Castiel likes to listen to orders. He never goes against what his supiriors tell him and doesn't appriciate people asking him to. He has taken a liking to Dean and wants to help because he has a feeling that the other Angels aren't in the fight for the same thing anymore.
H i s t o r y
Castiel is the Angel who pulled Dean from Hell. He tried to converse with Dean directly, but his visage and voice were too painful, so he possessed the body of Jimmy Novak, a willing body, in order to speak to Dean. When other beings see his true face, it causes blindness. While he follows orders given to him by God, he also has his doubts about whether what he is doing is right or wrong. When the Apocalypse starts, he finds himself on the other side of the battle to the other angels, and sets off in search of God. He was killed in a battle against Raphael, but was brought back by forces unknown.
