the least but she was keeping her cool and that little bit of pride in her started to swell again. She had done well catching the thing. However really what is one suppose to do with a collared youma?
"Just let me know when to let it go." Thats if she could remember how to? What a stupid thing to forget. Then again at least she remembered the words to collar the thing otherwise she would be standing here dead right about now.

Concern glowed deep within Saiph's eyes as Alkaid suggested a course of action.
"Just so long as you don't get hurt. Keep out of its reach and out of range on my attack. No more concussions for you!"
Smilign wanly at her partner, Saiph held back, quietly concentrating on the youma. She couldn't control her attack. But she could make damn sure to aim properly.

Alkaid offered Saiph a soft, reassuring smile as she saw that familiar concern shining for her in the Senshi's eyes. She knew Saiph would always worry about her no matter what they did, no matter how careful she was, and the most she could do was reassure her partner that she wasn't going to be completely reckless. "No more concussions, I promise," she said softly, then took a few steps to the side until she was sure that she was out of range of Saiph's attack.
"Alright," she said, bringing up one hand to ready her attack, eyes focused on the girl in front of her. "Release it and get out of the way, because Saiph's attack will really hurt, okay?"
She waited until the girl let it out of it's trap, then called out for her attack. "Guiding Light!" She brought her hand back and then let it fly forward, the ball of light whizzing towards the youma's face. It wouldn't hurt it much, but it would be quite irritating. Then she simply steeled herself, waiting for it to come running and for Saiph to attack.

Sirius listened to what she was being told and nodded. She let the thing loose and then moved as quickly as she could away from the thing though half watching to see the other girls attacks. She was curious about each senshi's attack and how they were all so different.
She found something to take cover behind not really knowing what to expect from the other girls attack and there she stayed and waited.

Wait for it... wait for it... There! She watched as the youma charged her partner, teeth and claws at the ready to rend Alkaid if she didn't time this just right. For a moment she hesitated, afraid of her power. Then, inhaling deeply, she sternly took herself in hand and cried out, "Tail Thrash!"
The energy leapt from her, enough to sling the youma into a wall and stun it. Maybe even enough to crack a few bones. But it wasn't enough to drop it completely. Saiph knew that, could feel that her attack had felt strangled somehow by her own emotional hangups.
What might have appeared to be control to the other two senshi was really less control and more fear holding things back.
"Oh s**t!"

Great, Saiph hadn't dropped it. Alkaid was left staring at a charging, angry youma with wide eyes. She could either run like a chicken with her head cut off or attempt some of her new, amateur combat moves on it. Running might endanger someone else, which pretty much made her decision for her.
She grounded her feet, curling her hands into fists, and waited as it charged. It might have looked brave, but inside Alkaid was torn with the memory of Tanzanite and her ability to take her out so quickly. Where had all her confidence gone?
As the ugly thing came stomping up to her, she reared back and used all of her new skill (which still wasn't too terribly much) to aim right for what she assumed was the closest thing it had to a jaw. That only earned her a screech of pain and swatting hands that tried to smack her away like a fly. She'd already been retreating, having learned it was wise from her youma encounter with MuCephi, but was still unfortunately slow. The youma twirled a fist out and hit her in the upper arm as she was back away, just enough strength behind it to send her sprawling a bit.
She grunted, pushing herself up to her feet, but managed to scramble out of range before the youma could take another swing at her. "Any ideas you two?"

Okay so things weren't going to plan and Sirius wasn't about to let it hurt anyone. She ran forward shouting the words as she did so. A plan could be worked out later, while she had strength her power would work.
"Collar Bound!" There the thing was stuck again and they were back at the beginning but at least it wasn't going anywhere.
"Are you okay? She turned to look at the girl who had to just physically fight the thing. Eww touching that... ewwww.
"Plan B anyone?"

Ideas, ideas. Did she have any ideas for how to stop this thing? Her eyes fell to the small crater the youma had left in the wall. A brick or two had been knocked from it. Grimacing with distaste, she hurried over and scooped up one of the bricks, hefting it experimentally.
Well, she thought, if magic won't work, there's always good ol' blunt force trauma. Turning quickly, she lobbed the brick with all her strength, managing to catch the monster square in the face. Its pained howl caused a fleeting grin to flicker across her features.
"Well, it won't be pretty, easy or clean, but physical violence seems to work."

Alkaid nodded, though she was drawing deep breaths to try and steady herself. "Yeah, I'm fine, not the first time one of those buggers has swung at me." She was twenty times more confident at Saiph's side than she was alone, but that still left room for doubt.
Her eyes followed Saiph as she stooped to pick up one of the bricks that had been dislodged in the youma's rampage. She watched as she tossed the brick, and a sickening feeling settled into the pit of her stomach. She'd been witness the last time a Senshi had used blunt force trauma to take down a youma and it.. wasn't pretty to say the least. Then again, Nemesis had overdone it just a little.
She stalked across to Saiph and picked up one of the bricks as well, staring down at the jagged, broken edges with disdain. Then she simply sighed and turned to look at the new Senshi once more, her hand curling around the brick. It would be easier if she could keep it and use it as a close range weapon, she figured. "Okay, Plan B is beating it to death, it seems. You ready to let it loose again?"
